Nestled in West Beach, this attractive house for R 14,549 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Heels in the Sand, located on West Beach Blvd. directly on the sugary beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama is a beautiful 8-bedroom 8 bath home that sleeps 24 and was updated in 2021, bringing a light, bright and coastal feel to the home with new furniture, paint and flooring. Directly across from the Little Lagoon and a comfortable walk to the Pass. Heels in the Sand is perfectly located close to restaurants and shopping, yet far enough away to feel like you are on your own private beach. This home is perfect for a family get together or a reunion with friends for a memorable vacation. 6 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas setup and removed everyday from 7am-7pm, provided the last weekend in May up to the first weekend in August. The brand-new pool decking and walk-over with Trex composite material and stainless steel cabling, makes getting to your spot in the sun easier and cooler on your feet with no worries of splinters from traditional wood. During cooler weather, requests can be made to have your private pool heated. A convenient shower is located on the walk-over making it easy to keep the sand outside and the inside floors less sandy. The bedrooms are marine animal themed, and all have bathrooms attached. Starting from the top, fourth floor, the Sting Ray room has a King bed and small private balcony, with large shower and spacious bathroom. The Sea Horse room has a queen bed, tub/shower combo. The Poop Deck has 2 sets of twin bunk beds, and the bathroom has a shower. The third floor has the Master, Octopus Room, with a King bed, entrance to shared Balcony with a gorgeous Ocean /Beach view, jacuzzi tub and standalone shower with 2 separate vanities. Next, is the Starfish Room with a King bed, entrance to a shared balcony, wider door making it easier for a wheelchair, stability bars around toilet and stool/bench in the shower with a low curb entrance and a pedestal sink. The Sea Turtle Room has a King bed and shower with a view of the Lagoon. The Whale Room is fun with a twin bunk as well as a Queen Bunk. Each bed has its own 32” smart TV. The bathroom is spacious and has a shower. On the Second/Main floor is the Sea Shell Room, with a Queen bed. The bathroom has a second entrance to the hallway and serves the Main floor. In the Media Room, there is a Queen-sized pull-out sofa. We have rented this house two years in a row because it is ideal for our family beach trip each summer. My wife and I rent the house and our 5 adult children and their families come. The house accommodates all 22 of us - each family has a bedroom and bath and the grandkids love the bunk rooms plus the pool. The house is spacious - the kitchen is great with two frigs and two dishwashers - plus you can walk direct to the beach on a great broadwalk. So its perfect for our family and can't wait to come back.

We had an amazing time at Heels in the Sand! 12 adults and 9 children under the age of 9! Beach front with a pool…what more could we ask for! Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for everyone! The kids loved the bunk rooms, and the downstairs media room was a hit! I highly recommend this house for family reunions or large groups!

Great house for 19 of us - plenty of room, each had our own room and bathroom. There were 2 minor (normal homeowner) issues while we were there, but they were responsive and had someone out to check on them and fix the problem quickly. House is right on the beach, with a dedicated walkway, nice deck and pool. Furniture was comfortable, house was clean. It was a great spot for our large family (4 siblings, their kids ages 29 - 10) - overall a good experience.

Great views and beach access. Elevator was perfect foe those who had a hard time navigating stairs. Pool was great for those who wanted to get wet but didn’t want the sand experience!

We enjoyed our stay, the linens, (sheets and comforters) did not fit the beds very well, they kept coming off the corners at night. Found hairs in our bed that were not ours. There were screws that were sticking up in decks, they were not level with the wood. Also not enough towels, hand towels and wash cloths in each bathroom.

We think it’s a great place but it’s time for maintenance and proper cleaning. We had to call for a pool cleaning on our 2nd day, when Cox pool company arrived to clean it, there were no chemicals registering on the gauge. The return register for the A/C was covered in black dust. It’s time for a deep spring cleaning. Many broken floor tiles in main living, a number of rotten boards on the walk to beach. Furniture is also beginning to break down, sleeper sofa is not sleep-able and needs to be replaced. This place needs to be brought back up to quality. When you spend these kind of dollars on a rental, you expect it to be properly maintained.
Overall though we enjoyed being there.

We had a few minor problems but the service and response time was great! Property was directly on the beach... kitchen was well appointed as we ate nearly all of our meals in with 20 in our family! Gathering space was important as well as bedrooms for quiet time! It was great! We would go back in a heartbeat!

They charge almost $500 for cleaning fee so you would expect the house to be spotless but the floor was full of sand, there was someone else clothing behind one pillow, there was a big blood stain on another pillow & the furniture & AC vents were very dusty. Oh & out of the 9 tvs in the house only like 3 worked. I called to let management know but no one answered my call. I would love to stay there again bc the house is in a great area & the view is beautiful but they would have to fix those issues first.

We stay in the Gulf Shores area a lot, we arrived at the property and it was just like the pictures but even nicer, there were a total of 19 of us, plenty of room. The first floor has a king bedroom on that floor with 2 living room area and plenty of eating space in the kitchen with the bars and 8 bar stools, and 12 chairs at the dining table, use the elevator or take the stairs where you will find 2 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 king, and a bunk room, the one with the full size bed on bottom, and the laundry room, the up another floor is the last 2 bedrooms with king size beds and the additional bunk room, each of the rooms with amazing bathrooms! On the deck was a pool 4 ft deep, with plenty of seating around it and a short walk to the ocean!! The pictures don't do justice for this amazing house, we loved it and will definitely be back!! As someone else said there are 2 of everything, there is 2 dish washers, plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and even a ice maker which is really nice! Hardwood floors and tile throughout!
