HOUSE RULES -No smoking or vaping indoors -No pets -No PARTIES -No Prom Parties -No Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties -No fireworks -Must be 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay to reserve. PROFESSIONALLY MANAGED Professionally managed means peace of mind during your stay. Front desk associates, housekeeping and maintenance staff are nearby should you need anything during your stay. It’s your vacation, we are here to ensure you enjoy it. RESORT AMENITIES AND INFO * indicates a seasonal amenity. 4ft heated pool*, toddler pool, basketball court*, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, Sandcastle playground, putting green, paddle boarding and kayaking*, catch and release fishing. Parking Passes ($5 each) and Wristbands ($15 each) are required for all guests ages 4 and up mid-May through September. A Wine Down rents for a 3 night minimum with check-in and check-out on Wednesday or Saturday during peak season (mid-June to mid-August).

We had a wonderful time at the Purple House at Beach Walk Resort. The house was very nicely equipped and located well. We enjoyed the pool and the access to Lake Michigan. We had a wonderful time and intend to return for a longer stay next summer.

Had a wonderful time very well set up and convenient for pool and other activities. Good walk for beach but smooth. I would suggest renting a golf cart if walking is not what you like. Great house and wonderful A/C Nice back yard for kids and lots of fun stuff for them to play with. Love outdoors shower

The Purple House was just as it was described. It was stocked with everything we needed. There were 2 wagons which was very helpful in getting things to the beach. There was an issue with the refrigerator that was dealt with immediately by a very nice person.

The house is cute, but needs an update. Everything felt very worn in. The carpet upstairs needs to be changed very badly....very matted down and felt dirty. The kitchen was not cleaned well and there were ants crawling on the countertops and in the sink. The kitchen had the bare minimums (some pans with all the Teflon scratched up, a microwave that doesn’t turn, a refrigerator/freezer that doesn’t make ice and has a broken water machine, etc, etc). The porch was cute but the furniture needs some help out there. Also, make sure you bring your own pillows.

This was the first time that our family had stayed st Beachwalk during the prime summer months and it was great! Lotsa young families enjoying the beach and pool and park. We had a great time. House was perfect size and off the Main Street so it was quiet even with all the kids around.

We had a wonderful time at Beachwalk. We stayed at The Purple House. The house was clean and and looked nice. Every kitchen item you could need was on hand. There were also extra things in the house to make a family at home...extra towels, toys and games, etc. We thought the resort felt safe and family oriented. We rented a golf cart and enjoyed using it to go to the pool, playground and beach. It was fun even to drive around and look at all the colorful homes in Beachwalk. We didn't think Michigan City was as nice of a city as we had hoped but would still return as we had such a great time at Beachwalk. Also, the beach was clean and had great waves some of the days we were there.

We stayed 3 nights; the pool was open for 6 hours of our entire stay. No compensation or apologies from management. Charged for damage that was already there. The house itself was nice and great location. The resort has become too crowded.

My family really enjoyed the open floor concept of the house. Everything was clean there were beach toys and chairs for use. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the balcony, the back porch, and the fire pit area. The community has so many amenities available most of which are included in your stay. We enjoyed the concert in the park on Saturday. The beach is beautiful. Definitely coming back next year!

Wonderful House with Everything One Could Need
My family really enjoyed the open floor concept of the house. Everything was clean there were beach toys and chairs for use. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the balcony, the back porch, and the fire pit area. The community has so many amenities available most of which are included in your stay. We enjoyed the concert in the park on Saturday. The beach is beautiful. Definitely coming back next year!

This house was wonderful for our family. Very clean and kitchen was equipped for cooking meals. There were sand toys, a wagon and chairs for the beach. Only minor complaint was that the smoke detectors were very sensitive and went off almost every time we cooked. And the pool was closed 2 of the days so that was unfortunate. But we went to the beach instead so that was ok!

Hidden Gem
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Wine Down. Our only complaint is that our stay was too short! We loved the proximity to the beach & pool. The screened in porch was perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning. The kids loved the bunk bed room. The house was very clean & comfortable. It was our first visit to the Beachwalk community and we’ll be back!
