Cost comfy pet friendly stay

Such a great house for our family holiday of 7 adults and our parents’ dog. Everything was comfy and cosy and there were even treats for the pup. We had a lovely time staying here.

The foldout bed in the den is very uncomfortable so I would recommend bringing a blow up mattress for this room. Luckily that room was only used for one night of the stay.

Great place to relax

What a lovely quaint cottage. What more could you ask for, it felt just like home. The communication between owner and us was great. We had a relaxing great time, would stop here again.

Delightful cottage in a great location.

Location was excellent and just around the corner is a little cafe where you could enjoy a lovely breakfast/lunch and coffee. Just a short walk further and you are in the main street with some beautiful homewares and clothing stores to browse. The beach is an easy walk to reach and if a keen walker I would recommend walking along the beach at low tide to the Port Lonsdale Lighthouse (approx 5 klms one way). This home is super cosy and spotlessly clean with some welcoming touches. Although we did not bring our furry friends we would definitely consider it next time as it is very pet friendly with a secure yard. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return one day soon.

Everything was great with the cottage however in regards to Queenscliff itself we did struggle to find a local taxi service however were able to locate a local resident who runs a business called Call4Alf. I would recommend booking in advance if you are planning on needing this service.

It was like a warm hug, with lots of love and care.

the cottage was cosy, clean, warm, comfortable and all our needs were provided for.

Delightful by name delightful by real

We both enjoyed a great weekend at Delightful Cottage. Having stay there 3 times now, we always real relaxed and happy when being there.

Excellent and very comfortable.

The house was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was super comfortable and we really appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Walks on 'dog beach' were wonderful.

The location was on a main road, but that didn't deter the wonderful experience.

Beautiful beachside cottage

The property was absolute gorgeous, has everything we needed and really sweet little touches such as wine and chocolates and was so clean!! The owner Carmen was amazing in terms of her communication and checking in to make sure everything was okay. This property is the rare place you stay that feels like home. Can’t recommend this property enough!

Highly recommend a stay in this property

A wonderful place to stay while visiting Queenscliff and surrounds. From the minute I booked til well after we left, Carmen kept in constant touch to ensure that everything was OK. The cottage itself lives up to its name. It is a welcoming place to stay and everything has been provided for guests (and their dogs). From the chocolates, wine and canine treats on arrival, to the many games and DVDs for those quiet times, to the washing powder in the laundry, Carmen has thought of everything to make her visitors' stay outstanding. Hydronic heating is an added bonus for those cool nights and the extras in the pantry are so useful for travellers. The kitchen table is a great place for family to gather around or to use as a workplace, while the garden is private enough to relax in the sun without worrying that the neighbours can observe you!

There is absolutely nothing that detracts from this property.
