Nestled in Canton of Valais, this lovely chalet for R 4,650 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. CHALET AVANTGARDE is a decidedly modern design, exclusive holiday home and we promise the guests a first-class experience! The view from the chalet goes directly to 9 four-thousand mountains in 3 mountain ranges. The chalet is classified with 4 STARS by the Swiss Tourism Federation. HOUSE: With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms ideal for 4 people. Possible up to 6 people with extra beds. Upstairs large living-dining area, 3.50 m high and with floor to ceiling panoramic windows to the south. See floorplans and photos. You will be surprised by the very exclusive interior design! The house is located above the village Törbel on the small road to the Moosalp. SPRING / SUMMER / AUTUMN: The time from late March to early May is characterized by the melting snow, on clear days, it is very beautiful, but there is no fresh green growing = a quiet time. From the beginning of May, the spring awakens with power. Around 20th June cows-move to the alp with additional cow fight. At beginning of July the alpine meadow around the house is mowed, enjoy until then the sea of flowers. On the Moosalp, a nationally known hiking paradise, regularly locally embossed festivals are celebrated in August. Late summer beginns with the cows move down from the alp approx 10th Sept. The cows are then in the meadows around the chalet, so you can enjoy the sound of the bells. From 20th September to early October rut of the deers located below the 'Moosalp-Bannwald' with impressive tubes. From mid-October the open larch forest is colored gold - a colourfull impression which is hardly incredible in its intensity! The highlight of the clenched luminosity comes from the 20th October to 10th November. From November to Christmas very quiet, in good weather very clear day with the best view of the now snowy mountains. WINTER: The season in the ski area of Moosalp / Bürchen (9 lifts until 2 550 m) is open from Christmas until 20th March. The ski area is accessible 1 000 m from the chalet, sometimes also runs a ski bus. Ski passes are priced low and there is also the possibility of scorecards. Big ski resorts in the vicinity: Grächen, Saas Grund each 30 minutes driving time, Saas Fee 35 min and Zermatt 1 hour. ARCHITECTURE: The exterior design is based on the local chalet style, but solubilisation of all heavy, but the principle of visual lightness has set itself the goal. The dedicated lightness comes in convincing detail solutions repeatedly expressed. The interior is characterized by a both exclusive and explicitly modern-sounding, native larch. ARRIVAL: Saturdays. LAST MINUTE: If the chalet is not booked 14 days before the usual start of the rental period (=Saturday), there is a 30% discount, for 7 days in advance there is a 40% discount. COMPLETE PRICE with CLEANING: the price quoted is always a complete price including eg. heating, electricity, towels, bed linen, and 'Kurtaxe'. During the season (Christmas to mid-March and early June to late October) a bus directly to the chalet.

Our stay was great. The view is so spectacular and it was hard to do anything but look out at the mountains. The whole home was very accommodating and easy to find. We were there as some construction was starting on a new home just below the chalet. It did not bother us at all while work was being done. We are looking forward to coming back. So ein schöner Urlaub
Noch Tage nach der Heimreise wirken unsere Eindrücke vom Chalet Avantgarde samt Drumherum nach. Was für eine wunderbare Unterkunft mit spektakulärer Aussicht, in der auch noch Hundebegleitung gestattet ist. Schon beim ersten Betreten des großen Wohn-Essraumes verschlug es uns die Sprache. Man denkt, man gewöhnt sich dran, aber weit gefehlt, nach jeder Rückkehr von unseren Touren in die grandiose Umgebung mit Wanderwegen vom Feinsten, war man wieder auf dem ich-kann-mich-garnicht-sattsehen-Trip. Selbst beim abendlichen Kochen spiegelte sich das Panorama in der bestens ausgestatteten Hochglanzküche.
Alles im und ums Chalet herum war bestens - wir haben die Woche in vollen Zügen genossen. Über das Soundsystem mitsamt gigantischem Bildschirm haben unsere Vorgänger sich ja schon ausführlich ausgelassen, wir können uns den Lobeshymnen hier nur anschließen. Brauchen wir zwar nicht zwingend für einen Urlaub, war aber trotzdem ein schöner Luxus, das gebe ich zu.
Für mich ist die Schweiz das aller schönste Alpenland - wenn man dann noch auf überall freundliche und zugewandte Menschen trifft - allen voran Herrn Hatzfeld als Vermieter, der völlig unkompliziert und "gechillt" im Umgang ist und mit tollen Ausflugstipps und -Events aufwarten kann - um so besser.

Ideal für eine echte Auszeit, gern auch mit Hund
Das Objekt entspricht exakt den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Perfekt für einen Urlaub abseits des Trubels. In der Umgebung wohnen fast ausschließlich Einheimische, man ist also mitten im Schweizer Bergleben.Der Ausblick ist sensationell direkt auf die Schweizer Alpen wie auf den Fotos. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig etwas Abseits einer sehr wenig befahrenen Pass-strasse. Die Aussstattung ist ebenfalls perfekt...insgesamt fehlt es an nichts, sogar eine Garage ist vorhanden. Für Hundebesitzer liegt das Haus unmittelbar im Wandergebiet rund um die Moosalp, diese kann man in ca. 30 Min zu Fuß erreichen. Lohnenswert ist auch eine Wanderung von Täsch nach Zermatt am Matterhorn. Check-in & out waren sehr unkompliziert genau zur vereinbarten Zeit.
Das Klima Anfang Juni war sehr angenehm für ausgiebige Wanderungen mit unserem Hund.

Perfektes Chalet mit traumhafter Aussicht
Wir haben zwei wundervolle Urlaubswochen in diesem traumhaften Chalet verbracht. Das Chalet ist sehr sauber, hochwertig, modern, geschmackvoll und mit allem was man benötigt ausgestattet. Die Lage und der Ausblick nach allen Seiten ist einfach unbeschreiblich schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Die Kommunikation mit Herrn Hatzfeldt, sowohl vor, als auch während unseres Urlaubs war immer sehr schnell und unkompliziert.
Besonders empfehlen können wir auch das Restaurant Weisshorn in Törbel. Das Essen und der Service sind sehr gut. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr, sehr nett.
Auch für unseren Hund war es traumhaft schön. Sie hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt und war auch in allen Restaurants herzlich willkommen.
Wir können das Chalet und die traumhafte Lage nur weiterempfehlen und werden gerne wieder kommen.

Geschmackvolles Chalet in traumhafter Lage!
Das Chalet ist geschmackvoll und hochwertig ausgestattet, sauber und gepflegt. Der Wohnbereich ist sehr grosszügig, hell und offen gestaltet.
Sehr sonnige Lage. Mittlerweile steht das Chalet nicht mehr ganz alleine auf einer Almwiese. Auf der Bergseite werden gerade zwei neue Chalet fertiggestellt. Der Rundumblick ist jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt und wirklich atemberaubend!
Das Chalet liegt wenige Autominuten von der (roten) Skipiste entfernt. Zu beachten ist, dass der Anfängerhang auf der anderen Bergseite in Bürchen liegt. Da die blaue Abfahrt nach Bürchen wegen Schneemangel geschlossen war, sind wir mit unseren Kindern (Vorschulalter) mit dem Auto nach Büchen gefahren (40 Minuten).
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und haben schon für nächstes Jahr gebucht! S.M.

Mit Worten nur schwer zu beschreiben...
Das Chalet ist nicht nur bis ins letzte Detail durchdacht, sondern in seiner geradlinigen und eleganten Erscheinung, sowohl außen als auch innen, einfach nur eine Augenweide. Das Haus strahlt eine Leichtigkeit aus, welche einem im oberen Geschoss den Eindruck vermittelt, inmitten der Bergwelt zu sitzen. Der Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge ist einfach nur fantastisch. Man könnte die Tage einfach nur auf dem Balkon verbingen, wären da nicht die nahe gelegenen Ausflugsziele wie Zermatt und der Aletschgletscher, die einen aus dem Haus locken. Auch die Ausstattung des Chalets ist erstklassig, wobei wir besonders die Heimkinoanlage mit den professionellen Studiomonitoren hervorheben möchten. Als Musikliebhaber fühlt man sich gleich wie zu Hause. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr freundlich und er stand für Rückfragen stets zur Verfügung.

Rust op het dak van de wereld!
De chalet heeft alles wat nodig is. Functionele keuken, dubbele badkamer, top boeken- en filmbibliotheek. De gastheer is steeds bereikbaar en supervriendelijk. Ideaal voor een get-away van het hectische leven in het ongelooflijk prachtig natuurgebied en wandelparadijs Wallis. Een aanrader!

Designer Chalet in hochalpiner Bergwelt
Modernes Designer Chalet umgeben von alten Walliser Chalets und 4000er Berggipfeln. Die direkte Zufahrtsstraße über Stalden ist etwas abenteuerlich, aber es gibt eine zwar weitere aber dafür weniger dramatische Anfahrt über Bürchen. Der Blick auf das Mischabelmassiv, Weisshorn und Kleinmatterhorn ist atemberaubend. Tagesausflüge nach Saas-Fee und Zermatt sind kein Problem. Das Chalet ist sehr modern ausgestattet inklusive einer High End Hifi- und Videoanlage und einer hervorragenden Bibliothek aus Büchern (Schwerpunkt Bergwelt und Architektur) und CDs/DVDs. Die Kommunikation mit dem sehr freundlichen Vermieter verlief schnell und problemlos. Prädikat empfehlenswert.

War alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit.
Alles tip top. Eventuell etwas weit weg vom nächsten Dorf. Man muss also dringend ein Auto haben, da auch der ÖV im Frühling nicht fährt. Aber dafür wunderschöne Weitsicht in die Berge.

Törbel ist Schweiz von oben
Liebe Ferienhausfreunde,
unser Anspruch ist, einen unvergesslichen Urlaub zu genießen. Dieser Anspruch wurde im Haus Chalet Avantgarde Törbel zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit erfüllt. Bereits die Anreise über die Serpentinen ist für geübte Fahrer eine Freude. Überraschend ist die großartige 180 Grad Aussicht aus dem Obergeschoss des Chalets, welches sich nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit nochmalig steigert. Der Name des Chalets „Avantgarde“ ist treffend. Designter Purismus begegnet Tradition und Luxus. Idealer Weise finden bis zu 4 Personen eine hervorragende gut ausgestattete Unterkunft vor. Im Untergeschoss befinden sich zwei Schlafzimmer, welche sehr gut Schallisoliert sind. Ebenso zwei Bäder. Dieses ist sehr praktisch und angenehm. Das Obergeschoss besteht aus einem Raum, welcher Ruhe und Geborgenheit ausstrahlt. Es ist alles sehr harmonisch abgestimmt.
Unser erster Ausflug gingen zu Fuß zur Moos Alp, welches als ungeübte Wanderer gut zu schaffen ist. Eine vorherige Reservierung im ausgezeichnetem Restaurant ist zumindest zu Mittag notwendig. Von dort aus ist eine leichte Wanderung zum Bergsee und Aussichtspunkt zu empfehlen. Einfach großartig und schön.
Als erlebnisreiche Nahziele sind die beiden Täler nach Saas Fee und Zermatt einfach prima gelegen. Der Staudamm am Ende des Tales von Saas Fee kann mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Der Anblick der Wasserfälle und Bergwelt ist einmalig. Das andere Tal führt zum Matterhorn über Zermatt. Beides zu sehen lohnt sich auch wirklich. Die Anreise erfolgt zunächst mit dem Auto über die Serpentinen, welche bei den Beifahrern leichte Magenverstimmungen auslösen können. Ein Parkhaus steht unmittelbar zum Umsteigen in die Bahn von Täsch nach Zermatt bereit. Die Fahrkarte bis zum Gornergrat kann dort gekauft werden. Aktuell gibt es Rabatte, welche an bestimmte Geburtstagsmonate gekoppelt sind. Ab Zermatt geht es dann weiter mit der Zahnradbahn, bis ganz hinauf. Ein Bummel durch Zermatt hinterlässt im Anschluss ein schmunzeln, bevor es mit der Bahn wieder zurück zum Parkhaus geht.
In Embd gibt es eine etwas andere Art von Seilbahn, welche Tags immer zur vollen Stunde fährt. Der Parkplatz ist dort frei. Einfach einmal mit hochfahren und den Weg über die Erlebniswelt hinunterlaufen. Wir sind jedoch oben bis über die Baumgrenze gewandert und später wieder hinuntergefahren. Das war leider unser letzter Tag und damit auch der letzte Eindruck, gleichwohl einer der schönsten Orte.

In dem Chalet fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Es ist modern und doch gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch an Regentagen wird es einem nicht langweilig.

Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt! Man findet dort eine grosszügige und umfassende Ausstattung, einen sehr gemütlichen, hellen und offenen Wohnraum zum Entspannen im Chalet, alles in sehr gutem Zustand, schnelle Kommunikation bei Fragen und natürlich eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Außergewöhnliches Chalet
Das Chalet war genau so, wie im Internet beschrieben - ein wunderschöner Ausblick in alle Richtungen, eine sehr hochwertige Einrichtung und eine ruhige Lage. Ungewöhnlich für ein Mietchalet war die HighEnd Musikanlage und ein riesiger Fernseher mit entsprechender Auswahl an CDs und Blu-rays. Außerdem gab es eine mehr als ausreichende Auswahl an Wanderkarten und eine schöne Bibliothek. Die "großen" Ausflugsziele wie Zermatt, Saas-Fee und Aletsch sind alle relativ schnell erreichbar. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns jedoch das weitgehend intakte Lötschental mit seinem wunderschönen Talschluss und nicht allzu steilen Wegen.
Insgesamt eine eindrucksvolle Woche in einem wunderschönen Chalet (danke auch für die ausführliche und sehr interessante Baudokumentation) für einen mehr als fairen Preis und die Möglichkeit, seinen Vierbeiner mitzubringen.

Wundervolles Haus in beeindruckendem Bergpanorama
Das Ferienhaus ist sehr hochwertig Ausgestattet. Durch das geschmackvolle und aufwändig Design integriert sich dieses Haus perfekt in die überwältigende Natur. Mit viel liebe zum Detail wurde hier etwas ganz besonderes erschaffen. Sehr netter und aufmerksamer Vermieter, der auf alle Anfragen schnell reagiert. Mit Hilfe der im Haus befindlichen, sehr umfangreichen Bücher- u. Kartensammlung, konnten wir unsere Wandertouren gut planen. Rund um die nur 5 Autominuten entfernte Moosalm finden sich sehr schöne, einfache und anspruchsvolle Wanderwege und Restaurants. Zermatt, Saas Fee und Aletschgletscher sind schnell erreicht. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir hatten Sonne pur
Gestaltung, Ausstattung und Lage des Chalet Avantgarde sind Garant für einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub. Alle positiven Bewertungen sowie die Objektbeschreibung treffen absolut zu. Auch bei Temperaturen über 30 Grad war es nicht zu heiß, weil der Dachüberstand die Südsonne abhält. Wir haben tagsüber die Aussicht, abends die herausragende Video-/Audioanlage und nachts den Sternenhimmel genossen. Die Umgebung ist für Wanderungen wie für Cabriotouren bestens geeignet. Cabrio-/Oldtimerfahrer freuen sich besonders über die zum Chalet gehörende geschlossene Einzelgarage.

Wir haben zum zweiten mal das Chalet Avantgarde für eine Woche Wanderurlaub gebucht und waren erneut begeistert von dem Haus, der ruhigen Umgebung und dem beeindruckenden Ausblick auf die Berge. Zum Abschalten und Erholen der ideale Ort.

Wonderful chalet and amazing panoramic views !!!!
We loved this chalet and it's amazing views. The chalet itself was impressive and well outfitted. The owner was very helpful and the process for the rental and check in was handled well. The chalet document provided by the owner was very detailed both about the chalet and the surrounding area which we found very useful. In the evenings, we enjoyed the big cinema screen and large DVD selection for concerts and movies. We enjoyed many hikes at Moosalp, just a short 10 minute drive from the chalet, as recommended by the owner. The mountain roads to get to the chalet are a bit tricky but we managed. My only small suggestion would be that actual GPS co-ordinates for the exact location of the chalet be provided. They would be useful as our GPS sent us over Moosalp and down to the area of the chalet, so it was a bit more difficult for us to find. We asked in the village but language was an issue. The owner helped when we called and we were able to find the chalet in the end. We would definitely stay here again !!!

Dream-like mountain holiday - totally loved it.
Surely one of the best holidays we have had in a long time!
For Londoners the road to get to Törbel might be a bit of a challenge to begin with, but once we arrived, everything was way better than ever imagined. Amazing house, unique views, the way everything worked, the equipment - blankets, kitchen stuff etc. - everything is just there and a total joy. Our dog loved it too.
Great location for going hiking, we loved the Moosalp and its kitchen, and again - whatever you would need like walking maps or guides on restaurants or some background about the Vallais, it's all there.
Incredible responsiveness from the owner of the house, who we met coincidentally at our early arrival - we felt totally looked after throughout our stay, very very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.
We'll be back!

The road towards the house is already a sensation, especially in case your are new to Swiss mountain roads. We had the best time in our live visiting the Chalet Avantgarde and every word about it is true.
