Located in the center of town, nestled in the wooded acreage of the Mountain View neighborhood, this property features a stunning view of the woods, a pergola covered patio with grill, an open floor plan, & a beautiful state of the art kitchen. With it's new cedar siding, this "mountain" modern is sure to offer the perfect dose of "zen" that you might be needing. Our home is 4bed/3bath, plus a nursery off the master bedroom, perfect for your little one, or an air mattress on the floor for kiddos. The home will sleep 10-12 people (queen air mattress for 11-12). Conveniently located 12-15 min to downtown Waco, The Magnolia Silos & Baylor, with HEB & Target up the street, you can't beat this location. When picking a home in which to stay, the neighborhood is very important for safety. This home is in a great neighborhood and we have never been afraid to go outside or take walks, even at night.

Super cute, excellent owner communication. Provided recommendations for food, Magnolia history, etc. Read their instructions carefully & all is good. Their warning about the driveway/hill, etc are spot on!

Beautiful home! Everything you could want or need in the kitchen! The converted garage was perfect for the teenage kids! Perfect evening sitting around the fire pit outside! Only 10 minutes from downtown! Great location!

This property was perfect for our family get together! The kitchen is stocked above and beyond what you need! The openness of the living space and kitchen was perfect! My wife, friends and I stayed at this wonderful property to attend a race in Waco. The size of this well appointed property was perfect for our group of 7. There was plenty of room for all and the kitchen was very well equipped, including lots of spices and such which are often missing. No regrets at all about choosing this property.

I gave this trip as a Christmas gift for my daughters. We loved the house and it slept 6 comfortably. There were some items missing like dishwasher detergent, Kleenex tissues, trash bags and the kitchen soap container was empty. That being said we enjoyed our stay.

There wasn't much NOT to love about it. When you love Waco, Baylor, Magnolia, Chip and Joanna, and modern decor...this place hits it all! It was super special to get to watch the episode again while sitting in the place was like being in the show. I especially loved sitting at the bar 'shelf' while drinking coffee in the morning having my quiet time and appreciating the many trees outside. Thanks to Joanna for pushing that one through...now we want one in our home :)

Perfect for our Waco visit! Quiet and a good amount of space. House is as pictured. Lovely green views and light from the mostly glass back. Excellent home for hanging out and catching up. Close to everything. Well stocked market 1 mile away. Would stay again.

Had to sweep floor on first night found died cockroach in addition bedroom, cheerios, dirt , and dog hair. Grass clippings and little rocks in garage bedroom sheets on bed. Garage bedroom air conditioner in bedroom did not cool. Bathroom air conditioner worked in garage great. Lights in garage bedroom bathroom did not work. The shower in Master bathroom has very slow drain, you will have an inch of water in floor of shower when you are done. Shortage of towels for how many people could sleep in house. Owner needs to maybe hire different cleaning crew cause they are not getting moneys worth right now. The design of house loved and setting great. But need to do deep clean of house.

The perfect set-up for our group of 11 women to stay at and bond…the open living concept was perfect for eating together and hanging out. We also enjoyed coffee on the patio in the morning. Beds were super comfortable

The host provided excellent advance communication about the property & Waco in general. The spacious setup of the home allows for guests on one side of the house to live independent of the other side with a great open living room/kitchen space to meet in the middle. Wish we would have had more time as hiring a chef to prepare a meal in the home would have allowed us the opportunity to create a special memory at the property & there is plenty of space to do that. Would highly recommend!

It was so fun to stay at a house that was on Fixer Upper. (especially being able to watch it on TV while we were there) The house is very nice. A short drive to all the touristy things. Great getaway.

We weren’t in the house much as we were busy with planned activities, the main feature being Baylor graduation ( granddaughters graduation. The house is very comfortable, especially the beds! Great memory maker!

This mid-century modern home provided a great place for multiple small families to share space over Thanksgiving while joining the rest of the extended family staying at the nearby Hillcrest Estate for meals and other gatherings. The house was comfortable for both socializing and sleeping. The kitchen is accommodating and complete with all essentials needed for meal preparation. The living room is full of natural light as well as views of the natural setting of the sloping rear yard. A private patio area is located on the side of the house but rainy weather prevented using that space.

We had a great time! The house is cool. Even if it wasn't on Fixer Upper we would definitely stay again!!! The room with the two full beds was our families favorite. We watched movies and hung out. The beds are super comfy! The decor and linens were totally my style. Loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waco Mid Mod. The house is large and arranged so that everyone enjoyed privacy. The garage conversion was especially enjoyed by our grandson, who dubbed it "his room". Three bathrooms were handy when we were getting ready to attend our niece's wedding. We had great fun watching the renovation of the home on the owner's TIVO! And the kitchen-wow. Completely outfitted with any type of pottery, pans, appliances anyone could need. Finally, the owners were friendly and immediately responsive. We will definitely stay again in the future!

We were thrilled to stay in the Season 2 Mid-Century Mod home from Fixer Upper. We had a great time talking about all of the stories the walls could tell of renovation. The house had plenty of room for the 8 of us and the common area was perfect for all of us to hang out. Not too far from Magnolia Market and close to lots of amenities. The best part was how private the residence felt, tons of daylight with all the windows but with all the trees, it felt very peaceful. Looking forward to future stays in Waco!

Great Fixer Upper house. This is the second time I’ve stayed in this home. Needs some maintenance but they’re very good managers and I’m sure it’ll be done.
