joli séjour à ponta delgada

emplacement de rêve face à l’océan - parking devant l’hôtel - personnel adorable et souple (le dernier jour nous avons pu prendre notre petit déjeuner à 7h) - ménage fait tous les jours, serviettes changées tous les jours aussi - petit déjeuner moyen mais avec quand même plusieurs bons pains et des produits locaux - on nous a réservé la balade en mer - un restaurant grill installé en face de l’hôtel propose des plats de poisson frais du jour (pas de congelé) bonne alternative afin d’éviter d’aller jusqu’à ponta delgada

les matelas et les oreillers pourraient être changés, manque un bon système d’aération / ventilation -

Der Blick und die direkte Nähe zum Meer und Strand war fantastisch.

Die direkte Lage zum Meer ist unschlagbar. Das Frühstück war gut, es gab alles und man wurde satt. Parkplätze vor dem Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal von der Rezeption bis zur Zimmerfrau.

Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen. Der Preis dafür zu teuer. Aber der Blick auf das Meer lässt den Preis vergessen.

Kort verblijf aan zee

Locatie is mooi. Parkeerplek voor de deur. Ontbijtbuffet met keuzes. Personeel vriendelijk en doet zn best hez naar de zin te maken

Vermoedelijk aan het ‚ombouwen‘ naar meer luxe. Toch passen handdoeken met rafels en gaten daar helemaal niet bij. Op de kamer ook veel dingen die het net nog niet zijn

Hotel nad oceanem

Hotel w bardzo dobrej lokalizacji, zaraz przy plaży. Głośny szum oceanu słyszalny w pokoju. Malutki aneks kuchenny. Duży taras, na nim stół i dwa krzesła. Parking bezpłatny pod samym hotelem. Pokoje codziennie sprzątane. Bardzo miła obsługa na recepcji. Śniadania bez zarzutu, zawsze świeże bułki, wędliny i sery. Polecam!

Lovely beach facing.

Although there are many more up market hotel options on the island, I love that this one is right on the beach, with having balconies facing the ocean. Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves is delightful. The free breakfast is excellent, with local cheeses and tea, and excellent coffee machine with all the espresso your heart desires. There’s an unusually large parking lot for the island, where it is easy to park. Across the street are a few surprisingly good restaurants. One in particular has an excellent menu that rivals some of the well reviewed restaurants in ponta Delgada and Furnas. Although sao roque is a more simple village, walkable access to multiple beaches and restaurants. A fast drive to ponta Delgada. I recommend this hotel.

Maybe they could clean the curtain over the balcony door.

Good place to enjoy your holiday in October

+ Quite big room, enough space for two people + Big terrace, with loungers and a perfect view on the ocean + Good accommodation: you have an access to the beach from your hotel, big parking and bus stop with buses to the city centre, food shops and pharmacy in 5 minutes walk + Friendly staff : everyday cleaning, free beach towels and loungers, always in a good mood. + Kitchen in the room with everything needed to cook, and a microwave

- Small cockroaches in the bathroom - Breakfasts were below average, very limited and the same every day. They are ok for 5 €, but i think that it is better to have more expensive and fool breakfast in such hotel. - Furniture was quite old and some towels had small holes. - We were living in the hotel in October and the price was 75 euros for 2 and it is good, but in high season you have to pay 165, for it and it isn't worthy.

Wc without window and the air fan was broken. The bed was very small and not comfortable. Without air condition it’s really humid. Towels and sheets are really cheap and not cleaned as should be.

Definitely NOT good value for money

Good location, next to the beach.

No private parking (public parking on the square, only available if not too much people visiting the beach). Noisy area. Awful breakfast : not fresh, not diverse, not tasty, hair on the cake!!. Rusty unusable deckchairs on the room terrasse. Old-fashioned small bathroom. Very small and not well equipped kitchenette. This place needs deep redoing!

The only good thing about this hotel is the view and location just on the beach

It was very hot in the room... On booking it was mentioned that fans will be provided, but we asked at reception and apparently, they "ran out of fans". I am pregnant and it was a torture to sleep. All this considering that we were lucky to have a bit of a cloudy day. Can't even imagine what would be on a hot day... Breakfast was a complete disaster, instant coffee, fridge at 13 degrees that stinks and food from yesterday or days before. I took fruit salad which definitely was off for a few days already

Stunning location, breakfast and beds to improve

Stunning location, right on the beach. The hotel has a big free parking and S.Rouque is less than 10 minutes driving from Ponta Delgada. We were very happy with the daily cleaning services and the room size. Overall, it's definitely worth the price

The mattresses weren't super comfortable and we had two separate beds next to each other instead of a double. Unfortunately no savoury vegan options or clear allergen informations for sweets. We were still able to have breakfast with oats, fruits, bread and jam. Would have been better to have labels though, when we asked they weren't able to tell us

Location is perfect! Right on the beach. All rooms face the ocean. Love the sound of waves!!!

Beach facing excellent stay

Warm and welcoming staff including the ones at the front office Uber Bolt services are not prevalent in Sao Miguel islands, so if need be they can arrange a taxi which is slightly expensive as compared to Porto and Lisbon. But bus stop is also available right outside the property. Spacious rooms facing the sea which was amazing with sun beds also provided in the balcony including small table and chairs. So, when greeted with good sunny weather it feels excellent staying in the balcony. Bathroom a bit small but wasn’t a problem at all for us Portable heaters are available in the room and we had to ask for one more since end of February felt too cold to us even though islands are a bit on the warmer side as compared to mainland Portugal. Good breakfast every morning with milk juices yougurt, cornflakes and likes, cheese ham butter and different breads.

Everything was perfect :) the room was big with a nice view to the ocean. The staff was very kind. Although breakfast starts at 7.30 they were so nice to prepare it for us at 7.00. there is a parking near the hotel. I do recommend the hotel.

Direct on the ocean and listening to the waves. Watching the surfers was a delight. After we toured the island we realized how special this location was. The staff were exceptional in meeting our individual needs and making us feel welcome. A complimentary bottle of champagne on New Years Eve was a nice touch.
