Located in Carolina Beach, this charming cottage for R 5,544 per night is a great option for your next break. This is one of three vacation rentals on the property. There are two other units on the property, one two bedroom (VRBO #557429) and one studio (listed on A ir bnb). The units can be rented separately or together to sleep 6, 12 or 14. Two of the units have direct access to the pool. This one bedroom cottage has a large private bedroom with a king bed and a seating area as well as a private exit to the patio. Captains bunks in the hallway sleep two (best for kids to teens) and a pull out couch allow this unit to sleep a total of six. It's perfect for families or a group of friends. This is a private single story stand alone bungalow. So, no upstairs or downstairs neighbors or shared walls with other units! This is our home away from home and is set up for peace, comfort and enjoyment. There is a full kitchen that is stocked with all the supplies you need for wonderful meals or a quick bite. Including a full size fridge, range, microwave, and dishwasher. The bath includes a deep soaking tub and shower. There is also an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit for your use. Reservations to not include linens. They can be rented; contact host for more information. It is just a block and a half from the beach and the boardwalk so you are right in the middle of the action but as soon as you get back 'home' you will experience the peace and quiet of a private residence. The cottage is surrounded by a variety of delightful outdoor space with plenty of sun or shade areas to relax. The front of the exterior has a small garden space and a large patio with seating. The side courtyard has an area for pets and the back has a large beautiful in-ground pool with palms and flowers. Pets are not allowed in the pool area. The pool is only shared with two other units. One unit is a two bedroom vacation rental and the other unit is a long term rental occupied by the property's caretakers.

We loved the house. Its very clean and cozy. Perfect location. Close to the beach and walking distance to so many restaurant. Huge pool. The whole property is very nice and has a good vibe :)

We had a relaxing stay. It was quiet. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous. Just a short walk to the beach. The weather was great. The neighborhood is beautiful and everyone we met were so friendly.

Owner is wonderful, creative and has done an amazing job. This was our first vacation at a VRBO. We usually stay at fully furnished cabins or hotels/motels.. so we were not fully prepared for no paper towels/only the toilet paper that was on the roll...but live and learn. Rebecca accommodated us in every way we asked. She is a perfect host...I think we were just "spoiled" and not used to it.Anyway, would we do it again? Yes!

Walking into the cottage was like a breath of fresh air after a long trip. Rebecca has truly thought of everything and lovingly decorated the space. We absolutely loved the pool and yard area. It’s so centrally located we only got in the car a few times and didn’t have to drive far to check out the Kure Pier or the State Park, kayak the river, or check out historical sites. We had a great time, and are already planning our next visit. Thank you! The only change I might make is adding a railing and grab bar to the top bunk. My kids aren't used to bunk beds and we were kind of worried about somebody falling from the top bunk.

We were only able to take a quick trip due to school sports and sad we couldn’t stay longer! This property is amazing and in the most perfect location to everything downtown and the beach. The host is super responsive and was gracious enough to let us in a bit early due to the storm yesterday when we arrived. The property was SPOTLESS and very comfortable. The pool area is amazing and will definitely return for a longer stay.

There was nothing that the owner did not think of for this property. So well maintained, clean, everything worked properly, well decorated, beautiful gardens, location walkable to everything, ample parking, house supplied very well, comfortable furniture, lots of TV options, pool is great. We hated to leave at the end of our stay.

My husband and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time staying in this hidden gem. We really didnt need to leave the property because we felt like we were at our own little resort. We went to the beach which is a very short walk. When I walked into the house I felt the stress leave my body and looking outside gave me ZEN. The owner is very kind and her furbaby Fran is so adorable. Did I mention it is pet friendly and the owner is a dog person, so that makes it extra special. If you have a large family there are options that you can rent the entire property. Don't miss the chance to spend a relaxing time at this hidden gem.

Roofers we’re putting on new roof upon arrival. There seemed to be some miscommunication between the owner and VROB as the checking time was listed as 3 pm. Never used pool as there were roofing nails all over the deck and in the pool throughout our stay. Would let our children go in or around to pool area due to mail hazards.

We stayed here right before the hurricane hit and had to cut our trip short unfortunately. The cabin was pleasant and was very comfy. The fact that the beaches were a 5 min walk and 10 mins drive (to kure) made it even better. Lots of bars and food in walkable distance and tons of places to go around. Pool was cleaned thoroughly and is beautiful on a nice day out. We will be returning here again and have absolutely loved the stay.

1. Cockroaches 2. Host was intrusive: Making noise all hours of day and felt the need to clean her gardens whenever we were outside by the pool. 3. She states she is pet-friendly but she has a fear of small dogs: her anxiety was noted. This in turn caused us and our dog to be anxious 4. Pictures show a pool slide and hammock: not present 5. Grill was inoperable due to over filled ash catchers. Two preplanned meals using the grill had to be wasted. Overall, an uncomfortable, tension filled stay. I would never recommend this VRBO site.

Overall good experience. I just hope I did not bring roaches back home Improvement could be dish cloths and soap dispensers that worked. If I'm paying that amount of money stays there I should not have to clean up

The house was good for us. Originally rented at the last minute for 4 adults and one teenager to have a beach day on 4th of July weekend. Ended up being just the two of us. Master bedroom was fine. We would have liked it darker. The bed was very firm. Check in and entry we’re both easy. House is cooled by three window air conditioners. We liked the noise for sleeping and the house temperature was comfortable. The back door opens to a shared inground people that we didn’t use. There was another family in the pool when we arrived. There was a fenced in seating area in front of the house that we used. The location is great! Short walk to the Shuckin’ Shack, the Fat Pelican and the boardwalk. We were not expecting so many cars to be parked in the grass on both sides of Harper. Overall a good experience for our one night in CB.

Went down for a wedding and found this cute bungalow for me and two friends! It’s the perfect walking distance (about 6-8 minutes) to Carolina beach and all that it has to offer. A few friends were staying a couple of streets over and we walked to their place too. Plenty of food places and shops were also in walking distance. Didn’t find anything wrong with the place and would definitely stay there again on my next trip down there!

The property is ideally located within easy walking distance to everything: the beach, CB boardwalk, and good local restaurants. The bungalow itself is a good size, with a comfortable sized sofa and couch in the living room. The main bedroom is also a good size with separate seating area w/ comfortable sofa. The bed was very uncomfortable/extremely firm and made for less than quality sleep. While the bathroom is a decent size, the shower nozel was a bit grimey /moldy, otherwise clean. Overall it is a nice bungalow in a great location.

My mom,baby,dog and I traveled for a short visit to the beach. The property is centrally located with a short walk to the ocean, boardwalk, stores and dinning. We enjoyed our cute cottage which had ample space for all of us. The host was easy to reach and communicate with. It appears to be a good place to consider if traveling with a larger group as it offers lodging in 3 different,separate houses within the property connected by common area and the pool. You can rent it out together or separately.
