About this house rental
Lake Hadlock, also known as Hadlock Pond, is about 2.4 miles long and .75 miles wide. It's about 35 to 40 feet deep and has 220 acres of surface area. The lake allows boating, jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, fun and safe lake activities. It provides clean, warm swimming water that feels just great! Enjoy use of our Kayaks & Floaties free of charge. Bring and ware personal flotation devices. Lake Hadlock is only 12 miles (about 20 min with traffic) away from Lake George and Lake George Village. Our Lake Hadlock is a nice private and quiet setting directly on lakefront property, beautifully located in the Adirondacks right in Adirondack Park. The Lake House is Owner run and is our retirement home that we enjoy sharing. We rent to guests who share and appreciate the wonderful experiences offered by the Adirondacks. We ask that you kindly respect our home, Lake Hadlock and this wonderful area. Please note that we share the floating dock and part of the lower dock (left side) with our good neighbors to the left, next door! We've added a 4th Bedroom that is especially great for having one bedroom with separate keys, climate controls and wash sink set apart from the main house so visiting guests can come and go as they please. This bedroom is only accessible from the front porch or road side door. Very quiet and private. Our newly remodeled Main Bedroom #1 and upstairs bedroom #2 have been enlarged. Bedroom #3 has new carpeting and a Sleep Number bed. New flooring throughout our home and beautifully built interior local pine wood wall (we built ourselves) holds a 55 inch Vizio Flat Panel TV for your enjoyment. We've converted our upstairs half bathroom into a full bathroom with tiled shower, new sink vanity and toilet in 2021. PLEASE bring your own bed sheets and bath/beach towels as laundry is very limited! We know you'll enjoy your stay here in the Adirondacks! Safe travels now....

This property truly stood out as one of the best places we've stayed at!
The house is spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with almost everything you'd need. It's right by a beautiful, clean lake. The large deck, fire pit, grill, kayaks, and floating deck were so much fun that no one wanted to leave property, making it the first vacation where we spent the entire time on-site instead of exploring the area.
The owner was responsive over text, and overall, it was a fantastic vacation, we definitely will be coming back.
Just a heads up: make sure to note the "BYO beddings" requirement. We missed that detail and ended up having to make a quick trip to the nearby Target for bed sheets.

We had a wonderful get away with friends at this beautiful property. The lake is beautiful and clean, calm and serene. The view from the house is incredible but the time spent on the deck will be forever memorable. We enjoyed being outside at all times of the day- our group relaxed, laughed, ate, fished, listened to music and exercised outside. The kayaks were awesome. We enjoyed exploring Bolton Landing, boating on Lake George, attempting to climb Prospect mountain and visiting Saratoga on our visit. The house suited our group of 6 well. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was our first visit to New York and this area was our second stop. This house did not disappoint! The lake is gorgeous and clean. A hidden gem! I absoultly loved having coffee on the dock and getting in the kayak in the evenings with my kids. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Experience was great! Beautiful property! We had two families and a friend for our annual vacation, stay at property and the house was perfect even with two small children.
Peaceful but with plenty to do. Lake George was a few miles away so you can enjoy the village for a change of pace. Truly a wonderful experience, we would love to return.

Our family was so pleased with the home on Lake Hadlock. The home was clean and spacious and accommodated our whole family. We especially loved the outdoor areas, swim dock and kayaks. The owners were kind enough to recommend some activities and restaurants in the area as well. We had a wonderful week!!!

Relaxing Scenic View Lake Rental
We were very impressed with your lake house. It was secluded and clean and much roomier than we had anticipated. The kids spent the days fishing, kayaking, swimming, and reading on the deck. Nights were spent fishing alongside the campfire. It was a short ride to Queensbury and Lake George Village (15-20min) and there were plenty of restaurants in the area as well as a plethora of places to buy wood alongside the road. Mini golf, ice cream, go carts, bowling, Six Flags all just a short ride away. The house was clean and spacious unlike many lake cabins which tend to be cramped. Showers and bathrooms were all very adequate and clean. The house is well laid out for up to 8. Thanks again for the rental. The kids want to go back already! Anthony O.

Great property on a quiet lake with all of the fun of the Adirondacks right out the door. Plenty of room for our 2 families. Perfect place to escape and relax!

Awesome house
Well ...this is one of the best properties we stayed at. Everything was perfect. The views were beautiful, house was super clean. Kitchen more than fully stocked. We cooked most of the meals and had no issues. It had everything we needed. The lights on the deck were amazing. We were a bit reluctant of our choice when we entered the lane leading to the house and especially when we parked. But once you open the doors its just amazing. The house has great character. Eric was responsive and reachable in case we needed help.
The neighboring house looked a bit run down but Eric had assured us that they are super good folks. We did not see them during our stay so no interaction.
The only thing that was a problem was the bathrooms.
Will for sure plan to stay again.

So there were six of us total; four adults and 2 children. The house was clean, larger than pictured and had pretty much a nice ‘wall’ (i.e. large windows/patio doors) of glass on the lake side of the house. The house is located towards the end of a kinda bumpy, gravel private road. During our weekly stay none of Eric’s neighbors were there; hence real private, quiet and well fun !
We had terrific weather and an overall great time. The grandkids had plenty of (indoor and outdoor) space and we especially enjoyed the multiple levels/decks on the lake. Strong WiFi signal enabled even outdoor internet connectivity; Cable TV was adequate but slow and limited channels. Absent loosing AC power for 3-4 hours one day (but the food didn’t spoil), nothing of importance on the down side to report. While not Lake George per se, it’s a beautiful lake with terrific swimming. Our occasional lunch and evening dining was a quick 20-25 min. drive to the Lake George commercial areas. Very nice and we expect to return someday!

We loved the multiple decks on the water…for having coffee in the morning, watching the kids swim, and cocktails in the evening. We were so happy to be able to use the kayaks. We loved our stay at the Ambrosino’s home. This house is so warm and welcoming and the recent upgrades are fantastic. We’ve been here twice before and plan on returning. Fishing and boating are great. The grandkids loved swimming and fishing. If you want a great place to come and relax then this is your ideal vacation home.

The house itself is right on the lake - the perfect location to have a morning coffee, read or go swimming and kayaking. When it's raining out, the great room provides an excellent place to come together and play board games, watch TV or simply hang out together. Location-wise it's secluded and quiet while just a stone's throw from Lake George and a number of gorgeous hiking trails that the Adirondaks have to offer (Sleeping Beauty Mountain is a must for those who enjoy a solid hike with excellent views). Our stay was wonderful overall and I would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area.

New I could stay forever once I opened the door! Not only is the house beautiful but the view out to the lake fantastic. Yes the spiral staircase is a little challenging for the suitcase but worth it once we settled in.Every space is beautifully decorated with a warm welcoming atmosphere. The bathrooms are stocked with everything you needed if you forgot something. Never put on the TV we enjoyed the peaceful quietness looking at the lake. Sitting on the deck with a fire going outside each night was exactly what we wanted.Can’t wait to go back next year!Thank you Eric even for the call to see how we were doing!

So the views and location of the house are a 10 - the bedrooms and kitchen were basically clean but all other areas were not clean and unusable. The second shower was unclean and unusable so we had to share the one shower among four of us
