Just had a great 10 days over Christmas at this lovely unit right by Kailua beach. Communication was quick and effective, everything as described and absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Would stay again!

Beautiful view from the lanai. Less than a minute walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. The house is extremely well equiped and clean. Would definitely stay again!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this home. We stayed for 7 nights, 4 adults.
The guest house is directly behind the main house and still has great ocean views. We were welcomed with a nice gift basket on the table. The beach is just out the door, I had my coffee on the beach every morning. The beach is quiet and not very busy. It is easy to get all over Oahu from this location.
Conveniences: spaceous parking area, good functional and well accessorized kitchen (I made a Thanksgiving meal in there), Beach Shower, cooler, beach blankets, snorkel gear, beach towels, complimentary toiletries.
Read carefully: As advertised this is on a second floor, requiring a flight of stairs to get into the house. Also, it does not have central AC. There is a portable unit that cools well in the master BR.

Everything was wonderful about this little cottage by the sea except for the shower was too low for my husband and son who are 6ft. But everything else was FABULOUS!!!!

We had just the best holiday here. It truly was such a great house with everything you could need. The location was perfect, literally a 10 second walk to the most beautiful beach. The house was lovely, really spacious and a perfect base. We couldn’t have asked for anymore, it really was amazing.

Really wonderful spot to pop back and forth from the beach with a little one! Some breeze catching awareness is necessary without A/C in all rooms but that’s manageable for a location like this. The place was clean and the hosts were friendly and attentive to questions. We had a great time!

The house has a beautiful location second next to the Kailua beach and an outdoor shower to use whenever the salt water is to be removed after a swim.

The landlord Florence is very helpful and polite.

This was a wonderful property. We thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities including the nearness of the beach. The house was spacious and clean. We were able to have great communication with the property manager and host who quickly responded to any questions we had. Prettiest beach we have ever been to. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We loved our stay at this cute condo on the beach! It was a lot more spacious than we were expecting and had all the amenities you need. Florence was an amazing host, very communicative and it was super convenient that the condo came with anything you could need or want at the beach! We will definitely be coming back!

We were up on 2nd floor and we had a good view of the beach. Super close access to the beach. The beach is one of the top 10 beaches in the world. Nice quiet neighborhood. They provided snorkel equipment, beach chairs and a cooler. Big family room and plenty of kitchen area. We had one broken beach chair and as soon as we texted them about it, they brought a new one. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. One bedroom had a unit air conditioner and the 2nd bedroom only a fan. The only improvement would be for both bedrooms to have some kind of air conditioner. Had a great stay!!!

The location on this two bed unit is perfect for beach access. It’s a 10 min walk to Castles which we did daily. The manager of the unit was very helpful in accommodating our requests.

This unit has easy access to the beach and adequate parking and is in an otherwise quiet residential neighborhood. We had a very relaxing stay. Kailua is a charming and easy-to-navigate community. I would highly recommend visiting there.

The place has a large living room and lanei which is great to hang out on, enjoy the beautiful scenery and relax. The 2 bedroom cottage has a small view of the ocean. It's a peaceful place to be. The cottage is showing it's age. The biggest drawback is the lack of air-conditioning. Even though we visited in Nov, only one night was it cool enough to sleep comfortably. The one room air conditioner is NOT a good solution. It stops working when the tray is full of water...which happened to use in the middle of the night. Made for a really sticky night of sleeping plus the unit puts off a lot of heat! They do supply a lot of fans but that only helps so much. We enjoyed cooking and hanging out on the lanei and at the beach. The location is wonderful! However, the lack of air would make me pay close attention to the temps before I book this cottage again. Kailua is such a great family-oriebtrd community! With so much to do and see within biking, short drive or walking distance, this house is perfectly located! We enjoyed waking up and heading to the beach to watch the sunrise. With it only being mere steps off the oceanfront, it was easy to pop back to the house for nap time or to eat and then head back. We look forward to booking our stay here again (or maybe even in the big house with more family)!

Cute little second story cottage in a great location for accessing Kailua Beach. The place could use some repairs and udpates, but overall a cozy little place with a great location for the price. Not oceanfront but you do have a couple decent views of the ocean (the main house blocks most of the ocean view), with a side gate to the public access way and a short 50m walk onto Kailua beach. No A/C so it does get hot in the cottage during the day, but you should be at the beach or out exploring during the day anyway. Overall if you keep your expectations low, it is a cute cottage in a great location and you won't find anything else this close to Kailua beach for the price.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at this convenient cottage by the beach. The house was spacious and clean. There are a couple of things to know before you stay though. It is on the second floor, and despite the nice fans in each room, it was very hot inside during the day and night. There was one portable A/C unit and all of us mostly hung out in that one bedroom on one bed to keep cool during the day. So the large common area was not really used. I was told the cottage doesn't support another portable A/C unit, but that would have been ideal. Another thing to note is that you are overlooking the larger main house's inviting backyard and pool. So if that is rented, then you will likely hear the other guests in that 8 bedroom house when they are in the backyard, and you will be super jealous of their pool. The manager let us use the pool one night when it was not rented out, and that was very generous. The manager was really nice, and answered all our questions promptly via text or phone. I would definitely stay there again, but not during a very hot season.

This place has great location. You walk to the beach in less than a few minutes. Access to restaurants and shopping are all less than 10 minutes away.. Access to the freeway also makes for nice access to other parts of the island. Shelly was very nice, helpful and was quick to respond to questions and also provided suggestions during our stay.

This is a lovely location with nearly oceanfront access to the best beach on Oahu. Magnificent walks and great swimming just steps from the door. The condo has everything you need including a comfy bed. It’s an older place like so many in Hawaii but it is well kept. Host left a nice welcome basket with coffee and fruit - great touch!

This beach cottage is on the 2nd floor with parking available . Just steps (50m) to Kailua beach through the property gate door to the public walkway. Kailua beach has waves so great for boogie boarding/ surfing/ windsurfing. If you prefer a calmer/ swimmable beach then go to Lanikai. Close to grocery store/shops / restaurants with a quick car ride. Fireworks (4th of July) can be seen on porch as well the ocean ( partial view). There’s a portable AC unit in master bedroom and fans in the second bedroom. The welcome gift basket was a nice touch. Shelley, the property manager , was quick to respond to our texts and very kind and helpful. Thank you Shelley for making our trip enjoyable!

Unreal location, perfect amount of space for the four of us, exactly as it is described and even bigger than it appears. We went to a resort after staying here and wished we had stayed out in Kailua. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. It was so nice to have easy beach access and an outdoor shower to rise off. A great location for my kite surfing husband! Shelly was easy to access , quick to respond to questions and a great host.

This cottage provides the perfect chill out laid back experience of Hawaii. Cottage is true to photos. Host is lovely and responsive. Only negative is there isn’t a grill and the oven trays need replacing. Highly recommend this cottage for a stay at Kailua

It was a perfect vacation for our family …awesome ocean views from the living room and patio….kids loved the private beach access…there were days when we went more than 6 times in a day to the beach ..Shelly was awesome in coordinating our stay…we also happened to meet the owners ( very friendly and g do own to earth)… We want to come back again next year …there is no place better than this if you have kids

The location was great and had a corner view of Kailua Beach which we loved! However the unit was run down, dated, and not clean. There was hair on the sheets :( we ended up buying our own bedding to use during our stay.
