Very SPACIOUS modern comfortable top floor (2nd floor) two bed roomed modern apartment situated in the CENTRE OF the village of ZAHARA DE LOS ATUNES itself with all of its facilities (NOT Atlanterra where facilities are far fewer) on the beautiful unspoiled Costa de La Luz coastline which runs between Gibraltar and Portugal. The apartment has a REALLY IDEAL LOCATION being only a 2 minute walk from Zahara's stunningly beautiful golden sandy beach (7 kms long!) and the village itself with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants - where there is internet access. It has a SAFE AND QUIET LOCATION fronting as it does onto a PEDESTRIANISED AREA - a secure entry phone system is installed. There is EASY ACCESS BY LIFT to the top floor landing (2nd floor) which is VERY PRIVATE - ONLY 4 APARTMENTS are on this level. AIR CONDITIONING (lounge/diner) fans in bedrooms and central heating throughout are provided. The accommodation offers all the comforts of home as well as the convenience associated with modern living. Particular features of the apartment include an EXCEPTIONALLY LARGE SUNNY South/West facing terrace (30' x 11') which offers both sun and shade making it ideal for both sunbathing and eating outdoors. Part of the terrace is ROOFED OVER creating an OPEN AIR ROOM which allows you to eat lunch al fresco even with full sun. The terrace also has an OUTSIDE SHOWER for cooling off, washing sand off when you get back from the beach etc. The spacious lounge/diner and both (2) bedrooms ALL HAVE PATIO DOORS LEADING OUT out onto the LARGE TERRACE making the apartment bright sunny and airy throughout. Wonderful apartment -clean, bright & comfortable
I have stated at this lovely apartment about 3 years ago and I wanted to return again both to the apartment and to be in the heart of the village of Zahara. As with my previous visit I was not disappointed at all - the atico apartment is a really lovely place to just relax and enjoy everything in complete comfort. The property was so clean, bright and very comfortable and we spent time walking every day along the beautifully clean Zahara beach.
Visited the local market and bought some fresh fish and walked around the village, had some tapas at the local tapas bar and felt really like we had returned home.
Thank you to Patricia for your very efficient and prompt service when we enquired whether the apartment was free for a week to accommodate us in early June. We are so pleased we booked this apartment again and we will be back next year.

Perfect apartment in lovely Zahara
The apartment is lovely! very clean and spacious with absolutely everything needed for a holiday stay. A very accurate description too, of the property. The owners are lovely! They go out of their way to answer any questions or queries, and respond immediately. The information pack provided is so useful too, from restaurant reviews to a printed route from the airport! We loved the location- a 5 minute walk to both the beach and restaurants, and shops/bakeries for food. The beach is AMAZING and the restaurants were all so good. We would recommend wholeheartedly to friends and family and will be returning!

We had a wonderful stay in Zahara and we found the apartment not only very clean, tidy and comfortable but also it had all the amenities and facilities to make a good holiday. We couldn't think of any thing missing from the apartment that would have made our stay more enjoyable.

The apartment is spacious,comfortable, bright, airy and very clean and so convenient to both the beach ( literally just across the road) and the village with its tapas bars, restaurants and shops.
It is a good base if you want to drive around and see the area which is quite wonderful, very varied and extremely interesting.
We had a most comfortable and relaxing 2 weeks staying at Arethusa Luz and we have every intention to return very soon.

It is a good base if you want to drive around and see the area which is quite wonderful, very varied and extremely interesting.

Unas vacaciones de cine
Somos una pareja con dos hijas pequeñas que pasamos una semana maravillosa en Zahara en julio de 2012.
Si no conocéis Zahara encontraréis una playa largísima (15 km) de arena fina que se ha librado de la burbuja inmobiliaria española ya que está en su mayor parte sin edificar. El pueblo no es que sea una preciosidad pero hay un montón de sitios donde se come de maravilla.
El piso está muy bien y es tal como se describe en el anuncio: dos habitaciones grandes con un baño y un aseo, la cocina totalmente equipada, un salón/comedor grande y una terraza espectacular para tomar el sol y cenar.
Nos lo encontramos muy limpio a nuestra llegada y, aunque no tiene piscina, no se echa en falta pues basta cruzar la calle para llegar a la playa.
El piso está en una calle peatonal con lo que es tranquilo, se duerme muy bien y está muy cerca del Dia y del mercado de Zahara.

We flew into Malaga because we have relatives in the area and we flew back from Gibraltar both were easyjet flights. The journey from Malaga took us under one and a half hours and the trip back from Gibraltar was an easy 45 minute drive.
We spent most of our time in Zahara because we had such good weather, however Zahara is a good base to explore further a field to Vejer, Cadiz, Cordoba,Seville and even Portugal.
We had a really nice stay - thank you Patricia for making things so easy for us.

The apartment is very well equipped throughout with a good selection of music, DVD's plus comprehensive kitchen equipment.

We have discovered that the Costa de la Luz is the coastline of choice for the Spanish, which means that everything feels and is authentic, we think this area has to be one of Spain's best kept secrets and now that we have found it, we hope it stays this way!
We are looking forward to coming back as soon as we can.

We had a lovely time at the apartment. The only hitch was that the previous tennant had apparently left the heat on and one morning we woke up to a strangely hot wall (it took us a while to figure out that it was because of the thermostat), but it wasn't a problem so much as a mystery.
Everything else was absolutely perfect and I've already recommended both the town and the apartment to several friends and colleagues. The apartment is very close to the ocean and a five minute walk from the historic town center, which has decent shopping and great restaurants.
For those who enjoy cooking, it's very well equipped for a beach rental and just around the corner from several supermarkets and two gourmet stores, as well as just about 5 blocks away from the village market. We ate at least one meal at home every day just in order to enjoy the amazing fresh fish and produce that beckoned from the market.
Patricia was sure to send us lots of great information about Zahara before we got there and there's also an extremely helpful binder in the apartment containing brochures, maps, advice, restaurant reviews, bird watching spots, etc... so you can really take advantage of your stay.
We especially enjoyed the covered part of the terrace, which allowed us to eat lunch al fresco even with full sun!
All in all we have absolutely no complaints and recommend this apartment to anyone looking to spend a relaxing week in Zahara.

We found the apartment to be peaceful and quiet and provided everything we expected and much more. It is well furnished and equipped, with good proportions throughout, including a completely self contained kitchen with all usual mod cons. As a family of 4, we really appreciated having an additional washroom with w.c. as well as a full bathroom. We particularly liked the aspect of having sliding patio doors in each of the bedrooms, and lounge dining area which all opened up onto the large, roomy terrace where we ate and enjoyed the sun.
The satellite T.V. has British television and radio and there is a selection of D.V.D’s and C.D’s for both adults and children, also lots of books to read.
Zahara’s white sandy beach is seemingly endless, absolutely wonderful, and literally just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment – the location could not be better we made good use of the beach chairs!! We ate out at some great restaurants right on the beach front, if you like fish this is the place for you! The village of Zahara is also on the doorstep with shops, an indoor market, etc also an ice cream shop with internet !
The whole booking process was easy and efficient as was arriving in Zahara and picking up the keys to the apartment.
We would recommend this apartment to anyone who is in search of a relaxing holiday and easy place to be, in ' Real Spain'.

Gute Wohnung 60 m² in Zahahra
Das Appartment ist gut eingerichtet, nicht luxuriös. Allerdings sind die Angaben im Wohnungsangebot nur teilweise richtig. Die Größenangaben sind falsch. Das Appartment hat ca. 60 m² Wohnfläche und ca. 30 m² Terrasse! Klimaanlage ist nur im Wohnzimmer vorhanden, ansonsten sind noch 2 Ventilatoren da.
Das Appartment befindet sich in einem Haus mit 4 Eingängen u. ca. 60 Wohnungen in 2 Stockwerken.
Die Wohnung ist freundlich und ruhig, sofern die anderen Apartments nicht belegt sind. Der Neubau ist ziemlich hellhörig.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Sahara, das Apartment ist sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein Vorortservice rund um das Apartment ist vorhanden.

We cannot praise the apartment and the location enough.
Having arrived after only an hours drive from Gibralter, via Easy Jet, we found the apartment easily. It was clean, spacious, and very well furnished and equipped. Being away from noisy traffic made sunbathing on the large south west facing terrace, (on luxurious sunbeds) a lovely peaceful experience. We were also able to eat out on the terrace in either sun or shade.
The superb white sand beach is a few minutes walk away (beach chairs provided) also the apartment is situated in the village of Zahara itself. The latter offers shops, a lovely local market, selling fresh fish and a number of very good restaurants ,a couple of which overlook the Atlantic ocean. Several times we went out for breakfast, and a lingering memory is the wonderful bread, served with equally good coffee!
We explored the hinterland and discovered amongst others, Seville and Cadiz. Both steeped in history and stunningly beautiful. Next time we visit, we plan to go across to North Africa from Tarifa which is a short drive from Zahara.
We definitely intend to return to this part of Spain, which is so beautiful and interesting ˆ and specifically to this lovely apartment which we feel offers very good value for money.

We explored the hinterland and discovered amongst others, Seville and Cadiz. Both steeped in history and stunningly beautiful. Next time we visit, we plan to go across to North Africa from Tarifa which is a short drive from Zahara.
We definitely intend to return to this part of Spain, which is so beautiful and interesting ˆ and specifically to this lovely apartment which we feel offers very good value for money.
