Situated in Wailua, this attractive condo for R 7,644 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This two bedroom, two bath condo is located in the stunning oceanfront Lae Nani Resort on Kauai's East Shore. It is a second floor end unit featuring a large covered lanai, perfect for outdoor dining, with unobstructed views of the ocean and Wailua Bay. Lae Nani is a gated oceanfront condominium complex, roughly seven miles north of the Lihue Airport and a quarter mile north of the mouth of the Wailua River, Kauai's largest river. It's centrally located in the town of Kapa'a for easy access to all areas of the island. The resort is exquisitely landscaped with lush tropical vegetation and offers a large oceanfront pool and patio, with gas BBQs available for guests. There is also an on site coin-op laundry close to the unit. Lae Nani is one of several condominium complexes on Papaloa Road, which runs from the north side of the Wailua River to the Coconut Marketplace shopping center. Unique to Lae Nani, however, is a beautiful white sand beach, popular with locals, guests and tourists alike. Constructed many years ago on this beach, a keiki pond (a three-sided black lava rock breakwater) creates a protected pool that is shallower, warmer and calmer than the surrounding ocean. The condo was recently renovated. The kitchen features granite countertops, cabinets and appliances. There is a four-burner glass top range, large stainless steel refrigerator, stainless dishwasher and a built-in microwave. We have all the pans and kitchen supplies to cook a gourmet feast. The two bathrooms have also been remodeled, with custom walk-in showers, beautiful tilework and vanities with granite tops. New luxury plank flooring throughout the unit provide a cool, clean look. The master bedroom has a king size bed and attached bath. The second bedroom has two new twin XL beds and attached bathroom. There are an assortment of beach toys for guests to use including beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel masks, and sand toys for children to play with. The Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk away and has many shops that cater to tourists. Kapa'a town is about a mile north of Lae Nani with bicycle, snorkel and beach gear rental, a Safeway grocery store, drug stores, banks, restaurants and farmer's markets. Rent bikes in town and take them onto the new bike path that begins close to the condo and winds north along the ocean for many miles. Kauai is a small enough island that most visitors want to explore it all, from Waimea Canyon and Koke`e State Park on the West Side, to Hanalei town and the tropical lagoon at Ke`e beach in the North. Lae Nani is conveniently located about halfway between these two road's-end points. We think you'll love exploring the beaches, towns, rivers, falls, jungles and attractions Kauai has to offer, and returning each night to the beautiful and tranquil Lae Nani Resort. I have to start with the No AC. I was nervous that we where going to melt to death, but the condo stayed cool. Even needed a blanket at bed time. Great view of the ocean and the breeze was amazing. The condo was comfortable and clean. Access to the beach was easy and the condo had beach chairs, snorkel gear and said toys. Condo was close to shopping and main highway.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was centrally located and a “short” drive away from major destinations, such as hikes and beaches.
We enjoyed relaxing on the deck while we are our meals or just enjoyed a beverage.

Great location, fantastic condo with everything needed for a great vacation. Really liked the louvred windows for a fresh and cooling breeze throughout the condo. To top it all off the swimming pool was fantastic too, especially at night when it was lit up.

It was our first time to the island. We decided on this condo because of it’s central location and it was a great decision. We had excursions to the north (turtle beach, kalalau trail), south (poipu beach, luau and boat tour), east (helicopter) and west (wameia canyon). The condo itself is nicely updated and the grounds are gorgeous. There is even a restaurant right on the beach facing the ocean just steps away. What a nice surprise. A little hidden gem. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Location! Location! Location! This place was the perfect home base for our family. It’s easily within walking distance of restaurants and shops, yet private enough away from that hustle and bustle. It’s set back from the water, but that’s no problem. You get a great view and the ocean is just steps away.
We stayed for a week and took a couple trips north to the north side, which is only about 30 minutes. We took a few trips to the south and west sides of the island and that wasn’t far either. There is a lot to do close by or you can just hang out.
Very well stocked and very comfortable for our family of four.

We loved having this condo as our home base for our stay on Kauai. The condo was wonderful. Even better then the pictures. Our flight time changed and we were able to check in early, which was fantastic. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

This trip was supposed to happen in January 2022 but due to covid numbers, we had to postpone to November. The host was accommodating and we finally made it. The property is as advertised, lots of dishes, pots, pans and towel, and everything worked well. The cross breeze and fans in the unit made a/c unnecessary.
The host was very responsive and that was appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

The view is spectacular! Waking up every morning to lush garden and beautiful beach was amazing. Being able to walk over to it to enjoy our coffee while our child played in the tide pools and beach was truly a wonderful experience. The condo provided everything we needed to make our own meals when we didn’t dine out. Only thing was that there wasn’t any bathroom mats. I’m not a big fan of stepping out and walking around wet. I swept the sand, but could use a new broom or swifter type to help with that. We had a bit of trouble with the car gate opening while using the correct code. We didn’t get a parking las till next day. Otherwise, our condo stay here was great. Definitely will recommend.

Great living/lanai area on beautiful grounds with a small, uncrowded beach that felt at times like a private beach. There was some road noise in the bedrooms but that was a minor inconvenience. Central location with easy access to explore the north and south parts of the island. Nicely furnished but beach chairs need an upgrade.

Very nice condo with ocean view on amazing property. However, dishwasher was not working and the bedrooms face the parking lot with no soundproofing (louvre windows). Hence, bring earplugs or expect night to be over around 6am.

Awesome, but....
This is a great property. Amazing view of the water and grounds. Coffee and groceries are a 5 minute walk. Well decorated and new. Beach equipment in the closet. You couldn't ask for much more. Except air conditioning. Granted the weather is amazing, and we never exactly got uncomfortable, but after a day at the beach a little cooling off is appreciated. Especially when you see that most of your neighbors have air conditioning. There is a good breeze and that helps, but people should know about it going in. Overall we loved our stay though and would recommend it.

Condo was very clean and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed for cooking. The unit was great, on the second floor in the corner with ocean views from the balcony. The property and grounds are beautiful, lush and tropical with a sacred Hawaiian site located near the pool. The beach is great for morning swimming and floating, with a protected pool in 2 different close spots if you don’t feel like fighting the waves. We had a wonderful time and the space was perfect for our family of 4.

Arrived in the evening to find uncleaned apartment
The rental was a nice apartment in a nice development - but when we arrived around 9PM, tried and looking to rest for the night - we found that the apartment had not been cleaned after the last guests. Piles of dirty towels and bedding, dirty bathrooms, and no access to clean bedding - because of a locked linen closet.
No response via our contact information until the next morning. We had to wash someone else's dirty sheets ourselves in the condo laundry room late at night - later than the allowed hours for the laundry room.
The apartment was finally cleaned by the middle of the following day, but overall a gross way to start, and something I've never experienced before.
