Cottage #4 is a beautiful little house with 2 nice bedrooms snd a shared bathroom. My only disappointment was the distance that we had to walk through soft sand to reach the bay.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The cottage was clean upon arrival with a newly renovated bathroom. The cottage is small but perfect for the right group! The cottage has access out of a front door into a private patio space with dining table, fire pit, and lounge chairs along the dunes to the beach. This was a plus because the other cottages do not have such a view from their patios!

Perfect location for us for the beach, visiting with friends in the area 5 minutes south, going into Ptown for entertainment and restaurants. The second bedroom was appreciated as we were able to host one of our BFFs from Boston for 1.5 days. The cottage has a little more space than it looks in the photos. Though we didn't take the opportunity to use them due to time constraints, we appreciated that the kayaks and paddleboards were available, and the firepit. We were very surprised that management expected us to provide our own sheets and bath towels especially since we received notice about this after we'd already left home and nothing was in the VRBO notice about it. Management came through for us though and had both bedrooms and the bath completely supplied and made up - there were so many towels and washcloths we couldn't use them all! :D We loved the place and area so much, we asked Management to stay an extra day. They were incredibly responsive and accommodating. So we had an extra day to enjoy the beach and go whale watching. We'll be back!

The cottage has a grassy private backyard with all you need to relax as a parent. Right in front of it is dune sand for kids to play and you’re within feet from them relaxing. The beach is right behind it. It‘s great not to have to carry sand toys and gear. Just the towels for a swim. There were beach chairs we could have used to bring to the beach. Swim vests and paddle boats etc right there and in the garden to take to the water. The propane was low on the fire bowl, and they responded to my late Sunday evening email that someone will be out the next morning! That’s great service! They came and switched it as promised and we were able to enjoy the sunset around the fire bowl in comfy recliner chairs. I loved that the cottage was surrounded by lush grass to keep a lot of the sand out. And an outside shower stand on the grass to rinse off! This was a great little detail. The cottage could use some updates. The bathroom and kitchen just about had it, but it was clean and functional as much as it can be for its age. The shower is pretty small space. You might have to squeeze a bit. And don’t forget a floor rug or towels for the shower/bathroom floor. We didn’t use the ACs but there are lots of windows and a nice breeze to cool it down. This was our first experience to bring all the bells and whistles - towels and sheets, soaps, extra TP, dish detergent and towels and scrubs … but shopping is close by. Costs more up here for groceries and gas, but is to be expected. The beach has lots of swept in algae so its not the wide pristine look we usually have, but also mussels and fun stones to find for the kids was a great trade off. Being able to bring your dog was a great vacation experience for the whole family. Being right at the beach on top of it was super relaxing. Overall a great time and we’d come back.

We had a great week! Cute cabin on a beautiful stretch of bayside beach. Lovely backyard with fire pit, and yard furniture, kayaks and paddle boards. Friendly neighbors and lots of dogs —-so perfect for vacationing with your dog. Ours loved running on the sandbars at low tide. Lovely common yard and deck. TV has ROKU so we could stream what we wanted. Nice dishes, glasses and pots and pans. Tiny kitchen but it worked fine for us. Down side: Listing said sleeps 6 but pullout couch in living room was very uncomfortable. The floors in the kitchen and bath need deep cleaning. The bathroom is mildewy. The bathroom door to one of the bedrooms didn’t shut.

We stayed in cottage 4, one of a handful of cottages on common land It was clean and matched its description and photos. It is small with room enough for 4. It sleeps six but that’s pushing it. Cottage 4 unlike the others had its own backyard with a nice table and 6 chairs, a grill and great propane lit fire pit big enough for 6. We used it every nite. It’s a semi private yard because it has a community deck next to it where folks from the other cottages can sit and grill. But everyone was nice and respectful and gave us a chance to meet folks. The cottage is on the beach but you cannot see the water. You have to walk over a small dune to get to it but it’s a private beach on the bay side. The cottage had 4 good beach chairs and two umbrellas. That came in handy. It was A little rocky at the waters edge but very pretty. It has everything the description said it would have. We had to call the property manager three times for minor issues but they responded to each issue immediately. I highly recommend Cottage 4.

We understand the need for the cleaning fee due to Covid however, The property had mildew in the bathroom, and the bathroom floor around the shower was dirty. Many of the windows had no screens so we couldn’t open those windows and the air conditioner had not been put in yet (it was sitting on the floor inside the unit). The description said bring your own towels and sheets which we did but it made no mention to bring soap or additional toilet paper. We happened to bring a roll of paper towels, a bar of soap and an extra roll of toilet paper (thank goodness because there was one roll). We did find some sort of empty soap container under the kitchen sink. Also, there was a drawer that had towels in it but we had no idea if those were even clean. We (once Covid began) bring sanitizer wipes with us to wipe the counters down before we use them. (Again thank goodness because the counter top was dirty, it was not pollen). The outdoor grills were in our opinion not usable….one was rotted out, and the other had utensils inside the cover however were on the rusty side. The outdoor lighting around the patio area had all broken bulbs which pose a safety issue. Also, the place could use some fresh paint as many areas were quite worn (not your usual wear and tear). We have never booked through VRBO so perhaps our standards are a bit high but considering this is before the official “big summer weekend” we would think the property would be in cleaner/better shape. We do have pictures if you would like and we could forward them along. Again we would expect the place to be cleaner. (No mildew in a bathroom). The Lees
