About this cabin rental
This lake front charmer sits in a quiet cove that faces the Shuman Point nature preserve. The 2 bedroom cabin offers all the modern conveniences of home in a peaceful rustic setting . Cozy up by an indoor fire in the cooler months or by the outdoor fire pit in nicer weather, this quaint little spot is great for all seasons. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is also a sleeping loft that includes 1 full bed and 2 twin beds. Kitchen is stocked with essential cookware, utensils, microwave oven, dishwasher, electric stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster oven. The cozy living room includes, a fireplace, cable TV and DVD Player and an assortment of board games. Wifi connection is included as well. 1 bathroom with the added bonus of double sinks. Washer and dryer are located in the basement. There is a large deck with a grill that overlooks the lake. A private dock makes this location perfect for boats and jet skis in the warmer months. Easy access to lake and dock from house.

The house was beautiful and very clean and comfortable it felt like home the property was very relaxing and the home owners were very helpful and kind in letting us use there stuff on the property we had an amazing time

We enjoyed our stay at the Pocono Lake house. The house has that cabin feel, which we liked. The Welcome Book was appreciated pointing out proximity to hiking trails, local restaurants and activities. We also appreciated having the opportunity to bring our dogs. They loved the property and playing in the water. Lisa was a great host and very responsive to any questions I had. Would definitely book this property again!

Beautiful cozy cabin located on a lake with wonderful views. The cabin was very clean and Lisa was very responsive. Our stay was very relaxing and we found everything we needed- the kitchen is very well appointed. Definitely considering another stay in the fall or winter season!

Great property, can't beat the location in Sunny Point. Excellent views and the house provides lots of extras for water fun (paddleboards, tubes, etc). We rented a boat and couldn't have been easier to dock and the cove was one of the best places on the whole lake. Overall great experience and we look forward to coming back.

Enjoyed a wonderful relaxing week at the cabin. The lakefront location with private dock was perfect. We rented a pontoon boat for the week and kept it tied up to the dock which is in great shape, almost new. Spend days on the boat and relaxed in the evenings on the nice deck overlooking the lake and dock. The cabin is very nice with a great firepit area off of the deck. It is small which is pretty normal for the area. It got a little challenging at times which four adults together in the kitchen. Remodeled bathroom and new appliances in the kitchen. The coffee pot used either drip coffee or pods so that was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable enough plus one bedroom had a portable ac unit which we didn't use as temps were in the 70s. Additional beds in the loft but had no need for them. Cabin location in Sunny Point community is perfect. I am somewhat bias having spent my summers as a youth at Sunny Point. Lake is nice and wide there and the cove where the cabin is located is very quiet. Location is convenient to grocery shopping, beverage stores, eating establishments, and other activities. Overall a great place to stay, relax, and enjoy the lake.

The Home was Cozy, Clean and Convenient. The Beds were comfy, and the couches were relaxing as well. The Big Bay window in the main room facing the lake helped take in the view of the sun setting on the hills across the lake. Very convenient location to get to Wallenpaupak Brewey and the grocery store, etc., Would absolutely recommend, although going in the HOT summer months I would make sure to prepare for the lack of Central A/C. There is a free standing unit indoors, but I think it would have a hard time cooling the entire house, although the Tall Trees with full leaves probably keep the home cool enough to have it made in the shade.

We had such an amazing trip visiting this home! The lake views were incredible and we loved that we can access the lake right from the property. We spent most of our time outdoors, whether it was enjoying the view, fishing, or making a campfire in the fire pit. The home was cozy, clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the coffee maker and hot water faucet (for some hot tea at the end of the night). It exceeded all of our expectations and we will definitely be back!

This property is beautiful. The house is clean and fits the needs of our family. It has the most beautiful views and the cove it sits on provides everything you need to experience Lake WallenPaupack. The wildlife (eagles, deer), fishing (we caught small mouth bass, yello perch and sunnies), fun on the dock (the water mat is super fun), we even rented a pontoon to use during the week and we were able to dock it at the dock provided. Coffee on the deck was a great start to the mornings. The community is quaint and quiet. We love it here and would rent again and again.

Not only is this beautiful house located right on the lake, it’s also a short drive from Hawley and restaurants in Lakeville and Tafton. This house is also the cleanest rental I’ve stayed at so far. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to rent this property again in the summer.

Great location
Not only is this beautiful house located right on the lake, it’s also a short drive from Hawley and restaurants in Lakeville and Tafton. This house is also the cleanest rental I’ve stayed at so far. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to rent this property again in the summer.
