I enjoyed this house. It was definitely big enough for me and my family that I was visiting. Easy enough to send kids downstairs and adults hang out upstairs. However, they yard was not mowed, couldn’t do anything except sit on the balcony(that was also not covered) it wasn’t bad at night, but when the sun was hitting the deck it got a little to hot to sit outside. Maybe a table that has an umbrella. There also isn’t a TV in the living room so we couldn’t do a family movie night like we wanted. The location is great and within minutes of everything. The neighbors weren’t the greatest, one would rev his motorcycle at random hours of the night.

Great Location, Some Maintenance Needed

The home was nice and charming, in a great location, and had a nice fenced in backyard for the children in our group to play in. It was close to everything that we were in town to visit, only 10 mins from Manitou Springs, and close to the base of Pikes Peak. The home had many nice updates, and it was comfortable stay, however, they had a few things that needed some maintenance. The upstairs bathroom door handle needed tightened and/ or changed because the lock on the door did not function and / or would lock someone in without the lock being turned. The hook to hang up the curtains over the sliding back door had been pulled from the wall and not properly reattached, causing the curtain rod to fall off the one end. The hide a bed in the couch downstairs was very saggy and the queen bed in the basement had a broken bar in the frame underneath. These were small maintenance items that didn't greatly affect our stay, but were noticeable and somewhat inconvenient . They had plenty of sheets and pillows for the kiddos sleeping on the pull out couches downstairs, and it was a great location for hiking in the red rock open space park just down the street. Overall a great stay.

The best thing about this property was the location. The neighborhood was a little run down but you are close to hiking trails and attractions. There were many details about the house that needed some TLC. Drawers that didn't work, curtains that weren't hung correctly, lights that worked most of the time, screens needing to be repaired, etc. It met our basic needs but thought we would get more for the money.

Absolutely amazing home...a Colorado Dream!

Absolutely amazing home...a Colorado Dream!

Such a welcoming, spacious retreat. We spent 10 days that really helped us hit the reset button. The gorgeous views of Garden of The Gods are breathtaking. There was so much space for guests. Half our family sleeps in the other half are early risers so the basement was perfect for the late sleepers. The house was super clean, well stocked and in a safe area. I wanted to stay forever! Beds are really comfy! Tony was easy to communicate with and gracious.

Loved the house. It worked perfect for us, we had a large group 6 adults and 5 kids. The house has everything you could need and more. Location is great, no problem with traffic as mentioned in another review. Only suggestion would be adding baby gate and some cosmetic repairs needed. Overall, would stay there again.

While moving we plopped down here for a 60 day stint. If you are into mountain biking its a great place because Red Rocks open space is just down the way. Great hiking and mountain biking. Lots of deer around. The property manager is supper communicative. Additinally its stocked with stuff like dish washing detergent, trash bags, shampoo etc. So thats a plus. Awesome hiking and biking. Good selection of amazon essentials cookware in the kitchen which is a plus. The downsides are its a VERY loud neighborhood and kind of terrible to get in and out of. The highway is very close so its pretty noisy. Getting in and out of the neighborhood can be frustrating. You are trying to make a left turn across a 2 lane road with a 55mph speed limit. Depending on the time of day this can be a 30 second wait or up to 8 minutes. The road is main path in and out of the mountains so on sunday afternoon, when everybody is coming home it can be quite a wait. That being said, if you are only here a couple of nights I dont think any of these things would matter too much. All and all a good stay.

A very clean property. Perfectly located for all the things to do in the area. Red Rock Canyon a block away was a pleasant surprise for some great trails. Host was quick to reply to any questions and had all necessary amenities. The 6 of us would stay again. Thanks Tony!

We enjoyed our time in this home. It was a great location to stay and was close to all of the attractions Toni suggested. He gave us very good information about where to go. I did have some issues during the stay but Toni was quick to troubleshoot. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet getaway but not wanting to go far from the city.

We had a great time staying at this property. It’s very conveniently located to key sites in the Colorado Springs area like Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, etc. It’s also really convenient to get up into the mountains from here. The layout is great for families with young kids as well as there is a large bedroom downstairs for the parents connected to a bunk room for the kids. Overall a great place to stay.

Our stay was wonderful. The home was just right for us, and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic. The Red Rocks Open Space was a short walk from the house and a great place to take a short hike. Near lots of food and easy to get to everything. Would definitely stay here again!
