Schöne Unterkunft in Faro

Eine gemütliche Unterkunft mit viel Licht und einer super Lage. Die Vermieterin haben wir nicht persönlich getroffen aber sie hat sich super um uns gekümmert und sogar Frühstück organisiert für den ersten Morgen.

Leider waren die Nachbarn 2 Nächte sehr laut und wir konnten nicht schlafen. Die Vermieterin hat aber super geholfen mit Polizei rufen usw. es wäre schön wenn es einem smart tv geben würde mit Netflix usw.

Disappointing

The location is nice

The A/C didn't work and we had to tell them, that at least a fan would be good. Took nearly 3 days of a stay of 3, so it wasn't appropriate at all. The beds a extremely uncomfortable and it wasn't clean. We had so many insects, that a pest control would have been good. The couch is so old and dirty, as well as the kitchen equipment. The bathroom under the roof is poorly made. Impossible to use the toilet in a upright position. The tap is way too short, so you can't use it properly. The chairs outside are broken and everything is cracked. It's directly next to a huge construction and behind a car park. All over - simply disappointing

The outdoor facilities, especially the rooftop patio. Location was quiet at night. The grocery store was close and had a good selection (but watch the store hours as it closes at 7 pm and 1 pm on Sundays). The train station is a 7-10 minute walk. Downtown within 10-15 minutes. The beach can be reached by boat (our choice) or bus.

The A/C in the front bedroom didn’t work blowing hot air when set to 18C. The upstairs shower needs special attention between clients

Beautiful home from home

We had a fantastic stay at Casa da Avo. The house was a real home from home with everything you could possibly need. Lovely welcome pack, including milk, bread, eggs and cheese - what a surprise! Location excellent in Faro Old Town and within walking distance to all sight seeing spots. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect stay in a spacious house in a great location

We had a wonderful stay. The host rang us as our flight was very late to give us some settling in information. This enabled us to grab something to eat quickly at approximately 9pm after a long journey. She left us breakfast for the morning which was a fabulous addition. There was a folder with all local information and information needed for the house. This was very useful. The accommodation was perfect for us. Lovely spacious house with terraces to enjoy some sunshine. It had all the facilities you could need, however we only used the washing machine as we ate out for all meals. The location was wonderful - near to the centre, but also far enough out to have peace and quiet.

There is absolutely nothing we didn’t like :) it was all perfect

We enjoyed our month-long stay in this renovated home close to everything in Faro.

We stayed here for a month and loved the location. It was close to the center and the bus and train stations. Mostly we walked everywhere — restaurants, shops, marina, museums, etc. Fernanda was an excellent host— very responsive and helpful. Since we arrived on a Sunday, and shops were closed, she provided some food for us until we could shop. Beds were very comfortable too.

The second bathroom on top floor was not very convenient to use due to the sloped ceiling. Took a while to get used to.

Superb

Town house in walking distance to the center of Faro. Double beds are relatively small, but comfortable. The owner waited for us and gave us helpful instructions. She even buyed some food for us! Quiet and typical part of the city, supermarket in walking distance. Overall, we enjoyed!

perfect little place for couples and families

amazing place, multiple floors, clean, Fernanda was as helpful as she could be (she wasn’t around as unwell) balcony was wonderful and it was in close proximity to the marina and short drive to the airport. great value for money

it was in a run down neighbourhood but the inside was beautiful and that’s all we could ask for!

Super house and handy location

Super location. 5mins walk from busy centre yet peaceful and relaxing. Local cafes and restaurants on hand offering good and drink at locals price. Lovely to have the patio and second terrace which caught the sun until late, offering fab views yet private. Fernanda was so helpful and provided a warm welcome.

My only suggestion would be for a sun lounger on the terrace in addition to the table and chairs. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

Very nice host, we arived in the morning so entered the apartments in the morning, the host was waiting us with the breakfast. Big apartments with two teraces, you can find everything what you need

Noicy from the street and church bel, but you can adapt during the time period:)

Superb

Wonderful accommodation well presented and very comfortable with great facilities just 10 minutes from the centre and about 5 minutes from the bus / train stations. Our host Fernanda was super friendly and accommodating. We received a very warm welcome both in person and with a generous variety of foods for breakfast the next day. Loved sitting on the sunny terrace. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, comfortable living space, well equipped kitchen, terrace and courtyard, this is a great place to stay. I'd definitely come back and recommend to friends / family.

Exceptional

Great place with very friendly Host; We arrived late, keys were left in locker; In fridge we found butter, milk, juice and bread on the table. It was really nice as we were really hungry after long travel. There are 3 bedrooms located on 2 floors and 2 bathrooms, which was fantastic for 4 girls. View from apartment doesn't impress, but there is nothing that Fernanda can do about it. Apartment is located close to nice local coffehouse.

I was missing mirror in second bathroom and cabinets in the kitchen needs some repair; But apartment was great any way.

Superb

Lovely little house, with two beautiful balconies one with bougainvillea. Fernanda had food in the fridge for us and was extremely kind and accommodating.

It wasn't a huge deal but a downstairs toilet would be helpful

Really nice stay!

The location was very close to everything! The house was comfortable, as well as the beds! I love the little terrace/outdoor table; very nice to make use of to eat our breakfasts!

I’m very meticulous when it comes to cleanliness. I found the walls next to the toilet a bit dirty! I cleaned what I could very basically! The rest of the house was very clean!😊

All was fantastic, big frigge, ability to have ice, tarasees, very good air conditioning, two bathrooms, all equipment needed to feel as well as at my own home. Very close to centrum and the food shopping areas. 20 minutes to walk to a big forum Algarve mall and plenty free space to park car in shade next to GRN office.Very respectful and responsive owner with marvelous sense of service.

Great location and smooth check-in/out

Fernanda was super cute and even very attentive: She provided us some fresh fruit and breakfast on the arrival and even messaged me on the birthday. We had an amazing stay and would totally come back if we return to Faro again! The apartment was generally very spacious and provided all the basic needs: Hand soap, sanitiser, even masks, fresh set of dish sponge & dish liquid, shower gel and detergent for the washer. Many thanks @Fernanda to make us feel a bit "home"!

Some more extra knifes and potentially plastic cutting boards would've been great since we were cooking and couldn't really "split the work". Also, the water tap in the second bathroom (3rd floor) can be improved since it's very difficult to wash the hands under it.
