Clean. Quiet guests. Friendly useful front desk people. Nice breakfast.
Air conditioning limited to no lower than 22 celsius. The last night we were there a restaurant 100 meters away had a boom boom horrible loud music party until after midnight . Without earplugs there would have been no sleep. Church bells ring every hour.

The room itself was nice and the interior was good.
This is a story about expections vs reality ( see photos).
When booking Deluxe room with a city view, on the photos it has a very beautiful Cathedral view.
However, be aware! This is not the reality unless you're lucky (we were not).
When choosing places to stay, we value the view as the most important, and the ammenities/ interior is secondary.
There is one Delux room on each floor. From memory, believe there are 5 floors in total. When booking this room and this "view", there is however no guarantee which floor will you be given. We were given the 1st floor. The problem is that only the 4th and 5th has a view to the Cathedral (1, 2, 3 are not).
On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd your view will be obstructed by an enormous tree covering the whole balcony (see photos).
When confronted the reception about it we were told that the other deluxe rooms (which are all the same type of booking just on a higher floor) are already checked in, and there was nothing they can do about it.
Adittional to this, we were staying 9 nights in Crete in 5 different places, not once was the Netflix function on the TV disabled. Here however, despite the fact that this TV has a Netflix function, it's disabled. The question, is why? How does the fact that I would watch Netflix instead of the TV be a problem?
So be very careful about booking the Deluxe room with a city view! Unlike the photos on Booking.com, it is a complete gamble wich floor will you get and whether you'll be having any view at all.

Great location, great cafe next door (recommend ordering off the menu at least once - their food is delicious) and staff were super friendly and helpful.

The attached restaurant for breakfast was very convenient and served a nice variety of food choices. The staff was very friendly and assisted us many times.
Unfortunately there is a light installed above the entry door to the rooms which is very bright. The light could not be turned off however the staff did agree to cover it. The glow made it very difficulty to sleep. Maybe a different bulb?

the room was very nice with a fantastic view of the beautiful Agios Minas (St. Menas) church.
room was very clean.
Modern bathroom and very good shower.
breakfast is quite disappointing. we stayed for 2 nights and had 2 days cold breakfast. there wasn’t much choice for food. all food including the fried eggs were cold. Some of the food was put in covered reheating containers but they were also cold with no heat at all.

The hotel staff is remarkably helpful and kind. Congratulations! The hotel cleanliness is on the spot. One morning the room had no hot water but that was just a mishap. I will definitely visit again this hotel.
The quality of the breakfast is phenomenal. But the menu is rather limited to a few items. Also, because of the fact that the dinning room is shared with a 3rd party shop, people come and go all the time buying coffee. Quite annoying TBH.
In the price include an additional 6 to 10 Euro for parking per day because there is only one private parking spot close to the hotel that you can rent and there is no hope to find free space around.

The staff were helpful and polite. They gave me a free room upgrade and allowed a late check out (2 hours after advertised time) with no extra fees.
The location is very good.
The breakfast was very good.
The room was clean and the balcony is big and the view to the square is nice.

Nice location and a well taken care of modern hotel with excellent view of the square of Agios Minas. Very warm and attentive staff.
Room service with a selection of a few local dishes (for example cheeses and sausages) could have been nice to have (but not need to have :-)). And an umbrella for the sun on the balcony.

The hotel is very good located and there are some nice cafes and restaurants in the area. Ee had the economy room which was a bit smaller than the other rooms, but for as more than sufficient. Modern interior and ver clean.
The breakfast was not as we would have expected for a 4 star hotel. If we come again to Iraklion, as the hotel itself is ver nice, we would go to the cafes in the area for breakfast instead of booking the one from the hotel. However, if you are not that much of a foodie, then it might be sufficent for you

Excellent location and wifi. Nice balcony view. The staff was good but there were some things I asked for that may have not been communicated well due to a language barrier. They provided great restaurant recommendations.
Room was oddly organized, with a huge safe in the middle of the main shelf. Minibar was unnecessary. I was traveling alone but room would probably be small for two people.

the water in the bathroom was either to hot or to cold and when it comes to cleaning.. could be better.

It's a no-nonsense facility, close to the centre. We stayed overnight before leaving for chania the next day. The room was clean, staff polite and helpful. The window did not open, which was a bit uncomfortable if you are not accustomed to blaring air conditioning.

Amazing location - oldtown and all the shops are nearby, 10mins to the harbour. Plenty of goos cafes and restaurants around, just a few min walk.
Nice modern room, amazinf Church view from our window. Very comfortable quality beds with the nice flat screen TV in front.
Very professional staff:) arranged a taxi and let us keep our luggage in the lobby afer the check-out time. Appreciatted!
Everyday we were woken-up at 7am by the bells from the Church. They play melodies. Wasnt very unpleasant, but I would rather wake-up
by myself. Also, pretty noisy in the late evenings because of the many families dining at the restaurants below.
There is no free parking nearby and no street parking in front to unload your luggage even for 5mins (very inconvenient if you are travelling with a car - you have to find parking elsewhere and bring all your stuff by foot).
The bathroom, even though very pretty and modern, has no ventilator and almost no sound isolation - you can hear everything other person does from inside the room (have in mind if traveling with someone that you are not very comfortable with). The side mirror is almost falling off the wall. The were no hangers for towels to dry (except one inside the shower), so they didnt.
Breakfast is decent - some eggs some pastries and greek youghurt with options. Not many veggies, no fruits. All the same everyday. Staff in the restaurant could be more attentive.
