This apartment is located in a historic building (stairs!) and is beautifully furnished. The kitchen has very good appliances (but no coffeemaker, just a French press) and a gas range. The master bedroom faces the back courtyard and is quiet while the children's bedroom face the street and despite the double windows are a lot more noisy and also never totally dark. The house has original wooden staircases, floors and doors, which are very beautiful but also mean you can hear the other people moving around the house. During our stay, some of the electrical outlets did not work, which meant that we first couldn't use the wifi. But the proprietors helped to troubleshoot on a Sunday night for which we were very grateful. Due to the central location, a lot of sights are within walking distance and the beautiful King's Garden is just around the corner. However, if you want to use public transportation, be aware that the apartment is located between two larger stations and you will have to walk a couple of minutes to reach the next Metro. We particularly enjoyed the number of bakeries, eateries and smaller shops in the neighbourhood.

This was a perfect location. Next to the King's Park. Close to the harbor and walking street. Plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. The street side can get noisy on the weekend. The bedroom on the courtyard side is quiet. Lovely apartment with great amenities. Would highly recommend.

Best for two adults who are partners or married and 2 children. Must climb to get to beds up high.

We loved our time in Copenhagen and this apartment. We even had the pleasure of meeting Stig when we blew a fuse on first night (promptly addressed). Was great having ability to wash clothes, supermarket & train station close by. Thanks so much for having us

Great location, close to everything.
Host and managing team was prompt with everything.
We enjoyed our stay!
It can get loud and noisy during weekend nights but it didn’t bother us much.

The only downfall to this lovely, central, historic, apartment is the stairs! But definitely worth the climb with our bags :-)

pros:
- very well located in the city center
- clean and cosy appartement in a historic building (note: in the 2nd floor, no elevator)
- the appartement is nicely and stylishly furnished
- (parents') bedroom (with king-size bed) is very calm
cons:
- the windows have the beauty of the old ages. This means as well that they are single glazed and thus poorly isolated against noise and heat (summer 2018).
- the house is located next to a busy street. Thus, because of the simply glazed windows the living room was a very noisy place. In the night it was ok.
- there was no coffee machine (or coffee-making tools) in the kitchen
- there are no curtains or sun-blinds

Charming, bright flat in the beautiful heart of Kopenhagen. We loved the atmosphere of the old house and the historic district near the historic harbor and the Kongens Have.

This apartment was in the perfect spot for us. In addition, it was extremely comfortable. The only downside was the shower drain which didn't work well, but was not a major problem.
We would come back again to this apartment.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The apartment is roomy and convenient to tourist attractions and public transportation. However, the charming street gets really loud every night for several hours. Most of the noise is drunks whooping and singing and motorcycles gunning their engines. We were thankful that we brought earplugs. I would absolutely stay here again, but if you are looking for a quiet nights sleep, this is not the place for you.

The apartment was conveniently located to many tourist sites and mass transit. It was well appointed and had plenty of space. The staff at AIC was great with check in and answering questions as we prepared for our trip.
One downside is that the apartment is located on a street with several bars nearby. For us, this meant extremely loud bar patrons shouting and singing and gunning their motorcycle engines nightly from about midnight until 4 in the morning. If you want a quiet night's sleep, you may want to look for a different apartment.

Amazing location and great for a stay with our two 3 1/2 year olds. The bunk bed rooms were perfect for a cozy sleep and play, and the hosts left it in a very welcoming condition our children loved

Excellent location - around the corner from Rosenborg Castle and 5 min walk from Nyhavn and the Stroget.
Wonderful to have 3 bedrooms so each of our kids had their own space.
Only thing I would point out is that it is a very noisy area because of the bars/clubs so ear plugs come in handy. And there are only sheers in front of the windows for privacy which do nothing to block out any light so if you're used to sleeping in a dark room, bring a sleeping mask.
Would definitely stay there again!

The location is just at the center of everything!
The apartment is very nice especially for a family. Two nice rooms for kids and a bedroom.
The apartment is not big but has all one may need.

We stayed here for 5 nights in August, 2 adults & 2 children. Everything you need and more! Good access to the metro, town centre and Nyhaven. Rosenborg Slot Park next door is superb.
The facilities in the apartment were superb - the kids loved the bedrooms.
There is some noise from the street below, but this is to be expected in a city centre location.

We were all pleased with apartment and found nearly all the prior comments to be accurate. The apartment was very hyggelig (an excellent Danish concept) but had it quirks, as any home does. But the written information was always helpful. It is located on what would be the second floor in the US so be prepared to climb when you go in and out.
Yes, it was noisy for my adult children sleeping in the two front lofts (plenty of room) but the location is superb. City Center Copenhagen is so walkable and this was the place to start.
I cannot speak highly enough of the agency, Apartment in Copenhagen. They communicated frequently and clearly and were very helpful getting us into the apartment early after a tiring overnight flight.

This is a great apt in the center of the city, next to the Kings Garden which becomes your own backyard.
Within a few blocks towards Nyhaven & Amalienborg, there are 4 bakeries and coffee takeaways to put together breakfast each morning.
Aldi's downstairs was a little disappointing, head towards the Fatka supermarket on Store Kongensgade instead.
There is also a convenient bike rental just around the corner on Aldelgade past the youth hostel, I strongly recommend using bikes to get around the city, you'll see so much more.
The location is excellent for first time visitors. It's a straight shot down to Noerreport station and Norrebro district.
About the noise everyone mentions:
The 2 kids rooms (big beds!) which are on each end of the living room, are facing the front, overlooking the street.
During the summer, there is a lot of partying in the streets below from the bars nearby and the hostel.
People were hootin' & hollering every night til maybe 4am.
The parent's room is in the back, relatively shielded from the street noise.
Unless, there is a party in the rear courtyard. The Danes love the outdoors in summer till all hours.
It wasn't really a problem since we were on vacation and lived with it as part of the local color, plus you may learn some Danish in the process!
We will definitely come back here on our next visit.

We loved staying in this apartment. It was a beautiful, relaxing place to stay with all that we needed to feel like we were at home. It is centrally located to all that Copenhagen has to offer within walking distance. There are plenty of places to get a drink and something to eat right near the apartment. Thanks for such a pleasant stay.

We spent 4 days in Property# 134, Gothersgade. The house is really nice and confortable. I liked the atmosphere inside it (it is so naif). It's almost five minute walking from the pedestrian streets,Nyhavn, parks. Hence, it is just in the centre of the city. The only objection is that it is a little noisy during the night. My children were often waken up by the ambulance and police, as there are many pubs in the surroundings.

This apartment had a fabulous location allowing us to walk to almost everything. The neighborhood was filled with great restaurants and shops and wonderful pedestrian walking streets. The only down side was the noise at night. There are many bars located on this road and the noise comes right into the apartment through the windows. The apartment itself is nice. It feels a bit like a summer cottage with thousands of little things crowding every shelf and corner. It would be nice if they removed half of the things to make it feel a bit cleaner. Also, they need to provide better pillows for sleeping on. The service was very good. People at Apartment In Copenhagen were very helpful and always available. I would highly recommend their service.

This apartment may not suit everyone due to the close location to the Copenhagen nightlife but it is fine for one adult or one couple plus two small children. Far more importantly the service received from Copenhagen Apartments was outstanding. The payment and key collection was easy and small problems were addressed quickly and efficiently. I would recommend using this company again.
