Serviceable stay and was a good introduction to Eastbourne.

The in-house swimming pool was a great extra and was part of the appeal for booking. It was close enough to be 10 minutes away from the peir part of the parade. Some friendly and helpful staff, some less so.

Some of the items in my room didn't work and the cleanliness off areas should have been better, such as dust all over the desk, limescale and cracks on the shower doors, dirty tea spoons on the very limited tea tray, stains on the very old carpet. The light and spoons were reticfied promptly once reported to the front desk. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Half my order was missing on the first day, the porridge was really milky, they were able to do gluten free toast which was helpful, very little water in the jug and the pastries were very dry.

Our stay in York house

The room was the best we have stayed in out of the four hotels we have used before and the breakfast was excellent.

We didn't find any problems with anything.its a little tired ,but for value it is to be expected.

Bathroom shower rail was very rusty And grab rail in bathroom very rusty No bath mat as shower area was very slippery.

Enjoyed our stay

Luxury touches on a modest budget

Having a warm clean pool available with good opening hours turns a work trip into a little treat. Room service makes for a bit of rest and luxury feel after a long hard day. Staff here are all lovely.

Honestly, nothing. I come back again and again here, it's a great place.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff; really nice hotel.

The room was great - we paid for upgrade to a double with sea room, and I'm glad we were offered that option - it was a lovely room. Hotel location was excellent and there was a nice friendly 'vibe' around the place. Staff were good too. And the price we got for an extra two days was good too...thanks to Katalin for that, and all the rest of the staff that served us at the bar too...we'll definitely return again.

Very poor breakfast for the price. Cheap & nasty. Swimming pool had murky water Bedroom erybpokey, no air and had damaged fittings and ripped quilt cover

Location, swimming pool, friendly helpful staff, bathroom with walk-in shower.

Very pleasant stay at Best Western hotel.

Location of hotel is great as on the beach front with easy access to the pier & bars/restaurants & shops. Our room was at the back of the building so was extremely quiet for a good nights sleep. Bed very comfy. Room was spotlessly clean.

Was perfect for what we needed

Staff and and location, ɓreakfast was amazing

the only disappointment point is that buggy or wheelchair user can't go the main door when it's in rotation door is in operation and the comment got from reception staff was we had to use the fire exit I ask was it be able to open from the out side his reply was no you can't you have to pop your head though the main door and ask for it to be opened, witch would be difficult ìf perant or wheelchair user is on Thire own

Lovely weekend in Eastbourne

Great location, beach front & seafront rooms have lovely views - restaurant, bar, pool (if needed/wanted) Mini Sainsbury & Tesco within walking distance. Pier also walking distance. Dog friendly. Staff very friendly & helpful

Bar & restaurant were not cheap. Building is old so bit of a strange layout with narrow corridors & doors in some places & a little dated. Traffic can be noisy if sitting out front with food / drink due to seafront ,

Lovely night away with all my family.

Reception staff are really lovely and helpful. Pool is great, nice size and lovely and warm. Location is very good and parking is cheap with £2 permit from hotel. Can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t have it. Would defo stay again 🙂

Very nice hotel typical Eastbourne hotel. Pool looked clean didn't use it but good if you have kids.

Some hotels close by were handed over to immigrants not very nice atmosphere 😕 Not the hotels fault

Good value for money, good location

All needs met, room was great and met expectations. Nice location.

Hallways where a maze and needed decorating as it felt a bit outdated, the tea and coffee left made just about enough for 2 cups and the view from the rear of the building wasnt great as there was scaffolding. Pool out of service at the time of arrival.
