Everything from start to finish. Very friendly staff. Room was lovely and even though it overlooked the station there was no noise.

Loved the decor and style of hotel. Room was as described but bathroom was not cleaned or checked properly as we found empty beer bottle. Reception quick to fix and complimentary drink offered.

Everything about this hotel was great! Staff, location, amenities, ambiance, the decor is beautiful. The chandalier on to of the spiral staurcase is amazing. Champagne bar is great. Connected to the train station, so very convenient. We stayed twice during our vacation. Will return. Close to everything

Room was quite far away from main area of Hotel.

Daryl on reception was extremely helpful during check in. I would say he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and was happy to make recommendations.

The grout in the bathroom is in need of an upgrade!

Everything about the hotel is perfect. Staff are always lovely and very helpful and we really enjoy a visit to the Champagne Bar when we stay and the lovely choice on the breakfast menu.

Rude staff ignoring me as I waited at reception. I also called for room service and was immediately told it was a limited menu. When I asked for crisps or nuts I was told there were none. Shocking service.

Location is fabulous and very convenient.

No coffee/tea making facilities in the room.

We attended for our mums 80th birthday. The staff were amazing at accommodating our requests and going the extra mile to ensure we were so well taken care of. I can’t recommend it highly enough . High praise for Mark the concierge xxx

Stayed here over Christmas and couldn’t have asked for better accommodation! The staff was extremely lovely and accommodating, the hotel was decorated beautifully, the location was very central, and our room was so comfortable and spacious. Would definitely stay here again! Big shoutout to the staff for making our Christmas so fun

All windows were high so felt like a prison could not close the high window blind so light coming through

The property is stunning and the location is so handy to Buchanan St and Argyle St. The breakfast was also incredible - highly recommend getting it at the hotel. Comfortable beds too! We were there christmas, and it was so lovely for us and the kids to wake up Christmas Day and have a Christmas stocking on their door.

The front facing staff. The car park on Oswald St is so expensive, even with the validation card from the hotel, £17 down from £24 a day. Mitchell St parking is better at £12 down from £18, just a bit harder to get to and from because of the one way roads.

Easy and pleasant check in Very thoughtful to receive a biscuit and a drinks voucher on arrival. Lovely big room and excellent facilities. Fabulous location.

We did have an issue at the end of our function. Drinks purchased were 'cleared' from the table while we danced ..on asking the staff to replace a malt whisky which I was using our company drinks tokens for...I was deceptively given Drambuie liqueur which the barman tried to hide the label...I questioned him on this and he said 'it's all we have!" Not friendly, not helpful and deliberately mis selling.

The location is superb, close to downtown, at the central train station Toiletries okay.

It was impossible to have dinner at the place. The first night I was informed the time for food has passed. The second night it was another different explanation

The room was next to the service lift so it was very noisy when the lift was being used.

We were visiting Glasgow from Canada and arrived in the evening of the 30th of November for a 3 night stay. After travelling for 20 hours we were looking forward to our time staying at the voco Grand Central Hotel. On check in we were informed there was an event going on that evening and if there was any issues to let them know. As we had been travelling for so long I requested that we be moved but were informed that no other rooms were available. We did not hear anything and enjoyed a good nights sleep. Unfortunately the following two nights were awful. It felt like my wife and I were trying to sleep inside a night club, not a 4 star hotel. On both evenings we complained but were informed there was no options to move us. On checkout the duty manager Jesse offered to refund us for the two nights. It has been over a week and we have still not been refunded. Booking.com has offered us 58 GBP compensation. Not good enough, at $300 per night I expect to have a reasonably quite room, not banging dance music to 1am. Sadly, very disappointed with both the hotel and booking.com's lack of resolution. Impacted our short time in Glasgow, would not recommend
