This property was perfect on all fronts. It was comfortable, clean and quiet with lots of light. Simon was a great host, answering all my questions quickly. Location was close to grocery store, pharmacy, metro and some nice restaurants (I highly recommend O Thym around the corner). I’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

We spent five nights at this property and really enjoyed our stay. Simon was wonderful to work with. He communicated regularly during our stay and quickly answered any questions we had, so we couldn’t have been been more pleased him as a host. In fact, a few days before we arrived, I reached out to Simon for some suggestions on restaurants, and he gave me a great list including detailed information. The property itself was very comfortable and well taken care of. The appliances and furniture were in great shape, and the kitchen was well stocked. All of the finishes were beautiful and fairly new. The property is located in a great spot because of its proximity to so many things. You can walk to Old Montreal in less than 20 minutes, the IGA in less than 10, and lots of local restaurants. We loved having breakfast several mornings in the little French café right below us, and you have to try Poutineville, which is less than a 15 minute walk away. We didn’t use the metro, but that’s very close, too. Remember, though, that you are in the heart of the city, so on your walks you will see some homeless folks and transients. Since we don’t vacation in cities often, that made us feel a bit unsteady at first, but we quickly adjusted because they posed no threat. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property and would certainly stay there again if we return to Montreal.

The apartment has good character and provided a nice space to hang out in. The kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking. We enjoyed our stay here, close to two metro stations and a pretty short walk to old town.

Loved this property, central to lots of things to do, many really great restaurants close by and walking distance to the harbor. The apartment was large and well stocked in the kitchen, bedrooms were comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The apartment was well cleaned and given the location was very quiet. Simon was a great host, very responsive. Close by a stand out restaurant for us was Darbar Indian. We also went axe throwing which was opposite the building! The cafe downstairs is also well worth a visit. Would definitely return to this location for our next visit to Montreal.

We enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment. It is very well appointed. In good condition and the shower was great. It’s in the village with a little supermarket, which organic and gluten free foods which was great as one of us is celiac. Restaurants and a great espresso coffee shop and breakfast place too beneath the apartment.. Subway within 2 minutes walk and the old town 20 minutes walk. I’d definitely stay again and the host is attentive and helpful with questions.

We had a very comfortable stay. It felt like home and had everything we could possibly need. It was beautifully decorated as well. Just steps away from hundreds of Restaurants it is a very convenient location. There is a metro station close by and the bixi bike share system is fantastic and also located in several locations close by.

The apartment is exactly like the pictures. Alexandrine was great with the check in and was very prompt will all replies. Location was fantastic as we walked to most things and lots of stores, shops, and restaurants. The Metro is just 2 blocks away. Booked this rental because they could provide a paid parking spot which was great because trying to park in Montreal can be fun. Have to request the parking spot. Would definitely book again when we go back to Montreal.

Hosts were very responsive. Location was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure in shower was awesome. Outside deck was very nice in the evening. A/C and fans were very helpful since we hit a heatwave. Alexandrine could not have been nicer. Kitchen was well outfitted for everything we needed. Close to markets, restaurants and easy walk to Old Montreal. Thank you for a lovely stay!!!

Lovely condo, close to everything, although the village has quite a few homeless. Easy to travel to all ponts of interest in Montreal. Access to public transportation and Metro are excellent..

This is a typical Montreal apartment in a diverse neighborhood close to 2 metro stops and many shops and restaurants. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is large and well equiped. There is a steep staircase to reach the apartment. The bedrooms are quiet yet you can hear the upstairs neighbors. The roof terrace is a nice bonus.

We loved our stay in The Village. We felt safe & walked to so many amazing restaurants. Uber was very easy to pick up from this street. Alexandrine was so welcoming & kind! She was a great host! You are definitely in a city atmosphere, so there is some road noise, but thats the small trade-off for a great location!

The apartment is beautifully decorated and just as the pictures show. The kitchen is well equipped. Special touches in the bathroom like nice soap and body wash, sewing kit, q-tips,lots of face cloths and towels. With 4 ladies staying together that was greatly appreciated! The separate shower was awesome as we could still use the bathroom while others showered. The area was perfect for exploring Old Montreal as you can walk there in 15/20 minutes. The metro station is right around the corner as well. Communication with Alexandrine was a pleasure. She was there right away if we had any concerns or requests and she is delightful. She even carried up 4 chairs for us to use on the terrace last minute as it turned out to be a warm, sunny weekend and we enjoyed sipping wine or coffe in the sunshine with an awesome view everyday. The only thing we would have wanted to be different was to have bigger beds. If you are used to sleeping in smaller ones with another person, this may not be an issue for you. Overall, we loved the roomy accommodation, lovely apartment, location and the delightful host.

This trip was my first visit to Montreal, and the condo/apartment was perfect in terms of accessing other parts of the city, whether by walking, Uber, or Metro. The owners are extremely responsive and thoughtful!! The unit is clean and well stocked with supplies, such as towels, kitchen appliances, utensils, etc. The unit is also within blocks of restaurants and a convenience store. The only, very minor complaint we had was that bedroom ceiling lighting could be brighter. We’d happily return and book this property!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦💚💚

This was our second visit to Montreal. Alexandrine’s place was wonderful and she was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging parking. The bottle of vino and croissants was an unexpected plus. Would stay again.

Not only were the hosts incredibly welcoming, but the apartment is gorgeous! The location could not be more perfect, so much nightlife and loved that Old Montreal was so close! The hosts were so sweet and left us lots of candy, food, and drinks. Would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone coming to Montreal!
