The room had a bad smell and two single beds where put together to make a double. There was also banging sounds.

It was close to where i needed to be the following morning for work, the rooms were clean and tidy and had sufficient amenities for 1 person
digital entry system didn't work properly, i had to keep buzzing to get back in the building as the codes for the front door which were meant to be the same as the room door did not work. Guests who spent the night out returned at 5am knocking and banging on the door to get back inside as their code didn't work.

The location was OK. The external was a bit run down but likely out of the owners control. Inside was reasonably clean and of a good size. The owner was really helpful and catered for our dog without fault.

The manager was good and helpful. I was going through a barevmant. I wanted to leave early, and she helped me get my money back with no fee.
The bed had hair in it the was hear clump on the flour the ben were not cunfutdal to sleep in the bath room didn't look appealing. The flour from the bedroom to the bathroom was very noice Colwick.

staff were fantastic but property was not very nice, so much to be looked at and thought of, very much the basics really, and if you have to think about doing the basics correct then you really have something to worry about, staff were very unusual and made us feel very welcoming but yet very uncomfortable at the same time. overall I would rate this hotel if you can call it that. more like a hostel, clearly states bed and breakfast but doesn’t supply breakfast as an option. definitely not for a family, more suited to 16-25 year old young kids, as I was saying this establishment would be rated at a generous 3

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were immaculate, clean, and tidy. Had every k needed for the one night stay. It was comfy, cosy, and perfectly located with a 3 minute walk to the nearest kebab house. I couldn't have asked for more.
I had to get out of bed. But that's just me.

It was clean comfortable,& keyless so no worries loosing keys just a simple code ,and a short walk to we're we wanted to be which wasn't the town center but the Yardbirds Club ,so would use it again 👍
I suppose just the shared toilet which was only next door ,but apart from that no issues and was all very clean and well kept 👍

Nothing!Upon arrival we were placed into a room where there were a double bed, a single bed and a double child bed with a top and bottom sleeping place. There was no cupboard at all. This was offered to us instead of another room saying that "oh, it's bigger than the other". And the next morning we saw that the other room (that was originally planned for us) was a normal double room.
We were told not to take the bathmat from our room into the common bathroom as there's another there. Well, it must be hygienic. (no). We were told how to use it instead and that's what you can see on the picture! We were told to use it every time when we go to the bathroom or the toilet because the door is closing very loudly. Ridiculous! Leaving the door open every time, pardon??? What about privacy and values? And what's this under quality struggling with the room door??? And if you are not acting without any noise at all, then you are put in place! How do they dare??? We went for a relax and they put us into stress? Where is the compensation for this??
I am more than upset!!!
In the evening at around 9 pm, we went out to buy some food. The entrace door was closed from a 10cm distance. Aaaand, I got a text message that when I get back, I have to make sure that no noise with the door at all. Pardon?????
Unbelievable, but this place is harassing. If you are not the perfect silence, then you are put in place.
At 23:11!!! , I got another text message that we disturb others. I didn't notice the message, so half an hour later she came upstairs and knocked!!! on our door!!! We didn't believe it whether we heard it well it was just so ridiculous but we decided not to open it as we were not dressed and it was a privacy time zone! But she kept knocking. Can you believe it??? How is it possible at all???? She said through the door to open it and we said no. She said through the door that we disturb others. We said it's not true as we didn't do...
... Continue : we were talking. No music on! The TV was very silent!!! She didn't even hear it standing in front of our door!
I think that if a property is not suitable having paper walls, it's not the guests' fualt! I heard her disturbing other guests as well, putting them in place. How does she dare????
She was arguing with us that we were loud and making noise. When we said it was not true, she said if we behave like this we will be removed. Pardon??? Behaving how??? Because??? We did what? We didn't even say any swear! We said it's a lie. And I was threatened to be removed from the property! Are they out of mind???? Very bad place, absolutely unsuitable for relaxing that we needed desperately!!! What if someone is snoring? Will they throw that person out? OMG!
I usually travel and sleep in hotels (!), not in a place like this one, but I NEVER WAS HARRASSED AT ALL! And as we heard others making noise, probably we were put in place instead of them. Or I have no idea what's going on there! I came here to relax because I need it, but this so-called guesthouse ruined it!
I attached another picture about the door. You literally need 2 hands to open it and to close it if you want to do it in an absolute quite way. But even if you use both of your hands, it is stuck a bit at its locker! It's such a struggle to close it with no noise!
This place is disgusting and disrespectful. They have no idea about hospitalizing at all.
We were lied about children. We know it was a lie because :
1. No kid without the typical kid noise and there wasn't any
2. Their TV was so loud that we could hear it but we are the disturbing noise?
At around 5 am., I needed the toilet but I didn't dare to leave the room. I suppose I was verbally abused that's why.
We went to another hotel but we still flinched and our stomachs lurched when we heard a noise outside our door. They ruined our holiday for relaxation. They should close that business.

The woman there was really lovely and made me and my son feel very welcome, also the bed was real comfy we slept all night through😁

Lindsey the owner is big dog fan and takes her time to put your pet and the owners at ease. It's relatively easy to find a parking space outside. Easy reach of the beaches, parks and major supermarkets.
