It was comfy and private. The beds were like sleeping on clouds. They had everything we could need for cooking. The hot tubs were great for relaxing even further.

My husband and two kids enjoyed our stay! Loved the view and walk-down to the beach. Feels homey and comfortable. Hot tub and the dvd collection are a nice touch that made the stay very enjoyable. Host and as easily accessible and accommodating as well. Nothing like waking up to the fresh smell of the ocean out your door.

We really enjoyed our stay. Bed was comfortable. Lots of games and movies. Beautiful view of the ocean Very nice view and easy access to the beach. Enen saw an otter on the beach.

It was awesome. No complaints.

All around great place and great experience. Would loved to have stayed longer. Hope to be back, will stay there again when in the area.

Nice place to stay close to attractions.

We were pleasantly surprised by the location and spacious quarters of the rental. The close access to the beach was the best part. I was worried that it would be awkward with the owners living on the main floor and the rental on the bottom floor, but it wasn’t issue at all. The rental space feels private with direct access to the backyard and the private path to the beach. The rental is very well taken care of and the layout was very spacious. Definitely set up for a family. We will be back again.

We couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful perfect place for our family. The three sliders were great for listening to the oven all night. We were able to have a fire and sit listening to the ocean and enjoying each others company. The house was amazing with everything labeled and instructions easy to follow for all things as well. The private trail was a game changer for all of us. We were visited by a baby bunny and he even came up to our 6 year old and gave her bunny kisses. The beach was beautiful and just plain peaceful. Not a soul in site the entire stay. We will be back and rent the smaller rental for just the three of us. Thank you to our lovely hosts who were sweet and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for more. Perfection.

Worth the money

This place was very clean and had everything we needed (dry measuring cups in the kitchen would have been nice). They even had a basket in the bathroom with a few supplies we may have forgotten (we used the conditioner). The host was nice and offered to assist in any way we may have needed. The hot tubs (yes, two of them) were used a couple times and were very relaxing. The reason I took a star off is because we didn't realize this rental was the lower portion of their house. We always rent a full house, never a condo or apartment, so if we had known we were going to be guests under the main house, we wouldn't have rented this place. If being under other people (like an apartment) doesn't matter to you, this place would be perfect!

The property was awesome. The directions were easy to follow. Ken (never met his wife) was great and answered any questions we had. The hot tub was wonderful, especially the fact that it was such an awesome view of the ocean. The 2 bedrooms were at opposite ends of the place. If the weather is bad, there is a huge selection of movies to watch in front of the fireplace.

AMAZING location! Hot tub was amazing at night. Owners are super friendly and helpful! Beds are very cozy! House is well stocked. Taxi to town was super easy for dinner. Beach and tide pools were perfection. Only complaint is the cleanliness. This time around there was a lot of pet hair on couches, carpet is pretty dirty, and kitchen items were put away dirty.

This house was RIGHT. ON. THE. WATER (just as the listing says). We took an overnight trip to the coast from GP, Oregon where we were visiting my step-son and his girlfriend (we are originally from PA). We have never seen the west coast and this house was the perfect solution to our over-night trip. Plenty of seating space for everyone to sit where they wanted and were comfortable. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had sufficient amount of everything you could need. The path to the beach is a bit steep, so if you struggle with mobility, be careful. For us, it was just fine. Bonus was that this place is dog friendly so we were able to bring the grand-dog along. Would book again...actually, I think the kids are planning on making an annual visit to this house! Amazing quiet location with the most direct beach access possible, Like directly oceanfront! Amazing home with everything you could need including the largest collection of movies I have ever seen! The fire pit and jacuzzi add even more making better than a 10 out of 10

Friendly and relaxed and love the ocean

One of the prettiest views on the Southern Oregon coastline we’ve seen. Dog friendly and easy going. We stayed in the Two bedroom located on the lower level of the home. Fabuloso!!!! Thank you!

Great place for a quick get away halfway between the San Francisco Bay area and Portland. My friend of 40 plus years and I had a great chance to catch up while hot tubbing walking on the beach and chilling fireside. The beds were super comfy. The light switch system is a tad bizzare and whoever has the bedroom close to the kitchen should be a sound sleeper because each switch in the entire downstairs apartment links through a control box in that bedroom (noticeable clicks each time a switch is turned on or off). But overall we really liked the place and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The sound insulation between the upstairs & downstairs was robust!

If you read the listing there is no mention that this is essentially "part" of a house, not a house. When I select the house filter in VRBO, I am saying that I wish to rent a house, not someone's basement with them walking around overhead. If I was renting this place out I would at least make that clear in the description. Decided to leave early due to being uncomforatable.

The view was spectacular, even though it was really foggy most of the time. As we live next to the ocean also, we’re used to it. It was great to explore the tide pools at low tide. The private beach was awesome for us, but especially our dog. The house was spacious and well laid out. It would be better to know that we shared the yard with the renters of the other unit as well. There are two hot tubs and one could be for them. They can come through the yard to go down to the beach. Not really a big deal if you know ahead. We had our dog running around the front yard, when the other renters brought their dogs through. It was fine, but just should realize that can happen. Thank you for the use of your special place.

We were driving from California up to Washington and decided to take the coastal route. We decided to stay here to break up the drive. The owners are incredibly nice. They included a lot of information on the area including good homes and secret beaches! The space reminds me a lot of the Outer banks in North Carolina. The pictures don't do it justice. There's a lot of switches in the house so we appreciated how everything was labeled. There are so many movies (including newer releases) to choose from their wall. There are a lot of games as well. The kitchen was well equipped. We also enjoyed the hot tub. It was so relaxing to hang out in there and listen to the ocean. In the morning I walked down to the beach when it was low tide. We loved this place and highly recommend.
