Very good

great bedroom, nice staff and overall a very agreeable stay.

bear in mind that there is quite a lot of noise at nice because of the tiny frogs that inhabit the pond at the property.

Beautiful & peaceful stay at Soames

We loved our stay at Soames and will definitely book again if we're ever in Nanyuki. The room, bar area, location and setting were absolutely beautiful. We're also vegan, and the staff were amazing at ensuring we had multiple options to choose from on the menu. Really friendly staff -- an amazing, peaceful stay. Highly recommend!

Great location and fantastic food

The pont in front of the restaurant attracts loads of birdlife. Magnificent views of Mount Kenya! the staff were incredibly friendly.

Nanyuki gets bloody cold at night but we won’t blame Soames for this 😉

So far the best Property at Nanyuki

The uninterrupted view of Mount Kenya and green cover till the horizon was outstanding. Common areas are well done up. I like the fact that it's pet friendly. kids enjoyed fishing in the pond and they actually caught some fishes. Staff were extremely friendly. What I appreciate most is the fact that tariff is correctly priced for the experience it offers, unlike few other hotels who are unreasonably priced.

Relaxing

Very pleasant relaxing atmosphere. The room was large, spotlessly clean & airy with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a large shower. Great view of Mount Kenya from the patio of the room. Food in the restaurant was good quality & very tasty & the Staff were very friendly & welcoming.

Service in the restaurant was a little slow but not serious as sitting outside enjoying the view was very pleasant

I will definitely be back!!

Great customer service. The check in process was seamless. The breakfast was super! The location is amazing, very serene and quiet with a great view of Mt. Kenya. The room was warm and cosy. I would recommend it over and over!

A very nice and pleasant place, quiet and restful, ideal after a long days drive and work.

Excellent location with clean rooms! Comfortable lounge space with good wifi connection. Beautiful views over the pond with Mount Kenya in the horizon. Peaceful and quiet.

Our request to have rooms close to each other wasn't catered for, the rate mentioned on online booking was KES 7700 while charged was KES 8000.

I loved the place and the very friendly staff

The breakfast was really good, and the morning view of Mt Kenya is just out of this world. Very relaxing place, great staff! Nice, clean place.

I left yearning for Kenyan tea! The management should consider serving tea as requested by the customer. I do not expect to be served English tea if my preference is Kenyan tea...
