The staff treats you like family

I cannot say enough how grateful I am to have stayed at Joeys Hostel. They look out for their clientele as if they were family. They went above and beyond for me, amazing staff, great facilities and can’t beat the location just minutes walk from the Taj Mahal. Please do yourself a favor and book her your next trip to Agra

Confort simple, Ambiance sympa et vue géniale

Ambiance routard très sympa. Le confort est correct mais sans plus. Chambre propre et simple. Personnel très attentionné. Et la superbe terrasse (bar, petit déjeuner) avec vue sur le Taj Mahal…… magique !!! Emplacement également parfait à 2 pas du Taj et plusieurs restos dans les environs

La salle de bain est vraiment sommaire….. mais à ce prix, on n’attend pas du grand luxe

Super close to Taj, lovely staff, great for short stay!

Easy to get to. Super close to the Taj Mahal - 3 min walk. Nice cafe on the roof with good view of the Taj and tasty food. Really nice, super helpful staff!

Bathroom could do with a squeegee to get the water off the floor. Another mirror somewhere in the room would be helpful. Another light in the bathroom and extraction for the shower that works. Overall really good, this would just make it better :)

Buena ubicación

La ubicación es perfecta. A muy poca distancia andando del Taj Mahal. Hay varios restaurantes alrededor con comida muy rica y a buen precio.

La cama era muy incómoda y por la noche hacía mucho frio en la habitación. Además entraba mucho ruido por ma ventana.

Brilliant location

Ravi was such a good host. He made us feel welcome with soup and masala chai on the spectacular rooftop. The location is right next to the Taj Mahal. The hostel is friendly and safe. Very good value. Thank you Ravi and your team

L'emplacement est top. Et le personnel de l'etablissement agreable. Le rooftop qui donne sur le taj mahal est vraiment appreciable pour contempler cet merveille du monde.

La chambre n'a pas de fenetre beaucoup trop d'humidite et du coup l'odeur va avec.

super nice hostel - recommendable 100% !!

Great hostel with a super cool rooftop cafe, with delicious food and unbelievable view on the Taj Mahal! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very recommendable and available for a really low price. Again: the view!!!! wow. Vegan food available. Would always chose this hostel again.

The room didn’t have a window and smelled like inwashed feet. But that’s hostel life :-D Some people are just different, using the really disturbing iphone alarm clock, that wakes up the dead. And snooze it for 3 times. At 5 in the morning. But well, that’s not the hostel‘s fault :-D -> So 10 / 10: well deserved.

es war unhygienisch, kein Fenster im Zimmer, Bettdecken waren verdreckt, es hat gestunken, es war feucht, man konnte nicht lüften, nachts war es laut vor der Tür.

屋上からタージマハルが一望！

タージマハルの入場口まで徒歩2〜3分の立地です前日夜に到着し、翌朝早く起きてタージマハルに行く方多いです（冬は霧が発生するため、屋上カフェでゆっくりして霧が晴れたら行くプランもありです）屋上にはカフェがありタージマハルが一望できますオーナーも少し日本語が話せます冬に宿泊しましたがシャワーはお湯は出ます Wi-fiも問題ありせん想像以上に良い滞在でした、アグラに来る際はまた泊まります

Great location for early wake up

The hostel beds had curtains, friendly staff, beautiful view and good food.

The locker was broken - which happened to be the only one left when I was there for the room

Friendly vibes, would stay again

Friendly and welcoming vibe. Staff were very easy to deal with. Fellow travellers at Joey’s made good company. We were sad that our stay was only for one night but thats backpacking sometimes. If we had more time we would have stayed longer. The wifi was good.

There wasn’t much to not like.

Close to the Taj Mahal.

Joey's hostel is located right near the Taj Mahal, you can't get much closer & is very convenient for your visit. The view from the rooftop is really nice. Stay here if that is what you are looking for - great location & cheap prices!

You get what you pay for - it was dirty. The bed sheets, pillow cases and towels were dirty. The bathroom wall paint was peeling and falling apart, it was musty smelling and not super pleasant. We also weren't allowed to order beer at the rooftop because they are not licensed and were worried cops would come up to the rooftop. The room "windows" open into the central indoor courtyard and sound travels so much. We were woken up all night from other guests but also the staff deciding to have long & loud conversations.

Super hostel avec vue sur le Taj Mahal

Très bien placé avec terasse vue sur le Taj Mahal. Le personnel est accueillant et de bon conseil. Les chambres sont propres. Les espaces partagés conviviaux.

Notre chambre était près des cuisines, donc assez bruyant.

Well located hostel

Fantastic location, just around the corner from the Taj.

No heating, wet towels and very limited hot water meant we were very cold. It would be better in summer.

Great location, comfy bed and friendly staff

Very welcoming. Really friendly staff and guests and wanted to help with everything.

Couldn’t get the hot water to work, our fault but the system is not clear. It’s rough around the edges but it doesn’t pretend to be anything else.

Hotel à 5 min du Taj Mahal

L'hôtel est à 5 min à pieds du Taj Mahal ce qui est le point positif. La chambre était petite mais propre. Le personnel était très amicale et donnait de bons conseils.

Nous avons pris des coups de jus dans la douche, ayant les pieds mouillés. Une fois signalé, l'hôtel a réagi rapidement. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix au petit déjeuner.

Hade varit helt ok för det priset om det inte varit för fukten och möglet.

Det luktade mögel lång väg. Det var väldigt kallt och rått. Fick betala extra för att få värme på rummet Det fanns ingen restaurang inomhus utan man fick äta på takterassen

Bien pour backpackers

L'emplacement est vraiment proche du Taj Mahal. La terrasse sur le toit avec vue sur le monument est vraiment un point fort. Le personnel est efficace et de bon conseil. L'eau bien chaude dans la douche.

C'est un endroit avec vraiment beaucoup de voyageurs, qui fait un peu usine. Il y a deux bâtiments différents, l'un est plus calme que l'autre, certaines chambres donnent sur la rue, très bruyante. (À partir de minuit la ville devient plus calme.)

Location is very close to Taj

The surrounding is probably the worst I’ve seen. If we had know that we had to walk through all that filth, then we would have found another hotel.

Only the view from the cafe is good. But even for that I wouldn’t stay here again. No backpacker feeling.

Ofc the rooftop is the main point. It is also close Taj Mahal entrence.

I stayed at the 8 bed dorm room. Some switches and lights didn’t work. Sound isolation is bad, noises were bad maybe bc it was right under the “hippie cafe”. Just spend one night there. During night some uncles got super drunk and even some other guests seemed a bit out of their mind. Didn’t feel safe during night sadly.

Comfortable hostel with a good location in Agra

Hostel with a great location to visit Taj Mahal. It has a nice restaurant with a view and good menu. The rooms/bathrooms are a good size with a big locker. The staff was friendly and offered good advice.

The hostel was having renovation work so there were a lot of workers around, which made the place very noisy; it was hard to use the common areas for relaxation. They have two buildings with rooms, and the entrance to them is very dirty and messy. The stairs would be hard to use for people with mobility issues.

Super personnel !

Le rooftop parfait sur le Taj Mahal. Le personnel est très disponible, que dire notamment de Rajeev ? Il a passé énormément de temps à nous aider avec notre problème de carte SIM, merci encore à lui. Il est d'une gentillesse débordante et très bienveillant !!
