Vacation Rental Description: Newly renovated unit with an AMAZING direct ocean view!!! Beautiful, furnished 2 bedroom 2 bath with a great balcony. 4040 Galt Ocean Drive! The Ocean Manor Condo is a wonderful resort, with 2 bars and restaurants! On the Galt Ocean Mile, best location in northern Ft Lauderdale!!! All tile floor. One bedroom has 2 double beds, the other has a king size bed. Both bedrooms have their own full bathrooms, and their own large closets. Each bedroom has its own cable HD TV. Both bedrooms have a view of the ocean! There is a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and microwave. The dining room has a glass table, with 6 chairs. The living room has a sofa, love seat, chair, and glass coffee table. There is a desk, and free wifi. There is also a great view of the ocean! The condo now has a washer and dryer in unit! The balcony has a patio table and 4 chairs, and a view of the ocean! I provide a pile of fun beach toys for your kids. See photos. I also provide 6 beach chairs, and a small umbrella, if you rather carry these down instead of renting on the beach. The chairs at the pool are free. This is a NON-SMOKING condo, please! No smoking at all, even on balcony. No exceptions, please. Condo Rules do NOT allow pets, sorry, no exceptions. Vacation Rental Amenities: The resort has a beautiful pool, and is also right on the ocean. There is a Tiki Bar at the pool, as is a small restaurant for breakfast and lunch. There is a bar and restaurant inside, off the front lobby. NEW: Casa Calabria just opened in the lobby / 1st floor area. This is a wonderful authentic Italian restaurant, and bar that has received great reviews and they serve a great drink! Some terms: RENTAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. NO PARTIES! NO GUESTS OTHER THANN THOSE NAMED ABOVE! 2. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 3 P.M. AND CHECK-OUT IS BEFORE 10 A.M. 3. This is a NON SMOKING unit, and no smoking is allowed on the balcony, either. 4. Pets are NOT permitted in rental units under any conditions. 5. We will not rent to people under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Key code will only be given to adult or guardian. Parents cannot sign this contract for their children to misrepresent who is staying. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit, and rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in. 6. All balconies are dangerous. Do not allow your children to be on the balcony without constant adult supervision. These hurricane doors are heavy; do not allow children to open or close them, so their hands and feet are kept safe. Be safe! 7. DAMAGE DEPOSIT- While a damage deposit is not required, guests are responsible for any damage to the unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. Soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. Lease dirty towels and linens on the floor. 8. CANCELLATIONS – Cancellations made with less than 30 days prior to check in date, will receive no refund on any deposits or monies paid. With over a 60 day notice, tenants may request a full refund. Between a 30 day and 60 day notice, tenants will receive a 50% refund. No change in cancellation policy due to COVID-19. No refund for early departure. No refunds will be given due to the weather. 9. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to the number specified by tenant, filled out above. 10. INCLUSIVE FEES - Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the apartment. 11. If landlord is unable to fulfill obligations of this contract, in no event shall landlord be responsible for more than the return of the money paid by the tenant. If the landlord deems the unit uninhabitable, only prorated rent will be returned to tenant. 12. PARKING – No free parking; valet parking only. At the time the landlord is writing this contract, the valet charges $15 a night, with no limit on in/out access. 13. Worst stay ever.. Room was dirty. Outdated. We could see from balcony how dirty the pool was. You have to walk through the tiki bar with tables to go around to get to beach.
On our floor there was prostitution and drugs going on. Several different scummy scummy people knocking on the door with backpaks tgen they would leave through the stairs. The whole floor smelled like strong fish.
Front desk do not care abt anything.
TRUST ME DO NOT STAY HERE. Trashy and unsafe.

If you are looking to stay right on the beach, this is the place to stay. You can't beat the beautiful sunrise!
The only negative that I found was the internet speed. It made it difficult to stream the tv.

The unit was a very spacious 2-bedroom property. Full kitchen and all the dishes, utensils and other goodies to prepare a meal. Bedrooms were great in size and the master bedroom was a corner space with a huge 2-sink vanity.
Communication with the property manager, Shelley, was nothing short of awesome. She showed us every little detail upon check-in and provided a mini-concierge service. She is only a call or text away, should you need anything.
The view to the ocean, pool and beach is great. It was windy during our stay and we never turned the air conditioner on, simply left the sliding door open a bit and listened to the waves crash on the beach, it was truly bliss.
Would highly recommend this place to book. Excellent property.

Stayed here October 2023. Condo was clean and fully stocked. The beach chairs were really appreciated. Shelly (property manager) was excellent. She gave us a lot of information to enjoy our stay. Will probably try to come back next year.

We really enjoyed our stay. Within walking distance to the ocean, pool, tiki bar, restaurants, grocery store, and liquor store. Place is a little outdated, but worth the stay. Great property management to work with and communication was quick and helpful! Would definitely stay again.

The condo was beautiful. The views of the ocean and morning sunrise fro my bedroom were exceptionally amazing. It was the best location right on the beach with a pool and a restaurant with a tiki bar. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The condo is equipped with everything you could possibly need which was really wonderful. Can’t wait to go back again.

Facing the ocean and sitting on the balcony is special. Everyone will love that. Plenty of space in the unit for two couples. Lot's seating and enough glasses, tableware and cupboard space. Good beds. Plenty of towels. Great location. We walked to Lauderdale by the Sea and down towards 33rd street...music is close.

We stayed here with our four kids ages 18,17,15 and 11. It was great having two bathrooms and a kitchen. The view can’t be beat! The balcony was frequently used by all. The washer/dryer is a bonus! We had a beach chair and umbrella at our disposal. Note: on windy days splurge (10$) for a rental. Shelley was available for check-in and gave great recommendations for attractions, restaurants and transportation. We truly enjoyed our stay.

You can't beat the view over looking the pool and ocean from the ceiling to floor windows in the master bedroom. Shelley did an excellent job checking us in and showing us the ropes as well as providing the beach chairs, and toys we needed. There was a minor problem with one of the toilets which she immediately addressed.
The unit was clean, up to date, well maintained, and equipped with plenty of beach towels. The garbage disposal seemed to be jammed, but we didn't need it. The six of us were very comfortable there. With the pool and beach near each other our grandchildren became fish.
The location couldn't be much more convenient. All necessities, grocery store, liquor store. surf shop, etc. are a short 5 min walk away, and the center of Lauderdale by the Sea is a 20 min. walk or short shuttle ride (free) away.
The Tiki bar on site tended to be busy, but has good food and a dedicated service staff. The Italian restaurant on site was excellent, and is apparently a go-to for the area.
We'd stay there again.

This condo is very spacious and well lit. It has nice bathroom fixtures and nice quality furniture. There were sufficient dishes and nice linins. The only problems we ran into were a disposal that didn't work, but we didn't ask to have it repaired as we were too busy, and a can opener that malfunctioned. There is a little room for improvement in that there was only one wine glass and no bathmats. None the less, I would highly recommend this property.

Condo was perfect for our party of 4. Had beautiful views of the ocean and pool. The tiki bar was hoppin' every night, but couldn't hear it in the unit. Condo was outfitted nicely, and had everything we needed.

The condo was great, such a beautiful view of the ocean! They provided everything you could possibly need and the manager was close by for any questions and recommendations. Its within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. Very relaxing and worth the money.

This was my first vrbo experience. Booking was easy. The owner was good with communication. The on-site manager was very good with communication. She met us and gave us lots of information. I think that information should be written and left in the room for guests. The location was absolutely great. I loved the walkability of the area and direct access to the beach! The resort is good if you just want to hang out at the building and not do too much. The tiki bar was good food at reasonable prices. The drinks were water down though. The building is definitely a vintage building with lots of character. I can tell the owner made some updates to the unit.

Overall, really loved staying here. We stayed for two weeks so we could really get to know the area and surrounding areas. Overall, the listing is accurate, clean, well kept, quiet for a hotel building and great communication from property managers. Shellie was very helpful with checking in, even helped us with all our bags, and provided recommendations on things to do in the area. Be aware that valet is required for the building and runs a flat $15/night that you prepay. I really appreciated that they supplied pool floaties, body boards and beach chairs. The only downside with this property is the beach, it's not the best beach and there was so much seaweed you really couldn't get in the shallow water which meant we stuck to the pool or went elsewhere for beaches. But that is not something Shellie or William can control and you will absolutely love the view. The food at the Tiki Bar is surprising good too! Definitely a good place to stay for an ocean view in Ft Lauderdale.

Overall the satay was a wonderful experience. The location was perfect. The people were friendly. The beach was beautiful both in the evening and during the day. We were able to watch the sunrise and the moon rise all the days and nights we were there.
I would suggest a couple of things such as some hooks in the bathrooms. The only two of the chairs for the beach are really usable, and so the broken ones should be replaced. The tea kettle doesn't have a top so it can't be used, so that should also be replaced. And finally I would recommend a dish rack dry the dishes on, rather than using the dishwasher all the time, which consumes a lot of energy.
Finally, I would like to end with this thought. Shelley, the property manager, was very flexible on just about everything. For instance, our flight out was delayed at least four times, and we were able to remain in the place, enjoying the beach and all the comforts that the property has to offer, until it was actually time for us to go to the airport. This is not that is usually possible in most VRBO's where I've stayed. Most of the property managers pretty much want you out as soon or as close to the time that is indicated in the checkout instructions as possible. I want to thank her for the efforts that she made to make our stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible as well as the flexibility she demonstrated at the end of our stay. Thanks for a great time!

My family stayed here for a week on our family vacation to Ft. Lauderdale at the end of August. We have 3 teenage boys 18, 17, and 15. There was plenty of space for all of us. Two bedrooms were nice so their mess was kept separate from ours. Two bathrooms were nice too. There were beach chairs and floaties for us to use at the beach and pool. Plenty of towels to use on the beach and in the bathroom. Lots of seating in the living room for us all to spend time together. Washer and dryer was awesome to have so we could clean out clothes after fishing and wash towels. Condo was super close to McDonald’s, Winn Dixie and other shops. Highly recommend!

The property is in a great location, very close to everything. The unit itself was very clean (thanks Ashley). The beds were comfortable, and and the owner supplies beach chairs, beach umbrella, and even sand toys for the little ones. The tiki bar has very good food, and drinks. The pool was very refreshing. All of the staff was very friendly, and helpful if we had questions. The property has a spa, I actually went to the salon and got my hair done(something I never do on vacation) so ladies if you want to get a haircut or color go see Antonio, he will fix you up! I rented the unit in order to attend a destination wedding. We had ample space and the location was ideal. Who are very close to bars, restaurants, and shopping. We were also very close to the airport.
The only problem was the unit was not ready when we arrived. Also the mirrors on the wall in the dining area need to be cleaned.

This was our second time staying at this property and we really appreciate the amenities and location. Check in/check out is easy. The kitchen has about everything you would need and a grocery store is two blocks away. It’s great to wake up early and watch the sunrise from the balcony!

If your life is go, go, go, sitting on that patio at sunrise with a coffee will rejuvenate your soul. The place is very spacious and everything is in good working order. The furniture sturdy and well
made. Zero complaints and the property management and owners were excellent to work with. The beach and pool are fantastic. The tiki bar was super convenient for food and beverages. And if you feel like staying up late night, they’re open until the wee hours. We ventured out a few times but I honestly would be content never leaving the resort. It was a memorable time for my family and I and we hope to return in the future..
