Great location. Quiet area next to the beach. Room is cosy, clean and warm.
Some folded bed at the front of my door. I heard a loud noise like something falling down and hitting my door. Probably someone just passed by and pushed it accidentally. It blocked my exit. Not a big problem, but I would like to have a quiet morning and not struggle to get out of the room.

Nothing it’s a dump, paid for a studio apartment and got a tiny room in the basement. The stairs leading to the room are very dangerous. Was told I paid for a budget room even though I paid more for a studio apartment

The advert states this is an apartment.. not a room. A very small dirty dated room with mould that’s been painted over. Windows that don’t shut properly so it’s freezing at night. The state of the bathroom was just disgusting. Holes in the bath with a manky old shower curtain. The pictures advertised online were nothing like what we received. We’d booked (3beds) a double bed and two bunk beds which we did not receive. We’d been given only a double and a single bed and told we’d been upgraded. So we only had (2beds!) and a disgusting room. We were then told we’d have to pay for another bed! we then had to prove what we’d booked(3 beds) before they’d tried getting us to pay for another one again anyway! I really wish we just packed up our stuff and left at this point.. we were given a crappy uncomfortable fold out bed after arguing the point that we’d paid for 3 beds! It left us with no space in the room, it was cramped damp and overpriced for what it was. Overall a terrible experience. Will never go back to this complete shambles of a hotel. It’s a pity I can’t upload a video to show just how bad it was.

The staff were excellent and deserve more recognition for their efforts.
The check in process is long and without having someone to check you in doesn't work very well, there were numerous people complaining about the check in process. After a 6hr drive, an easy check in is all you want.
The TV in room 101 is impossible to watch from the bed. (Picture included)

Location was perfect. It was really close to the Marathon finish line!
It was very run down, the decor was tacky and out dated. Our room had a terrible smell of sick. The guy that checked us in really tried to help us change the room but the “manager” on WhatsApp was not at all helpful. We got given an air fresher and he opened the window! It was not very clean, the bed was awful and squeaked on every movement. I had booked this room as I wanted a bath rather than a shower due to running the marathon on Sunday. It was not a bath! It was more like a tub. I’m 5ft 3 and I couldn’t straighten my legs when sitting. There were the remains of what looked like a bug or fly which had been squashed on the bathroom tiles and not cleaned off. The television aerial was blue tacked to the wall, but only a few channels worked anyway. The main light didn’t work so we had to have the 2 side lamps only. Overall a complete disappointment and I would not recommend you stay here.

Nothing, This hotel is a scam
The double booked my room and didn't tell me or booking.com I found out on the day at 5pm after chasing them for the key code to get in on the busiest weekend of the year. The said I agreed to a full refund during the week which I didn't and didn't even speak to them. Booking.com also still had it active on my account so they had to try and find me alternative accommodation which was no good. A nightmare of a weekend. There is no one to speak to at this hotel all done on Whatapp very doggy place stay away.

Location.
Leaking sink in bathroom, the hotel done a “tempt fix “ with a bowl and a towel, but the floor was constantly soaking wet which was a hazard.
Paper thin walls, didn’t sleep well at all as you can hear everything going on in that hotel no matter what floor you were on.
There was a man hanging around at the front on crutches (potentially a drunk/homeless man) who hurled abuse at me when I left the hotel to grab coffees, lucky he was there when I got back as I was scared. Couple of hours later when going to leave the hotel, him and a friend were trying to enter the building, banging on the door handle, repeatedly trying to enter an incorrect code, swearing and shouting. We waited for them to leave but in the end they managed to get in. There was no one around and nothing we could have done. This happened again in the middle of the night Saturday as I could hear everything down in the lobby and out the front of the hotel.

This was a second booking at the Brunswick Square Hotel, after having a wonderful visit this time last year. However, the room was in such a poor state. Light fixtures broken off, smashed window panes, shower drain blocked, radiator gurgling throughout the night.
The room was also unclean with visible dirt under the bed.
There was also n extra single bed in the room, which we hadn't booked for. Which meant we had far less space.
Also found it quite difficult with the staffless check in.

IL personale molto efficente e disponibile, Il letto molto comodo, la posizione perfetta e centrale e vicina ai mezzi pubblici ed al mare.
L'hotel è bello esteticamente dal di fuori ha una bella room wait dove ci si puo rilassare ma le camere sono molto vecchie, il bagno è piccolo con vasca piccola, lavandino con due rubinetti acqua calda e fredda (quindi difficile da miscelare insieme) e le finiture interne un po vecchie inoltre il rumore delle altre stanze è alto e quindi si fatica a dormire se qualcuno parla ad alta voce o cammina forte o sulle scale parla.

Hotellet ligger godt på en rolig sidegade lige ned til vandet.
Værelset var ok rent da opholdet startede.
Sengen var ok og sengelinned var rent.
Hotellet har ingen House-keeping. Det skal man åbenbart bestille dagen før kl 20. Men det fortæller de ikke gæsterne! Så vi boede i tre dage med beskidte kopper og våde håndklæder. Til gengæld er der store skilte over alt med, at man får bøder for at ryge.
Vi fik først et værelse i kælderen ( hvilket ikke er unormalt i England!) Føltes som at bo på en losseplads/i pelikan storage med opmagasinerede møbler og byggeaffald. Vi betalte for en opgradering til ‘junior suite’ på 5. Sal. Der var ingen knager til håndklæder og kun én sæbe-dispenser på badeværelset, som hang højt på væggen, så man kun kunne nå den fra bruseren og ikke fra håndvasken.
Gulvtæppe og møbler var alle af ældre dato og passede ikke godt sammen.
Man kan ikke få morgenmad og det gamle opholdsrum, hvor man kunne hygge sig om aftenen er nedlagt af de nye ejere. Føles mere som en pengemaskine end et sted, der gerne vil give gæster en god oplevelse. Vi kommer ikke tilbage.

O Hotel não estava mal localizado, estando perto da marginal. A limpeza era aceitável.
Primeiro, Eu não gostei da receção, que basicamente era um balcão com vários objetos e alimentos na prateleira em frente. O Hotel tem a porta aberta durante a noite, já que os funcionários não permanecem no local e funcionam remotamente. Tem 5 pisos e não tem elevador. Existe muito barulho nas instalações, sobretudo á noite, houve particularmente um episódio em que uma das hóspedes esteve a gritar durante muito tempo, pelo que eu tive que informar o staff por mensagem na App do Booking.com, já que não existem funcionários durante a noite. No geral o alojamento deveria ser classificado como pensão e não Hotel.

The location was close to the Sea, the surrounding was a living area.
The Check In didn‘t work. I have to Vice all my data more than once and at the end i didn‘t get the promised code. It is very annoying that i am getting the deposit back in 2 weeks after my stay. The doors are very thin, you can hear everything from outside. It is an old house with a nice character, the adaptions to a hotel where made in a very cheap way.

I liked that the room had a bath albeit small and damaged. I also liked the location.
The check in experience was not good. We turned up an hour after check in to our room not ready and we weren’t the only ones. There were several unnecessary charges which thankfully booking.com had sorted for us but not for the others checking in and they were required to pay an extra £100 deposit. The room itself was £250 for 1 night and advertised as a ‘presidential suite with balcony’. The room was small and not cleaned to expectation. I removed the sofa to plug in my charger and found Nitrogen oxide canisters underneath which are illegal so I was very unhappy. Additionally, the bath had cracks all over and the sofa had marks all over it. The balcony was not what was advertised, it was just the outer part of the building/roof and was less than 1m wide so we couldn’t stand on it. Overall, we were very disappointed.

Ideal location as I was visiting someone in next road clean good tea coffee facilities and an iron which I was delighted about lol nice staff smile and the whole world smiles back ❤️✌️

Location of Hotel...(well not sure hotel is the right description) to the cricket ground where we attended a concert...

Check in was awful.. had an email to say online check in was open and a link would be sent...nothing was sent...At physical check in we were told we needed something with our name and address on it (then told its on our web site...not helpful at all) thankfully other guests who were having the same trouble trouble helped us out (it was gone the advised check in time of 3pm luckily we got a room straight away sadly they didn't so not good)...at check out asked the receptionist to book us a taxi and one would heave thought we were asking a really difficult question and she said we don't have taxi numbers ...arghhhh
As for the room (we had 302) sold as a standard double for £168....it was really a small double with a 4'6 bed and very little room to swing a cat ..the shower room was very very very small and sadly no toiletries (soap and shampoo)......the sink was cracked and the shaving mirror was missing from the holder....The floor was most certainly not flat and one could feel the slanting back towards the bed.....I would sum it up as an Old building that's been converted into multiple rooms with private facilities (HMRO type)...very few if any facilities other than a poor reception

Misunderstood hotel advert, parking was not included nor available free of charge, nor on the road outside hotel, had to park over 15minutes walk from hotel, not impressed.
Also dissapointed spa was at extra cost

Location was perfect for a visit to Brighton and Hove, The Sea front was only a stone throw away, Receptionist was very pleasant
Nice Modern Shower cubicle and shower. Reasonably priced.
The Room was in need of updating. The bed was sloping down towards the headboard due to the lie of the floorboards
The bed should have been propped to even this out. The bed was not particularly comfortable we did not sleep well.
Not much the hotel can do but the only thing you can see from the window is a brick wall close up.

I really don't like being negative but I have nothing positive to say about this hotel, only the young lady behind the desk did her upmost to help me.
First room stank and had no loo seat. Second room was OK but the whole place could do with some money spent on it. As the first room was so bad I was offered a cottage type accommodation down the road which was very wired...Two beds downstairs and six more upstairs. Although locked the back bathroom down opens up in a gents or ladies toilets from a venue next door. And the downstairs backdoor is boarded up. We had booked myself, wife and friend for two nights but only stayed the one (it was that bad). But I have to say again the young lady on reception did her best
