Renovated 1940's Cabin Located in a Peaceful Grand Lake Village Location
About this cabin rental
Nestled in Grand Lake, this attractive cabin for R 3,637 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Must see! This adorable, knotty pine one-bedroom cabin is located within walking distance of downtown, Grand Lake, and RMNP. This 1940's cabin is loaded with historic character and located on a peaceful, aspen-filled lot within Grand Lake village. This quaint cabin has been renovated with fresh pine, but it's historic integrity has been maintained. (Please note that, because the integrity has been maintained, the doorways and beams are low for people approximately 6 feet tall and taller.) This charming cabin has a queen-size bed, separate living and kitchen areas, bath, cozy gas fireplace, and cable television. Gas stove and microwave available. Charcoal grill, fire pit, and sitting area located outside. Use the coffee-maker in the morning, or wander downtown to one of the local lake-side coffee shops. Perhaps just lounge in the outside seating area and watch for wildlife to wander through the area. **(Please note that the mountains are a host to MANY types of wildlife. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unwanted wildlife such as chipmunks or mice can sometimes find their way into mountain cabins. If you are uncomfortable with this possibility, this vacation choice may not be the best for you.) This cabin's charm, quiet environment, and walking-distance proximity to town, the lake, and the Rocky Mountain National Park trailheads make it an easy choice for a vacation stay. This cabin is held to a higher safety standard than cabins located outside of the village. It is inspected annually by the Grand Lake fire department. Do you have family/friends who are also planning to vacation? We have two nearby charming cabins. (listing numbers 611187 and 899178).

Absolutely loved this quaint little cabin in Grand Lake, CO. Locating and accessing the cabin was an easy process thanks to Rebekah's helpful instructions. The cabin itself was clean and tidy, with a perfect mixture of rustic and modern for daily comforts like cooking and showering. I wish we could have stayed longer than our 2 nights there! Rebekah is also very accommodating for pet owners, for which we are appreciative of. The location is about a 10 minute walk from downtown Grand Lake and a 5 minute drive from the south entrance to RMNP. At night we had a clear view of the night sky while sitting near the campfire. This time of year not many restaurants are open in Grand Lake proper, but there are a couple of grocery stores and plenty of restaurants to choose from in Granby, which is about 20 minutes south of Grand Lake. Overall a wonderful stay, my husband and I look forward to coming here again.

Great cozy little cabin in Grand Lake. Close access to lots of hiking and downtown. The fireplace was a perfect spot to warm up with some board games after cold snowy mornings of hiking.

Very clean and comfortable little home away from home. Ina great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also, very dog friendly!

We had a very nice stay! We were near so much to enjoy each day. Hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park, fishing, and the shops in the cute little town of Grand Lake. The cottage was clean and charming and perfect for the two of us!! We even had the company of three mule deer in the front yard. Amazing scenery as well!!

This cabin is a gem. The location is wonderful, close to RMNP. The little cabin is so comfortable we felt like we were home. The kitchen was well stocked, there was Satellite TV, games to play, a booklet with trails and distance, comfortable bed and bedroom. We fully intend to return.

This is a cute little cabin, perfect for a visit to Grand Lake. We'd describe it as very cozy (not for the very tall!). The kitchen had what we needed, the queen bed was very comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The only issue we had was the size of the shower; it was very small, which worked for us, but probably wouldn't work as well for the very tall or larger folks. My husband is 5'10", 165 pounds, and felt like the shower floor had a little movement underfoot. The corrugated metal enclosure could have used a little finishing on the edges, some of which were a little sharp. Nice gas fireplace stove in the living room. We had an issue checking in, as the door code didn't work, but the host solved the problem pretty quickly. It is a little north and west of the main downtown and lake, but not a bad walk. We actually liked being a little away from the Main Street, as it was a little quieter in the early evening.

Fabulously close to "downtown" as well as walking distance to at least 2-3 trailheads into RMNP and easy drive to the west entrance !!

This was a fun place close to town within walking distance. If you’re over 6ft duck your head! My husband learned the hard way. Owner is awesome receptive and always willing to answer questions and help out. If you’ve got a 4wd take the hill road to the left when leaving the cabin. Brings you to town quite a vehicle tester ha! Super fun road!
Recommend would stay again!

Grand Lake is a must to experience at least once. The cabin was great, just watch your head. Doorways are a little short for us tall people. There's plenty to do in the area and lots of great shops in town.

My girlfriend and I came to Rebekah's cabin for the weekend and it was amazing. The cabin is very cozy and has everything you could need. The location is great and we were able to walk into town easily. Rebekah was a great host and was very responsive and ensured we had an amazing stay. The cabin is just adorable -- so snug and cozy. It has everything that we needed for our three night stay. The area around Grand Lake and the town itself are beautiful. We took one short hike in RMNP and a longer one to Jims Falls on Berthoud Pass. We also visited Hot Sulfur Springs. All around great stay!

I took my fiance on a trip to Grand Lake for his birthday and this cabin was the cherry on top! It's exactly as described except in person, it's the most charming place I've ever stayed. Driving directions were perfect. Access using the code was very easy. It's in a great location. We spent one day in Grand Lake, went to RMNP our second day and hiked Adams Falls the final day - the cabin is centrally located to everything. The cabin was very clean. The layout was perfect for us. We did a combo of cooking and eating out. We played games in the evening in the living room. Can't speak highly enough about this property! 11 out of 10 cabin and trip!!

What a great little cabin. Rebekah is amazing to work with and has thought of everything, right down to the floor mat for your dogs bowl. This cabin has all the charm you’d expect from being built in the 1940s, but with modern amenities. If you are a person of larger stature it may not be the best choice as the ceilings are low and bathroom small. But that only adds to its appeal. Quiet, clean and walking distance to downtown and Grand Lake. If you need a place to recharge, look no further, this is the place for you. Highly recommended.

This cabin was really adorable, and rustic as you would expect a restored 1940 cabin to be. The pictures are very accurate. If you want a place that helps you disconnect from the hustle, bustle of the city, this property will do just that.
