Not worth it.

Nothing stood out.

It just wasn’t a property for me. I arrived 2 hours after check in (5pm) and the room wasn’t ready and still had the same sheets and a towel from the previous guest. The host and the cleaner(the host words) apologized and the gentleman said he thought he had cleaned the room but it literally took him 10 minutes to change the sheets and clean around a little bit. So not sure why it wasn’t prepared before hand. I was only there for one night thankfully! The pillow that was provided seems very old and tattered. I had to place some of my clothes underneath it just to give it some lift cause the pillow was so flat. I didn’t mind the water pressure which I saw a lot of people complained about but there wasn’t any hot water when I showered. The sheets are very thin so I had to use my towel as a blanket, not sure if they had any blankets but that information wasn’t provided either. The front and back door stayed open and if a person was smoking on the front patio, you can smell it in the room. The blinds were broken so a person on the patio could see inside the room. You can tell they put up any size curtains cause they didn’t cover the whole window, so privacy was limited. The place just gave me an icky feeling and honestly I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone for the price I paid, $83 for one night in a single room. I have lived and stayed in many other countries and maybe since the availability for a hostel in Nassau is limited, I assume that this host doesn’t have to provide much since they are not competing with anyone. This is just my experience.

Un lugar un poo triste

Las vistas son agradables. Es una casa antigua , integrada con el barrio, que es residencial y tranquilo. Se puede ir caminando hasta el centro y hasta la Paradis Island. Es muy silencioso

La casa al ser vieja tiene las instalaciones un poco deterioradas.- Si bien responden por whatsapp no hay nadie en el Hostel para que te de una mano. Y realmente es necesario porque no hay casi transporte público, las paradas no concuerdan con lo que dice google, no hay Uber ni taxis pr la calle circulando, Te los tiene que llamar de algún hotel o bar. No hay informacón sobre excursiones, no te ofrecen nada, no tenés a quien consultar y, como es un lugar tan especial, realmente habría sido de gran utilidad contar con algún local.

In airport no cambio.. Solo bancomat.. In negozio hanno sim $ 33...In centro 26 dollar in farmacia..Vale 5 gg... taxi da 40/60 dollari.. Il dollaro americano lo puoi spendere anche alle Bahamas... Se vai fuori airport alla rotonda 300 mt. sulla dx passa 1 volta h. bus x centro km. 15...Circa 3 dollar... A Bahamas si gira a sx.... In bus solo cash...hostello si trova km. 1.3 dal vero centro.. Personale non idoneo... Per entrare cavarsi le scarpe.. Una bella hall e tavolo x soggiorno.. Una media cucina non tanta tenuta bene... Ottimi fornelli.. Acqua viene pianissimo da tutte le parte... No pressione... Acqua doccia fredda... Assiugamano 5 dollar... Rent moto a richiesta 100 dollar 24 h....room dorm big... letti comodi e alti... Cuscino sgonfio...zona tranquilla... Attenti a scalini.... Un bagno enorme e uno medio small... In room ventola è aria cond...ocio se girate in moto, buchi profondi in strada.. Fuel venduta al gallone... Euro 1.40 al lt. circa.. 30 min. a piedi da Paradise Island... No bus x Island Paradise... Solo taxi 10 euro x 2 km...La spiaggia più bella è zona terminal navi e Jaw beach... Il resto lasciare perdere...

Optimal für einen kurzen Aufenthalt

Wir haben die Unterkunft nur für eine Nacht genutzt, da wir erst am Abend in Nassau gelandet sind, am nächsten Morgen jedoch bereits weitergereist sind. Wir haben mit dem Inhaber einen Transfer vom Flughafen vereinbart. Er hat uns auch am nächsten Morgen zum Hafen gefahren. Das Zimmer biete soweit alles was man braucht und es war sauber.

El lugar está razonablemente bien ubicado. Cerca del downtown, playas y supermercado. Oneil es un anfitrión muy amable y el lugar estaba limpio y cómodo.

Tiene un problema con la presión de agua. En la cocina es imposible lavar la vajilla, y a veces para bañarse hay demasiado poca presión. Información confusa en la publicación respecto del desayuno. Se publica que hay disponible desayuno pero lo cierto es que no tiene servicio de desayuno

スタッフが非常に親切で素敵なダウンタウン付近でバハマ滞在が出来た。まず空港シャトルについて、事前にWhatsAppにてフライト情報を共有して迎えにきてくれます(片道$40、往復$70) 往復には空港はもちろん別の場所に移動する際にも割引が効きます。シャワールーム(ユニットバス)は2箇所あります。キッチンもあります、共有の調味料や過去のゲストが置いていったフリー食料も使えるので、食品ロスにも貢献しています。ランドリーは洗濯/乾燥込みで$10 上記の空港シャトルやランドリーなどは基本現金でのやりとりです。バハマドル・米ドルOk

昼間時たま断水するところ。裏庭に蚊がいるので蚊の対策をしてほしいかと思います。

Scary, but in the end it was ok, we are still alive.

ONeil the manager was very helpful and gave us rides in his car when needed. The bed in conch room was comfortable. The fridge and microwave were good features. We had a private entrance and bathroom which was good, as we didn’t have to interact with all the guests.

It was not as advertised. Free breakfast was advertised-no free breakfast. Internet password was incorrect. Lock on front entrance door was never locked. Musty smell in Conch room. We needed help understanding how to work TV. The landscaping in back yard needs improvement.

I‘ve been to hundreds of different hostels around the world. Would not pick this one ever again.

The Veranda is nice

There is no basically no water pressure in the showers, apparently this has been the case for months. On the one hand the host was very helpful, on the other hand the tone was often quite rude. The fridge was dirty, the whole house is quite in disrepair, there is a no shoes in the house policy which is odd for a hostel with so many different people (always wore flip flops in the showers anyway…), the vibe of the place. Maybe it was me but I never fully got into holiday mode.

有一个问题向店主投诉，12月12号，我问在店里做清洁工的先生，送去机场多少钱，他说20美元，我就请他15号早上送我去机场，他的车牌号是: AX9331。15号早上他开车送我去机场，车开出住宿房只有200米，他突然说，去机场要40美元，我说你明明12号告诉我是20美元，他又否认了，说你要不同意就将车开回去。投诉店主人，这个清洁工太不讲诚信。我不能给出好评。谢谢

I got to meet plenty of people going on blackbeards cruise the day before birding on the boat!

it’s very very basic, could do with a bit of refurbishment. location not ideal.

Good location, not exactly in the downtown area but close - main attractions in the walking distance. Location quite easy to find, all instructions were provided beforehand. Very helpful owner.

Very poor

Poor host. It was very very cold in the room but no blankets were given, host was rude and told me that he gave blankets for washing. Upon asking the other guests I found out that he has been giving this answer for so many days. Pathetic kitchen.

A place to Recomend 101% from location,host and the rent a car thats available on site.

Everything specially how the Host handles all the guest thats Mr Oneil.

Good for coming to Bahamas and spend time in downtown and Atlantis hotel . Weather can change very often from rain to sun . Prices are high.

Amazing

The boss is very nice, he is very enthusiastic, patient, cleans frequently, tells us where to play and what activities are there. Treat us as true friends. I was very happy with my 5 nights here. It's a great place, like a big family.

Unfriendly staff and felt unwelcome.

Extremely unfriendly staff. Told us to go out and would give us the room key when we got back (as they didn’t have it yet), when we got back, nobody was there to let us into our room. Had the tiniest bit of sand in the shower from the beach and got confronted by the staff who got quite angry. Not a comfortable stay.

Superb

The owner was very gentle and offer a lot of nice service including the Lyft from and back to the airport. It is the only nice place you can find in Nassau for that price and in this good position .
