Super Ausblick

Tolles freistehendes Haus mit super Blick auf den Vulkan (wenn er sich denn zeigt). Schöne Terrasse, toller Aussucht. Im Garten viele Kolibris, Glühwürmchen, Kröten - ruhig. Sehr netter hilfreicher Host

Die Nähe zur „Schotterpiste“, es war doch sehr laut, wenn sich Autos und Motorräder dort hochquälten. Es liegt recht einsam , ein Restaurant ist um die Ecke, das hat uns leider nicht so gut gefallen

million dollar view for fair family price

this view is probably the best you can get, no other words than just breathtaking this is a million-dollar view for a good fair price. which when you are traveling with a family is great we had an amazing time, even when the volcano was in the clouds,the house was comfy to hang around in.

Beautiful volcano view!

Great location for calm stay with spectacular view on the volcano. The house is relatively small (just living room and one bedroom), but has all what you need to stay with the family, including wash-machine and even small terrace overlooking the volcano.

It was a bit hard to find the house in the evening when we've arrived. It's around 20 mins car drive to La Fortuna. Last 3-5km is a gravel/stony road, with quite steep part around 500m before reaching the house - you may need a car with enough clearance (we had 4x4 SUV, so was not a big deal for us).

It was nice to be away from the crowd in Fortuna. Wonderful view on the Arenal ( before the rain came )

The direct contact with the owner’s mother who took us on a garden tour and made us discover hospitality And… very hot shower!

Slightly difficult access. But close to one of our best restaurants in Fortuna: Jalapas

Amazing Views.. didnt want to leave the place.

The view of the Arenal Volcano was unbelievably incredible. One of the rooms was surrounded with glass windows giving you the possibility to look at the magnificent view even from the bed. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor area of the house was also amazing. Would definitely recommend and visit again. Only one room had AC in it the others had fans. Didnt meet the hosts but they replied quickly.

The location is around 20 minutes outside of La Fortuna town however there was a road which the hosts told us about which made it easy to get around. Road was quite rough. I think that the place is not accessible by bus.

Wouldn’t want to leave

first there is the view. Once the sky clears up you have a fantastic view on the volcano. we only stayed for one night but we wouldn’t want to leave in the morning trying to stay as long as possible. couldn’t get away from all the hummingbird action. the communication with our host was all via app but super responsive and stressfree. I personally like it when I have someone to talk to in person but I totally understand if this is not always possible. And as I said: I always got an immediate response. I would totally recommend this cabin which was well equipped and spotless clean. And by the way: the view is the same (or maybe even better because higher up) as at the resort furrher down the road where you‘ll pay ten times as much and have to share it with other guests 😀

Great place, super relaxfull, great price/value ratio.

The property owner was super kind, 100% willing to help us and offer information. The house has an amazing view, the beds were super comfortables and everything was super clean. We just loved it

Superb

Great view! The house located very high, above La Fortuna (you must have car), directly in front of the Arenal. Very nice and large garden.

Since the roads in Costa Rica are very slow, although the distance is not to big, it take about 20 min

Scam hotel don't book!!!

This is a scam. The hotel was under construction. No one was in when we arrived and when we looked around the property we quickly realized there was no accomodation to stay in.

Exceptional

The best view of the volcano in the La Fortuna. The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Large bathroom. The bedroom has air conditioning and comfortable beds. Even though the house is out of town, the restaurant is right next doors. The access road has a section without asphalt, but an off-road vehicle is not needed. Daniel is a great person: very friendly and helpful. He helped us pick up our lost luggage .

Perfect stay

This cottage is an absolute gem. You have a breathtaking view of Arenal Volcano from your own terrace. We spent countless hours sitting out there enjoying the gorgeous views and fresh air. The cottage itself is beautiful, air-conditioned bedroom, spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with large shower, even washing machine is included. Daniel, the host is super-friendly and helpful; he assisted us with arranging an amazing ATV tour at a very good price. Also, there are a couple of great restaurants really close by, and all the attractions of La Fortuna are easily accessible.

This place was very lovely! It had an amazing view of volcan arenal. The whole house was really nice, especially the bathroom. It was a lot bigger than i was expecting. The water pressure was really good considering the rest of Costa Rica. It was 5 min from fortuna & 30 from the hanging bridges. The person who owns the place also offers night tours & sloth tours as well as many other activities in fortuna. He was very nice and accommodating. 100% will stay here again when we come back to Costa Rica & highly recommend others staying here if they plan to go to Fortuna :)

Loved it!

The stay was amazing! We were greeted by Daniel and he was a great host. I loved the view of the property and an added bonus was the washer. The dryer only was an air dryer so we hung up our clothes. Daniel’s grandma lived next door and was super nice and her little dogs were cute and greeted us in the morning.

Very good

The view from the patio was perfect of the Arenal and it was good to relax on the garden furniture. The house itself was very clean and well equipped. There was a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, a nice bathroom with hairdryer, etc. Also, in a drawer was a pair of binoculars with which you could nicely watch the volcano and many birds. Daniel in itself is a very great host who is there to help.

Something negative we found the air conditioning, which gave again and again loud noises, which also disturbed us partly while sleeping. The beds we found unfortunately not so comfortable, especially because there was no real blanket. We have talked to Daniel about the problem with the AC and he has taken care of the issue and will certainly fix this.

Amazing view and amazing hosts!

Amazing location and amazing hosts! I loved getting up every morning and having the amazing view of the Arenal volcano.

The roads are a bit rocky, but you're in Costa Rica.

Exceptional

Daniel, our host, was so helpful even before we even arrived in Costa Rica. He helped us book tours, gave us directions, and was very friendly. The view from our room was amazing with the volcano right outside. One of the best parts was eating Grandma Esmeralda's breakfast. It was so nice to chat with Daniel and his grandmother while having a delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast. Our stay was amazing!

Super nice owner and very confortable house

The cottage is quite big and has a lot to offer! The kitchen is super well equipped and the bathroom has a nice big shower. Also the owner is very polite!
