Key Largo gem on the water with a little slice of heaven!!!
About this house rental
Located in Key Largo, this attractive house for R 4,500 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. New waterfront CBS home on a beautiful 200 ft wide basin (not a canal) with immediate access to the bay. Mature landscaping and an 80 pier dock into the basin allows you to either enjoy sunbathing, fishing, or just watch the manatees just a few feet away at no cost to you (the basin is visited by tourists everyday just to see the manatees). You can also dock your boat during your stay (very few homes have a dock this size). After a day of fishing you might want to come home, have a relaxing rest of the day, and grill your fish on the barbecue provided (a fish cleaning station located on the dock). While you are waiting for that BBQ, you can enjoy a game of dominoes (dominoes and domino table available) or just enjoy the breeze from the patio. In the evening you can sit by the fire pit and have a glass of wine while enjoying a tranquil tropical setting. Wake up after a nice restful night and have breakfast on the balcony while watching rolling tarpons, manatees, and the sunrise. Custom finishes in this coastal themed decorated keys home include IMPACT windows and doors (for your security), granite gourmet kitchen with nickel finishes, SS appliances, hardwood maple and cherry cabinets and porcelain tiled floors throughout the house. A 50 inch flat screen TV in the living room area and additional flat screen TVs in all the bedrooms. We are centrally located near a variety of dining venues, markets, and shopping. The neighborhood is bike friendly and there are various locations nearby where you can rent jetskis, bikes, etc. I will provide you with a list of restaurants, places to go, and places that you can trust to rent bikes and/or water toys. Please note that a lot of homes are not on the water and pictures might be deceiving. This home is not a canal-front property, it is a basin-front property. Therefore, your view is not the neighbor's backyard. ****Once reservation is accepted, contract will be emailed with updated information such as guest's name, check in/check out dates, and rates. Guest must review, initial, sign, and return to owner.

This home is the perfect rental for the Florida Keys. Centrally located in Key Largo, this lot sits in a basin with easy access to the Bay for a day of boating. It was so nice to wake up every morning to a beautiful view. The house is immaculately kept. It is roomy and cozy for a family to stay. The owner is very nice, informative and quick to respond to any questions. We stayed here for an entire month and I highly recommend staying at this property.

We had a wonderful time with family and friends. We enjoyed boating and fishing as much as the winds would allow. The home is very nice and clean and sits at the end of a very wide lagoon. During our stay we were lucky enough to see several manatees and lots of tarpon. The home was comfortable for two couples and kids as there is 1 full size bed, bunk beds, and a king size bed in the master bedroom. We found the neighborhood to be very relaxing and the few neighbors were very friendly. We were here for 6 weeks and have no complaints, only a suggestion for more bath towels, coffee mugs, and silverware. We understand that things get broken or go missing and the owners may not have been aware that there were only 3 coffee mugs. This did not take away from our stay. The hosts were very responsive to any of our needs and a pleasure to talk to. We would rent again as well as recommending this home to family and friends.

The location is perfectly quiet and far enough away from the highway to not be bothered at all. The boat dock is nice to get on or in the water and I couldnt stop watching all the manatees around almost every day.
A perfect hangout close to all you need. I enjoyed my time there and I would come back anytime.

Perfect serenity
We loved our time here! The setting is the best, it is located on an inlet facing out to the bay with a huge private dock in front, where manatees play and hang out all day. Best family kayaking, we saw baby sharks, stingrays, dolphins, manatees and loads of fish, kayaking out to the little island that sits in the bay out the front of the house. At the island there are pelicans and all sorts of birds and bright orange iguanas. My kids loved it all!
The house was perfect for us and had everything we needed, and the owners were beyond helpful with any requests or questions we had during our 2 months stay.
Sad to leave!!! Highly recommend...

Beautiful house! Felt right at home. Beautiful views and awesome amenities. Water is very safe to swim in... we went in everyday. Saw manatees all the time... they are very friendly. Spent so much time outside... fishing off the dock, going in the water, kayaking, just hanging out on the back patio and etc. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back.

Best Canal Front Home
This house has the widest dock in that canal. The kids swam, kayaked, paddle boarded, & fished. Lots of sea life in the canal. Manatees, Fish, Dolphins, Sting Rays, & Barracuda. This will be one of many visits to this fully stocked house. 10 Thumbs UP!

Great memories, hope to return!
Over the past 20+ years, we have rented dozens of homes for both short and long terms. As previously stated in the other reviews, this was one of the most comfortable homes we have yet to find, both indoors and outdoors. We originally rented for 2 months – Feb. and March – and as with all long-term rentals that we have had, there were items that we wanted that were not available. But with only a couple exceptions, the owner accommodated our requests promptly and happily and that is not always the case at all. Again, I won’t expand on previous reviews much as they cover the wildlife and the view quite well. (Though I will say that in mid-Feb. there were 13 manatees at the same time in the basin and that was awesome and we were there long enough to know by sight many of them and even were treated to 2 babies during our stay.) I will also add that the local neighbors were great and that is also not always the case with renting. They were an added bonus, especially once the COVID virus started hitting.
My review is going to focus on one thing – the owner. When the virus hit, Monroe County issued a decree on March 20th that all visitors renting in the Keys had to leave when their contracts were up. We had rented through April 4th, , but had already made an agreement to extend our contract through early May or June because of the virus. When this mandate came down, the owner went to bat with the County and the Keys Council to grant an exception for us. My partner has a serious medical condition and we were very concerned about travelling. Despite all her efforts and the documentation that we and she had provided at their request, the “powers that be” were everything one hates about bureaucracy and they would not budge.
So, we arranged for the equipment that he needs to be delivered to the hotels we were planning to stay at on our way home. On the morning of April 3rd, we were informed that the equipment was no longer available due to all of the stay-at-home orders and increased demand. To say that the owner again took on City Hall would be an understatement. That same afternoon, at 3pm, we got a call from the County Zoning Office telling us that we had been granted an exception and could stay as long as needed!
If you are looking for a comfortable home with an awesome view and manatees, dolphins, tarpon, iguanas, heron, peacocks, etc etc AND an owner that has your comfort and interests in mind throughout your stay, this is the place.

Key Largo Gem!
The house was in immaculate, brand new condition, well stocked kitchen, if you plan to cook some meals. The view and the “nature preserve” in the back yard are such a peaceful way to enjoy your coffee in the morning. Kayaked with and enjoyed watching the manatees hang out in the lagoon behind the house! All kinds of birds to see and hear, in the area. Loons, peacocks!, male/female cardinal visited each day along with some iguanas and other water animal surprises through out the day. Nice shade on the back deck, so you never got to hot hanging out there. There were many great restaurants in the area listed by the owner. Some with awesome sunset views and vibes, others just good food to start the day. Great place to easily get to John Pennycamp State park, which has fantastic snorkeling trips. As beautiful as the great barrier reef! Nice bike rental place just north of the state park, All Keys Bikes, also listed by the owner. Bikes are well maintained and the store is very easy to work with. Also easy to explore Islamorada and it’s great sunset areas. Key West is not a bad day trip. All in all a wonderful vacation home and experience!

Beautiful
We really enjoyed staying in this property. It was right at the end of a canal. The Manatees kept my father in law intrigued. Easy access to good restaurants and was very well stocked for living life here. The only suggestion I would have is to add a handrail in the walk-in shower and rugs that have the non slip bottom on them. My father in law is part disabled and doesn’t have good use of his right side and these 2 things would have made it perfect. The owners hospitality and attention to detail and quickly answered all my questions. We loved it here!
