Absolutely wonderful. We had the most gorgeous view of Moorea from our overwater bungalow. The bungalow was really really wonderful. The room was top notch with quality touches.

Hotels facilities are amazing from pools to the gym, restaurants are nice and food is amazingly delicious and fresh (hubby has a lot of diet requirements and the chef and waiters were always willing to attend all of his requests). Staff were super helpful and always polite. Everyone we met on the way always greeted us. The view from the hotel was superb: beautiful Moorea island and nice shades of blue in the sea.
The only thing that I think it could improve is the offer of shuttle service from airport to the hotel and back. Taxi is really cheap but as they don’t accept card we have to withdraw local money… it’s such a short ride that all guests would appreciate the gesture. Concierge did advise us about it though. Just a matter of management decision I guess.

Emplacement

- large expansive property with amazing pool for kids and adults as well as I loved the lagoon swimming area with an abundance of tropical fish to recreate the feeling of swimming in the ocean from your hotel.
-good availability of restaurants and dining options
-friendly reception and helpful staff
-I liked the extensive listing of allergens on the menu and attention to detail regarding this.
- room was clean, comfortable bed and modern.
-close to airport
-turtle rehab area also nice
- food was better than in some of the other resorts we stayed in
- hallways of the hotel are old and musty smelling. Fortunately the room was recently renovated and not reflective of the hallways but the hotel was dated and could do with a refresh in the common areas.
- price- very expensive for what you get.

One of the better resorts near the Papeete airport. Very international, resort feel, with great pools, lagoon and Polynesian shows. We stayed 2 nights after a really late arrival at the beginning of our vacation. Was a great option and we would happily return. Boat, scuba and other activities are available on property giving it a more true resort feel vs some of the other nearby lodging options. It’s also extremely close to the airport - a big plus when arriving late. Check in was fast and everyone extremely nice as pretty much the norm in French Polynesia.
Food was expensive for what it was (even by Tahiti standards). If you have time there are great dining options a short cab ride away in Papeete. Cabs are expensive in town 20-30 per ride each way (for a 5 or 10 min trip). Best to rent a car. No true beach on property.

The resort is clean, interesting, pleasant staff.
The resort is OVERVALUED! TOO EXPENSIVE! They are obviously after every penny they can get from the customer. $50 per person for breakfast buffet. $130 for a simple dinner for 2 (no drinks - just water)... we left eating bread rolls on our way out! I would NOT re-book this resort in the future.

Great facilities with the most lovely check in staff
Could have better water pressure in the shower and instead of just 2 bottles of water could stock the mini fridge with selection of drinks

The site is lovely, with a fabulous view of Mo'orea. It was easy to get to the property from the airport by taxi. Because we arrived on an early flight into Papeete, we also got the the property early, and were offered the opportunity to shower in a complimentary room. Afterward, we were welcomed to check into our room earlier than the usual 3 pm check-in time. That was very much appreciated. The common areas were attractively decorated and well-maintained.
We paid for a night before a cruise (June 3, 2023) then the cruise line paid for a Day Room afterward (June 13, 2023). The emphasis of maintenance seems to be on the common areas. Regarding our room, it was not up to the standards we would have expected. There were scrapes on the wood in the room and outside, as well. The complimentary toiletries in the room were in a small cardboard box...not particularly elegant, in fact, cheap. The passageways were littered with leaves. The room was not in the least worth the expense.
Further disappointing was the waitstaff in the bar/snack area. Unfortunately, we had the same waiter twice. He told one of us that the bar was out of a particular gin, then returned to say they did, indeed have it. When asked to see the bottle, it turned out NOT to be the gin requested. We then ordered a hamburger without the bread on half and were informed that it was not possible. Finally, both times, we asked for our check and ended up asking another waiter for it. After a long wait, our original waiter brought it. In both instances, he was "busy" chatting up another employee at the bar.
At check-out for the Day Room on the 13th, I asked TWO different desk assistants for a receipt and was told there were no additional charges, so I was refused one...TWICE! This room had been paid for by the cruise line but MY credit card was on file with them. I wanted to have a record for future reference or in the event a problem might have arisen.
I have traveled all over the world, including other tropical locations, where the climate is hard on everything. This was the first time at an InterContinental, and I was not impressed with the accommodations and service. Sadly, I would think twice before staying at another property overseen by the InterContinental Corporation.

The seawater lagoonarium was one of the best facilities we have seen in any hotel. The ability to swim and snorkel in clear sea water with such a great array of coral and fish was amazing. The hotel provided a cheaper city shuttle service (509xpf per person) to town which is muxh cheaper than a taxi.
There are 4 tv channels with the option of english language - this is more than other hotels on the island. Service was fantastic - especially by Teva at the concierge and Sofia at check in.
The hotel is generally a little tired looking, but is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The cost of food is crazily high and the 850xpf delivery charge for room service was exorbitant - especially as the food arrived cold.

Loved the resort… the welcoming staff and the food was amazing!!

Peaceful and clean with a beautiful view of Moorea. The fitness centre is well equipped.
Expect to be isolated from the rest of Papeete, taxi’s are expensive and the food options very over-priced for what is on offer.

lagoon, most staff were excellent. Bellman and front desk were top notch! Le lotus staff were excellent. Room service and housekeeping excellent. A few of the breakfast crew were snobby.
People smoking below our balcony ruined the use of the balcony. the Tahiti Fashion Festival ruined the solitude of the resort where very loud thumping music starting at 4:00 pm until late into the night. Some area were off limits and unavailable without notice.

We'd asked (and paid) for an upgrade for a special occasion. When we arrived the room we were allocated didn't meet expectations, but this was dealt with politely and efficiently by the reception staff so the room we stayed in was much better.
We booked a room only stay. Breakfast was extremely expensive with lots of choice but unfortunately not much we wanted to try. Very poor value for money for us.

Overwater bungalow was a splurge, but worth it! we spent most of our time in our little oasis, and swam amongst the coral. we spent limited time in the public areas, but for the limited time we did spend at the pools/restaurants I think this property gives a lot of bang for its buck. would stay here again as a stop over to/from the other islands of Tahiti.
Dining is grossly overpriced as is any resort. Not many dining options nearby, cabs get pricey too. Resort attempted to charge a different rate, which could have automatically charged my card $700USD extra had we not caught the indiscretion. Management matched the quoted price in my confirmation from booking.com
