Located in Taupo, this lovely house for £160 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This modern home offers uninterupted views from Mount Tauhara in the north to Ruapehu in the south and overlooks the Taupo CBD and Marina. The view of the town lights at night offers yet another spectacular perspective. The lounge extends through twin stacker doors to a massive wooden deck where you can immerse yourself fully in the views. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the property is totally fenced and gated (i.e child friendly) and offers ample off street parking for vehicles and boats. The great open plan living area that features a fully equiped kitchen, is heated by your choice of a heat pump or freestanding Metro wood burner, there is always plenty of dry firewood in-house. Sit back and enjoy the amazing views day or night whatever the weather. Downstairs Rumpus/Bedroom is kept cosy and warm courtesy of a modern electric heatpump. It is a cruisy 15 minute walk to Taupo's excellent shopping and great cafe's. Special conditions: Smoking outside only please. Deposit required to confirm booking.

Great location, easy 10 min walk into town and stunning views across the lake to the mountains. Spacious property in a quiet cut-de-sac fully fenced and gated. It is in need of some TLC internally.

Perfect for a get together for the family and some close friends, some came from Wellington and some from Auckland.(some stayed in a local motel too) We played golf at Tauhara and got together in the evening for some tall stories. Amazing setting for this event.

Great house with plenty of room for our griup of 9. The living area was neat, great flow from the kitchen, dining, lounge. Nice and warm with the fire, heat pumps and electric blankets. Great communication with the property owner. The view was stunning 😍

Group of friends down for the marathon. Perfect place to unwind and relax, fireplace makes it very cosy and good size TV to watch the rugby. Good kitchens, bathroom and rumpus room downstairs.

Has been a brilliant family home in the past, a little tired now with holes in walls etc but perfect for our use as we didn’t have to worry about our kids damaging anything eg pool table was a great hit but had rips on the green surface. Heat pump downstairs couldn’t be used as the control was lost and both contacts I had been given to ring if we needed any help failed to respond to my messages. Beautiful views and upstairs large enough for us all to spread out. I would recommend it and would stay again.

spent the weekend here and it was a beautiful stay. beautiful view and clean house. felt very homely and a lot of space for my siblings and i. didnt understand the rubbish bins though being from auckland so we kind of mucked up there. but all in all we loved the house.

Private location Chattels fantastic with plenty of accessories 3 toilets, 1 separate and 2 showers which suited our needs Garage under which was great as it was raining when we arrived and allowed us to empty vehicles without getting wet Overall a great property which does need a little bit of maintenance Will recommend

We travelled to Taupo for Ironman and family holiday. This house was amazing. So much space. Stunning views from the living area kitchen and deck. Everything you could wish for and only a short walk into the centre of Taupo!,,, Derek the owner was also great to deal with and very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

What a lovely property, with stunning views over Lake Taupo! The home is large, clean and has everything you need. We had eight adults (4 couples) and we all had our own bedrooms. I fully recommend this property. Derek was a great communicator and very helpful! Thank Derek my family and I had a wonderful stay!

The view was fantastic and rooms good. Very disappointed with state fridge and freezer was in. Lots of opened products uncovered and awful runny stuff in salad trays. The bbq was also covered in deep fat. Also carpet gripper exposed on entry to kitchen which was painful. Broken chair in dinning room, previously reported in January.

It is everything we expected & more, the veiws are spectacular & the neighborhood is quite & friendly, my Husband also said when we win lotto we're going to see if we can buy the house as it's literally our dream home, it's everything I want 💕💕 I have nothing bad to say about our stay except I wish we never left 😟😊 we will definitely be back every year, thanku Derek for such a wonderful home for a few days

lovely big property heaps of beds, heaps of room, lovely big kitchen and living areas. should have advice about the stairs as there are a lot of them and our older whaanau struggled with this. otherwise we loved it. thank you
