Breakfasts could be more varied.

Breakfast was good but the same every day, we stayed 6 days. The location is good also because it’s walk distance from ski lift. Alexandra from front desk was very nice and helped us with any questions, directions and passport that my friend forgot in the room.

Customer Service and price. Only one out of all staff from front desk was nice: Alexandra, everyone else was not helpful and were rude. First night when arrived I was told it will be a small charge 10-20 extra Swiss francs for second person for breakfast, normally it’s 30 he said. I accidentally booked for 1 person and the guy asked me to see the room if it’s ok for 2 people otherwise he could change the room to a bigger room and bed and charge me extra. We looked at the room and were happy to stay, kept the same room, we did not change the room, it was a small room but with 2 small beds. At the end when check out I was charged for the second person anyways! I was presented a bill I didn’t agree, it was an extra over $435.80( in US dollars), for what? for 5 days breakfast or for a couple of extra sheets for second person? I agree to pay for second person’s breakfast but nothing else, they did not give us a larger room, this is totally unfair! And when I addressed this issue to the manager he was very rude and said this is only my opinion and he doesn’t care about me leaving a bad review! Well if you don’t care about my opinion then you don’t care about your customers and the stay is just ridiculously overpriced! I did not agree to pay the extra charge and asking now for the $300 to be reimbursed as soon as possible. This is a rip off and the owner should be aware of his staff that is not properly trained and rude. You can not promise one thing and then not honoring your word, I was told totally different at the check in and totally different at check out! This simply unprofessional! Very disappointed! Will never come back and not recommended. It is taking advantage of American tourists or tourists in general! Never experienced anything like that anywhere and I travel a lot!

The breakfast was quite nice. Typical European breakfast but with a lot of choices. The view from my room was spectacular. I can directly see the Matterhorn from the balcony. It is exactly the same as the photo from booking.com. The location was great as well. It was a mere 5-min walk from the train station, with a bakery on the way. The hotel staff was very helpful in helping me make calls as well.

One thing to criticize would be the bathtub, water can spill out easily and wet the bathroom floor. But it was just a tiny problem compared to the overall service and the room.

I wanted to visit Zermatt for a while. This hotel made our experience better.

The staff is very kind, the location is excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, we really like the decoration of the place.

The breakfast could be improved, I missed having slices of cheese for sandwiches.

The room was clean and tidy. It had everything needed in a hotel room. The view of Matterhorn from the room’s balcony was spectacular. The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed my stay a lot.
