Tutto perfetto, addirittura oltre le nostre aspettative. Consigliato al 100%

Tutto, Casa Lira è perfetta. Comoda, spaziosa, fornita di ogni servizio e necessità, è una bellissima villa con un panorama splendido sull'oceano. Con una macchina è possibile raggiungere Funchal e qualsiasi altra meta dell'isola in tempi ragionevoli. Menzione d'onore va all'host, Fatima, che si è dimostrata premurosa, attenta, e disponibilissima a fornire suggerimenti, indicazioni e ad aiutarci nelle nostre necessità. Ci ha fatto inoltre trovare dei doni di benvenuto che sono stati graditissimi e che hanno reso la nostra esperienza superiore a qualsiasi aspettativa avessimo. Tutto considerato, questi sono stati il miglior luogo e il miglior host presso cui abbiamo mai soggiornato. Se torneremo a Madeira, risiederemo sicuramente di nuovo a Casa Lira, e consigliamo a tutti coloro che vogliono visitare l'isola di farlo.

Family stay at Casa Lira

Our stay at Casa Lira will remain in our hearts for the rest of our lives. We felt like in paradise in this house. Fatima is a wonderful person, she took care of us with all her heart. To welcome her, she prepared a delicious dinner and gave us lovely and tasty gifts. The kids were happy, and so were we the adults. The villa was equipped with everything, we lacked nothing, it was very spacious, comfortable and wonderfully decorated. Billiards, heated swimming pool, pizza oven... We already want to go back there.

Tolles, riesiges Haus. Alles sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Der Pool ist toll, sauber und mit einer wahnsinnig schönen Aussicht. Fatima hat uns ein Willkommenspaket mit Essen und allerlei regionalen Köstlichkeiten bei der Ankunft zur Verfügung gestellt, sodass wir am ersten Abend nicht nochmal los mußten. Top! Auch wurde anstandslos während des Aufenthalts der Pool gereinigt, nachdem dieser durch Asche eines Waldbrandes in den Bergen verschmutzt war. Fatima war überhaupt immer sofort zur Stelle, wenn wir was benötigen. Außerdem ist die Außenküche, direkt neben dem Pool großartig. Man kann hier sogar im Holzofen Pizza backen.

Die Küche im Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Da waren wir aber nie. Ein Ventilator oder Klimaanlage in den zwei vorderen Schlafzimmern wäre ganz schön. Aber das ist jammern auf hohen Niveau...

We loved our stay at the Casa Lira house and surely will come back there again.

We loved the view, the space, the comfort and style and most of all the host. The host at all times tried to make the stay exceptionally comfortable and pleasing for us.

The rainy and stormy weather for a few days in a row unfortunately didn't allow us to use the pool as much as we would have liked. I guess we have just been unlucky. Our host however tried to make things as comfortable for us as possible.

you will do no better than Casa Lira.

I’ve stayed at Booking, Airbnb, and VRBO homes around the world and Fatima’s Casa Lira is hands down the best of them all. Fatima is the best host…period. The house is exactly as advertised and is a pleasure to stay. It is quiet, fully furnished and has everything necessary for a long term stay. Short stays could probably be car free as the grocery and other basic amenities are within walking distance (e.g. poncha bars, pizza). A vegetable and fish truck comes by once a week. Taxi service is readily available. Longer terms stays would benefit from a rental car. Access to the main road to Funchal, Paul de Serra is easy. overall this is a fantastic house to stay.

perfect sunset villa to enjoy Madeira

The property is fantastic. It really made for an excellent holiday. Lots of space for a family with 2 teenagers (and 4 bathrooms). The outdoor pool, sun deck and kitchen are perfectly set up for spending the days in the sun. The pool table, bar and balcony upstairs are great for hanging out in, in the evening. The house is high on the hill so the views are spectacular and perfect for watching the sunset over the sea. The 2 kitchens (yes 2!) are very well equipped, everything needed to make meals. There is a built in BBQ/pizza oven in the poolside kitchen, all stocked with wood. The living room has a generous sofa and TV (with apps). The poolside kitchen has a large TV with apps also. There is 2 WiFi routers to cover the house, no issues with bandwidth. The bedrooms are well decorated and beds were very comfy. lots of pillows to choice from also. Fatima (host) was brilliant, so welcoming and communicative. She met us at the house on entry. She had generously stocked the house with welcome goodies. Any questions we had she answered immediately. Down the hill and around the corner is a pizzeria, cafe/bar and a couple of shops. A couple of miles away is Calheta, which has a marina/promenade with several restaurants/bars and a large supermarket. Also beaches for swimming in the sea. To get the best out of Madeira you need a rental car. This certainly works out best for enjoying the house also. We spent the week exploring the island, visiting natural swimming pools, waterfalls and rain forests. We went canyoning and fly fishing for trout. The restaurants were very good and never had a bad meal. One if the best Holidays we had as a family.

We spent unforgettable holidays in Madeira in Casa Lira. The owner Fatima is fantastic friendly warm person who was taking care of us through whole our stay. She was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and nice places to visit, making sure we have everything we need and we are fully satisified with staying at Casa Lira. House, including kitchens is very well equipped and spacious, blooming flowers around the house smell amazing, pool is warm and view from terrace is breathtaking, you can watch ocean and sunsets. We arrived far after midnight and even that late we were welcomed by Fatima personally with tones of snacks, wine, champaign and fruits. The house has great location in quiet location, close both to Levadas and sea shore, and town. We definitely can recommend the house for people appreciating comfort and those who allow for being spoiled by sweet and helpful Fatima.

Everything was just perfect! The house is spacious, comfortable and clean. It is equipped with everything needed and more. I can't remember nothing that was missing in house. We experienced the 99 level of hospitality, it was amazing. Fatima helped us with everything and also made lot of great surprises :) If I'll continue writing lot of praising words someone can consider this to be a fake review 🙂 So just believe me "Casa Lira" is the best place to spend vacation on beautiful island of Madeira. Thanks again Fatima for making our vacation tremendous :)

Off course, it's a beautiful place with plenty of quality equipments: bbq, pool with stuning view, pizzas oven, billard, charming bed and bathrooms...but the most important thing : you NEVER met one incredibly host like Fatima...Go there Fast ! (i never make trip reviews )

Exceptional property and stay

We stayed in the Lira house for 5 nights and it was one of the best holiday we ever had. House is very spacious and clean, kitchen is very well equiped and you have everything you would possibly need on a holiday. There is a clean outdoor pool with warm water and a spectacular view to the ocean. The host is super sweet and her hospitality is execeptional. We felt very welcomed and we recommend this place from our heart.

Casa Lira: where hospitality meets luxury

What an amazing place! We have recently spent 2 weeks at Casa Lira and we are completely blown away by this incredibly beautiful home. The house was spotless and each and every corner was ultra-clean. The mattresses and the pillows were extremely comfortable and we were provided with more than sufficient amounts of fresh towels, kitchen towels, dish towels, napkins and toilet paper. This house had it all: coffee pads, spices, snacks, dishes, glasses and cooking pots of all kinds, shower gels, soap, you name it! Casa Lira also has a breath taking view which you can enjoy from the main kitchen or the swimming pool. Fire place, pool table, bar, huge living room, stone oven for home made pizza, ping-pong table... it is a full package for a holiday stay for families and/or friends. If that was not enough, we have experienced a hospitality beyond belief! Fatima, who took care of us during our stay in Madeira, was literally the kindest person we have ever met! Knowing it was my wife’s Bday, upon arrival, she prepared the entire Birthday welcome with food, drinks, cake and baloons! She was in touch with us the entire stay making sure we have everything we needed, additionally spoiling us with some local drinks and cookies from time to time! Simply amazing! Even after our stay in Casa Lira, she helped us while having some problems with our next property on the island. A truly Incredibly kind and lovely person. If Hospitality is Love in Action, we have received all the love there is at Casa Lira! Thank you for everything, dearest Fatima, you are truly a wonderful person!

Great time spent in Madira in CASA LIRA

We were so lucky to be able to spent some wonderful moments in Casa Lira during this special period of time. The weather is great, the food is so yummy and Fatima is so so so so so nice. Every time she passed by she brought us gifts and upon departure, she gave us gifts made by herself with love. Too spoiled with the heated swimming pool , indoor BBQ and the billiard table. Hope to come back soon !

I have been travelling around the world for 30 years! Casa Lira it was the right choice! Such hospitality as in Casa Lira I have experienced for the first time.There was a great hospitality after our late arrival. We have to thank for everything to our host Fatima.The house was incredibly beautiful, rooms were well equiped and cuisine was realy delicious. Our host Fatima prepared everything to every detail! Fatima is a generous and accommodating host and you fee like at home from the first moment. Upon arrival, fresh flowers, fresh fruit in every room and many Madeira products awaited us everywhere. The view from Casa Lira was unmatched and we had one of the most beautiful vacations. The villa is very beautiful and spacious. Beautiful and heated swimming pool with beautiful views and outdoor kitchen gives you an unforgettable feeling of holiday. I can absolutely guarantee that you will not be disappointed. It is the best choice for you to do!t is a place for which I can guarantee, I will recommend and certainly I want to come back. Believe me, accommodation in Casa lira it is the best choice!!👍👍👍👍👍
