Great affordable place to stay near Bandipur!

The resort is right on the Ooty main road. Bandipur safari camp is a 5 min drive from this place. Food is freshly made and delicious. Wifi is pretty good almost everywhere. The staff were always available for any assistance. Had a very pleasant stay at this property.

Mosquitos can be a real pain in the evening if you are sitting outdoor. They do fume the place which makes it bearable.

Such a lovely, relaxed place to stay.

This was an ideal base for our Bandipur safaris. There are only five rooms and the gardens are large, so you have a lot of privacy. We had a Deluxe Room, which was large, well furnished and had a good outside terrace. The pool area was lovely and the food was very good. Sanjay, the manager, was exceptionally helpful and a pleasure to talk with. We were delighted with our stay, plus it’s only a 15 minute walk to the safari starting location. Tip - if you have problems with online safari bookings, contact Sanjay directly and he should be able to help. Likewise, is you fancy a beer with dinner, he can organise that for you.

Beautiful stay near the Safari

Amazing property with lush green surroundings. The staff and property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The in-house chef made each meal soo delicious and customised to our liking. Very close to the Safari point. Can't wait to return for another memorable stay.

Very relaxing and satisfying stay with nature.

Beautifully maintained property which is also a fruit orchard. Quaint rooms with glass outhouse. Staff always working to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent food.

The mattresses probably need to be changed.

A great pet-friendly stay with amazing food and kind people.

The location, food, staff were great! They were so friendly and helpful. The cook and his wife were amazing and made super food. The manager was kind and friendly. The staff were so very helpful. The fact that they were pet-friendly was impressive.

The room was really small for three people and the price. If they can improve the room size or give a lot more space it hold have been perfect.

Memorable stay at Mangifera

Mangifera is a good stay near bandipur. Very close to bandipur entry. Location is very good. Special mention for Mr Bala (head chef), very tasty food served there. Did not feel like going to other restaurants. Small still well maintained property.

No of staffs are little less. There is no security guard at the gate.

Our 2 night stay at cozy Mangifera

The cook Bala was excellent. The staff is courteous and helpful. Every guest was heaping praises. We also found the food to be awesome.

The rooms are not as large as they are made to be seen in the pics. The washrooms need servicing. The water in the washbasin was getting held (needs servicing)

Amazing Stay at Bandipur

A quaint and beautifully done up house in a lush green farm. It wasn’t overtly crowded and the pool was lovely. Mr.Sanjay and the entire staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. We opted for the full board and the food throughout was amazing. The garden and property are well maintained. There are just 5 rooms so that ensures its not overtly crowded. The bonfire was amazing.

The mattress was old/ extremely sunken in our room. The washroom could use an upgrade.

Lovely property located very close to the Bandipur Safari starting point.

The location is extremely close to the Safari’s starting point which makes it very easy and convenient if the purpose of your visit is the Safari. The lovely fig tree is a great place to unwind. Great food by the chef.

The bathroom vent in our room was under construction and we weren’t informed about it or offered another option for our stay.

It was perfect for our holiday however if you are looking for lot of activity like play area etc it doesn't offer much. As the property is small it does not have much outdoor space to play

It is a quite place with only few rooms and the staff was very friendly and helpful during the whole stay. When Bandipur National Park is the place you want to go, then this is the location to stay in terms of price-value relation.

great relaxing stay!

We really like the peaceful vibe at the Mangifera, it’s a great place to get some rest! the food is really good, amazing breakfast and the chef always checked if we were happy. The bed and room is really comfertable and the staff is really friendly. It is a great place if you want some rest and relax. It is also really close to the safari point.

Delightful despite the absence of tigers!

Lovely pool, delightful staff, especially Aswathy,who took us birding and couldn't do enough to help, very pleasant gardens and convenient for the tiger reserve.

Only instant coffee offered and no refreshments available apart from at meal times, in what is an expensive hotel.

Comfortable stay and mangifera but not value for money

Location is good. Rooms are big. Staff is very courteous, very helpful and friendly.

Rooms are old and need maintenance. Very small property, has nothing to offer other than a pool and charges are very high just for the room.
