This premiere, quiet one-bedroom condo just feet from the ocean offers views overlooking aqua waters from the roofed front balcony with balustrade. (No building in between.) Inside, floor to ceiling turquoise drapes frame glass doors of the living room decorated in shades of aqua, blue, and spring green. A queen size sleeper sofa and chair offer seating for the Sony flat screen TV with DVD player. Original artwork enhances the tropical atmosphere. The property is amazing and management communication was fast/accurate. This condo has wonderful views of Cruz Bay and everything you would need for a great stay is within walking distances. Very nice pool and hot tub and elevator if needed. We will definitely stay here again.

Just 2 of us, looking to try some place new. Loved the unit. Loved the location. Arrival was seamless. We did not rent a car. We walked to the grocery store a couple of times. We walked to restaurants in Cruz Bay and Mongoose Junction. We took a cab out to Trunk Bay and Maho Bay Beaches.
We cannot wait to come back again next year in the same unit!

We had a Wonderful stay! Everything was in Great shape! The washer and dryer was so handy! The rental jeep was Great for visiting the Northshore beaches! Walking to town was easy for dinner and shopping! We will be back!

This condo was in the perfect location - within walking distance to the bars and restaurants and easy to access from the street. The inside was immaculate and exactly as described. The owner was in contact and responded immediately with any questions I had. I will be back and will stay here again

We loved this place. Very comfortable. Nice to sit and look out on the bay. On the porch you can hear music from the restaurants up the street but we enjoyed that. Very quiet in the bedroom. Great to be in town and have a parking space. This was our second stay at Grand Bay and liked this unit because it looked right out on the bay with no buildings between. Would definitely stay there again.

Third trip to USVI, first time staying on St. John. Cannot beat the location. Easy walk to bars, restaurants, and taxis. King size bed and sleeper sofa were both comfortable. Pool was great for the kids. Rented a jeep for a few days in the middle of our stay and the included parking space was great. Hope to come back again soon!

My husband and i used VRBO several times to stay at Grand Bay and just love this property. Grand Bay is close to walk to everything in Cruz Bay. The property is accessible with a nice workout and pool area. This unit was easy to access through the parkig garage. It was clean and had plenty of towels, linens etc... it is always nice to have a washer and dryer available. We really appreciated being picked up at the ferry dock with all our luggage after a long day of travel, that was a nice touch. We will be back !!

Very nice unit, located a very short walk into town. Perfect location, easy to get to, and has a good view of the harbor. Clean, well-appointed, spacious kitchen. One minor issue with an appliance was handled very quickly by the owner. We plan to book again for next year.

Beautiful condo in the front building of Grande Bay. The unit is modern and super clean. It has a full kitchen and outdoor gas grill on the deck overlooking the water. The upper deck pool and hot tub is enjoyable after a long day on the beach. This is the best location in Cruz Bay. You can walk to all the restaurants, shops and bars. Working with the owner was a pleasure! This is our second time staying at Grande Bay and we will definitely be returning next year!!

We like staying at Grande Bay because of it's great location within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. It was convenient having a car to rent along with a parking space so we could visit our favorite spots around the island. Enjoyable stay!

This was our second year at the condo and plan to come back next year as well. We just love it. Condo has everything you need and the bed is very comfy. The location cannot be beat. The condo was very clean and well kept. The bathroom had been updated based on the previous condo we rented here a year ago which was nice. Bed was comfortable and kitchen had most everything we needed. My 20 year old son said the pull out couch wasn’t too bad. It’s directly across the street from the ocean and has a nice little view. We liked the convenience of being in the front building . It’s walking distance to everything in Cruz Bay. It has a spot if you rent a car but we didn’t on this trip.. we would definitely stay here again.

The location of this property was perfect and the view was spectacular. The property itself was very tired. The number of towels were few, no washcloths and some towels had bleach spots. The sheets also had a few bleach spots. The light over the stove was out. I would chose a more updated property for our next visit!!!

The location and amenities at Grande Bay are great. The property is perfectly located to walk to all the Cruz Bay shops and restaurants. This unit was beautiful. Its nice that the bedroom is on the back side of the building so its very quiet. I definitely want to come back and stay in this exact unit.

This was a great option for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 young children on the sleeper sofa. I could also see it being good for a couple wanting some more space, especially if you like to be close to where all the action is in Cruz Bay. This is directly across from Cruz Bay beach. It's where all the boats park so it's not a snorkeling/swimming destination - but if your kids just want to play in the sand and get a little wet it is perfect! It's nice that this unit comes with a parking spot because you can walk to all the Cruz Bay shops/bars/restaurants in <5 minutes from this location. Parking in Cruz Bay looked like quite a challenge otherwise. The check-in process was pretty easy - we did the car ferry so we just drove there and met property manager. Otherwise I think they try to meet you at the people ferry. It's only a 5 minute walk from people ferry. We had a problem with the rental property management company (Crandall) trying to clean our property the day before we were scheduled to check out. I wonder what would have happened if I wasn't in cell phone range when Crandall called trying to kick us out. That wasn't the VRBO hosts fault though AFAIK. The Grande Bay pool and hot tub were nice. The whole place has a giant diesel generator - power went out twice on the island during our 9-day stay but the generator powers everything including the A/C. Hosts provides beach chairs, sand toys, small cooler. Unit has full kitchen with enough pots/pans/appliances/gadgets to get by. You have to improvise a bit, but that's usually the case in my experience renting a condo.

This is a wonderful condo in Cruz Bay. The unit is one of the best equipped rentals I’ve stayed in. Everything works beautifully and you have all you need for a comfortable and fun vacation. Take a walk to Frank Bay for sunset, and enjoy sunrise from the porch with Cruz Bay waking up.

A Few Days In Paradise
This is a wonderful condo in Cruz Bay. The unit is one of the best equipped rentals I’ve stayed in. Everything works beautifully and you have all you need for a comfortable and fun vacation. Take a walk to Frank Bay for sunset, and enjoy sunrise from the porch with Cruz Bay waking up.

We were only there for one night but appreciated several things about the property. The location and view are top on the list. It is walking distance to shops, dining, and the ferry. The actual property was clean, instructions clear and perfect for our needs.

Great location
Best thing about this condo is the location. We have stayed on Saint John many times and always in villas high up on hills. I very much enjoy being close to town and walking distance to restaurants and bars especially having a young child we could just pop over to the playground or Ire pops!
The balcony was big enough for four people and the view was perfect for morning coffee. We did make use of the pull out couch and my oldest daughter said it was very comfortable. The condo was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Please note there is no beach bag…we are used to villas that have beach bags for our use so we had to run over and buy one. Next time I will make sure to pack one if I stay here again. A cooler, four chairs, umbrella, sand toys were available.
We had a couple hiccups when we arrived. The air conditioning was not working and water pressure and hot water were very poor. I only tell you this because the maintenance staff remedied the issues quickly and we were up and running! Great service!
I’d say the condo is great for two people but you can definitely get a family of four in there like we did. There is a small mudroom area which we were able to keep all our shoes beach bags and miscellaneous items so that really helped keep us organized. Overall we would definitely rent this condo again but probably get a bigger or a two bedroom if we are staying with our family of four. But we were very blessed to get this last minute and we had a great time!
