Nestled in Pocono Mountains, this charming cabin for R 4,741 per night is a great choice for your next break. Lehman Tonwnship Permit No: 190046-R. A separate linen fee is charged. It's only paid if you use the linen service. A separate pet fee is charged. The fee is only charged if you bring a pet or pets. This lakefront cabin is located in Pocono Mt Lake Estates. The home is beautifully furnished and fully equipped for comfortable vacation living. Lake views from the kitchen, living room and loft. Secluded among maple, pine and birch trees. The chalet has three bedrooms; two downstairs with one bath downstairs and one upstairs in loft area with full bath upstairs. The upstairs bedroom has a queen size bed, TV and stereo. Downstairs both bedrooms have double beds. There is a large front deck overlooking Eagle Lake. LINEN FEE and PET FEE are charged if applicable Charcoal Barbeque grill. Charcoal NOT provided No Smoking. PETS ARE PERMITTED. A NON-REFUNDABLE PET FEE APPLIES. RENTED BY THE WEEK ONLY DURING THE SUMMER SEASON. OTHER TIMES A MINIMUM OF ONE NIGHT'S STAY IS REQUIRED UNLESS SPECIFIED BY THE OWNER. **Note: firewood is * not* provided. supplies for barbeque grill not provided YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 21 TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT.

My husband, myself, and our dog stayed 3 nights and it was the perfect, cozy Autumn getaway. The views of the lake and woods would never get old. All of us had a great time hiking Bushkill Falls and exploring around the neighborhood. Patrick was responsive to any questions right away. We will definitley be back!

Cabin was so dirty when we arrived about 3:30 pm (including an unflushed toilet) that we were grossed out, so went to a hotel instead. Never stayed at the cabin due to PTSD from its condition. Only one night of our 5 nights was refunded.
Other issues:
To get sheets, towels and wash cloths, we had to pay a significant one-time extra amount.
We ended up paying almost twice the per-night rate that was advertised for the cabin on the VRBO site, because of all the one-time fees that were tacked on. One of them was 2.1 times the advertised nightly rate.
There were a lot of documents to read and a lot of email/text communication necessary to set up our stay. Including documents that had to be printed, signed, and sent back.
We were told we would have had to haul the garbage cans up the steep driveway on Thursday and bring them back in on Friday. And no garbage disposal in the cabin, so cans would be pretty full. We are in our 70s.
Prefer a hotel where somebody else takes care of the garbage, linens are automatically supplied and included in the price, and if the room is dirty when you arrive, you can get another one right away. And one call or a few emails to set up the stay. And cheaper than this cabin.
Cabin would have been lovely to stay in if there had not been the trauma of it being so dirty when we arrived. Gorgeous view of the lake from living room. Nice furniture except for very unattractive terribly worn wooden dining room table.

Our view of the lake. with the fall foliage all around, was stunning. The huge window was amazing. There were deer right in the back yard each day. The house was very clean and comfortable. We visited Bushkill Falls during our stay and we loved it! We highly recommend staying here. Patrick was very responsive.

Everything was fantastic. Very clean. Extra supplies in closet-cleaning, broom/mop, first aid, tools, trash bags, toilet paper... Oars and life jackets supplied for canoe. Thermostats in every room, everyone able to set temp at whatever they're comfortable with. Heaters in bathrooms for cold mornings. Only suggestion is to upgrade tv to smart tv and dvd players to blue-ray. Several redbox dvd rental kiosks nearby.

This cabin was very cozy and cute! Absolutely loved the loft bedroom. We had some rain, the sound of the rain hitting to skylight was very peaceful. Had a wonderful weekend getaway without a worry in the world. Sitting by the lake was excellent and a beautiful view.

3 of us booked the property for 3 nights for a golf trip. The house was nice. A couple negatives was that there was garbage in the driveway when we arrived. I picked up everything I could and put it into the trash cans. No big deal, but I was afraid it would be blamed on me. The driveway is impassable so you have to park up near the street and lug everything down the loose gravel hill to the house. These were really the only negative things about the property. Everything else was fine and as described. Overall a good experience.

The property is really good for a family stay with a dog. Very cozy home and responsive homeowner(manager). We stayed for a week and it was great. The property had free life vests and a canoe, so we used it often. Only I’d suggest replacing beds on the 1st floor as they were pretty old and mattresses were too soft. Otherwise, no other complaints and suggestions.

Well, it is October and the weather wasn’t all that spectacular. However, the house is warm and friendly and the area is gorgeous. The leaves were falling, the squirrels and chipmunks were gathering their nuts and the deer. The deer were so friendly. I saw about six or seven of them in the backyard and so I went onto the deck and I just talked to the biggest one and she literally came walking over toward me, at that point, I grabbed the Hunter’s mix of nuts and seeds and took it outside and was so pleasantly surprised when she literally came and ate out of my hand. Wow, the restaurants were not super close, it is in the mountains, we found some really nice ones to enjoy a couple good dinners And I actually ventured over the Dingmans ferry bridge for the first time. One of the bad highlights was the bed in the loft is at the very best on its last leg, and probably needs to be replaced after spending one night on the bed my husband has been in a bit of back pain to say the least. We wound up sleeping in one of the smaller beds on the first floor for our second night all in all it was a very nice pleasant stay and a very nice way to spend 24 years together as we cuddled on the couch. After years of marriage, literally reconnecting, sitting on a couch and cuddling, doesn’t happen very often. Had the weather been a little more cooperative. We are planning on going to Bushkill Falls and even going for some nice walks in the woods but but when it rains, it kind of puts a damper on your plans, but all in all a very romantic location with beautiful scenery and beautiful lake to look at and lots of little creatures to watch scurrying around the grounds

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy chalet set in the woods surrounded by wildlife with a lake. This place is everything I would want in a mountain home. Very close to beautiful hiking areas, or you could stay on site and witness an array of wildlife and paddle around the lake. There are a couple areas of opportunity, but all in all our stay was just what we were looking for.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The best part was relaxing on the deck and enjoying the view of the lake. We had a wonderful peaceful weekend. Patrick the property manager answered all my questions and was so easy to communicate with.

It was a great place overall... unprecedented heat that week, it was hot! (certainly not the Host's fault!) We ended up buying a few fans to help move the air! it was a perfect place for 3 boys from 5-15 YO....... not fancy or "fussy". Rustic place. Host was easy to communicate with. Deer all around the area, easy walk to the community "beach" .... nice lake front location

This was to be our 1st vacation in 3 yrs. In past we always rented houses at the beach so expectations are a result of my previous experiences from those rentals.
Check in was easy. 1st impression the the house is in need of work. Kitchen was not clean dishes and pots bring your own the ones there are very "well used" some of the bowls even had holes in them.
Cob webs inside the house mostly in the skylights and high ceilings.
Screen door was missing which we needed desperately to be able to open the door for some air.
Text manager he was aware of the issue and send someone next day to fix. The man that came to install was very nice and accommodating :).
Outside deck looked in need of work as well. Also no umbrella for the deck.
Deck along side of the lake was old and in need of some care. There was allot of stuff in the water right in front of the deck, bricks cinderblocks, made it hard to get in and out of the water.
Finally, no fault of the property manager but we were there one of the hottest weeks. It may have helped if there were curtains or blinds on all the windows to stop the sun from coming in. Also there were fans ceiling was very small and others helped move air around but not much.
We tried to make the best of the time but ended up having to leave on Thursday earlier than expected. Couldn't take the heat anymore. I am sure much better in fall but don't think you don't take chance in summer with no air-conditioning. It could ruin your vacation.
Thank you but I think we will stick with the beach :)

A piece of paradise
We had such a relaxing time at this beautiful property. We lived canoeing on the lake, watching the sunset from the dock and enjoying the abundant opportunities to hike in the mountains. There was so much to do in too little time. We definitely hope to come back. Communication with our host was timely and helpful. I highly recommend beautiful Lakehaven.

Chalet on the lake
It is a great location. Nice and quiet and private. Unfortunately previous renters do not follow the owners rules and when you arrive after them, you must deal with their trash left out after their departure that the wildlife likes to thrash about, several items broken inside the property that I feel obligated to repair because I try my best to leave the property as the owner intended, or better than when I arrive. Mixed opinions from the family members traveling with me who experienced this property for the first time.

Great place to get away!
The house and surrounding area were relaxing and beautiful. The only thing we underestimated was just how unbearably hot the house would become in very warm weather, without a/c. Other than that one area for improvement, it was great!
