Location is good, Bus stop in front of the hotel and right on the beach.
Unfortunately the place was a dump. I booked 2 nights in the "Queen room" for the last few days of my holidays and wanted a comfy room with sea view. Nothing like the pictures and not sure how it got positive reviews. 125$ for nights and you get an a/c which doesn't work.at 16C°, a broken toiletseat, a fridge with a penetrant smell so bad that even the bottled water tastes after it, rusty lampshades and a rusty mirror, sheets/towels with stains, loud music from the restaurant and an aggressive manager who started screaming at me and threatening with canceling my booking and making me look no show as soon as he heard I'd leave a review. Though I didn't ask for it,
they offered 40$ discount but said they would cancel the booking so they won't have to pay commission to booking.com, and I wouldn't be able to write a review. Regrettably the situation escalated and I ended up spending the night at a police station instead of sleeping early as I was supposed to go to Sinharaja.
They ask for the payment upfront and once you see the room it becomes clear why.

Good location on the beach.
Nice staff.
No room service.
No room cleaning unless you ask and insist.
No beach towels.

Rommet var romslig og rent. Hyggelig personalet.
Dårlig Air Condition. Rommene med sjøutsikt, hadde ikke sjøutsikt, du fikk et lite glimt av utsikten. Masse trær og en et tak foran, som sperret for utsikten.

Pleasant enough stay in a tired looking hotel
Lovely beach front location in fact it’s the location that really is the best part of this hotel.
It’s a nearly but not quite. Would recommend as the price is reflective of the tiredness of this hotel and as stated a very good location
Ate here on our last night and chose fresh fish grilled with French fries. Sitting out on the beach eating fresh cooked fish was lovely.
We booked a queen room with sea view. Mosquito net difficult to stretch over the bed as the headboard was stuck firmly to the wall creating gaps in the net. Also whilst we had a lovely balcony view note it is noisy from the beach bar music below till the early hours. Not an issue for us but may be for some.
Rusty bathroom accessories and an uncleaned fridge from the previous guests. Stained bedside lampshade.
The safe in the room didn’t work. There were no waste bins in the room just a v small one in the bathroom.
Door out to balcony warped and difficult to open. Having said all that the price paid reflects that this is not a top lines hotel.

Central Beach is located directly at the beach and is an ideal starting point to discover Mirissa and surroundings. There is a supermarket, many restaurants, small shops and ATMs abailable in 1-5 min walking distance.
The Central Beach Restaurant is directly at the beach offering everything from breakfast to dinner, sunbenches and a nice spot to hide from the short rainperiods if you‘re here a bit off season. :)
Moreover parrot rock, coconut tree hill, surf stands and many beach restaurants are pretty much directly available.
The service was great, the reception, the room cleaning team and everyone we have spoken woth was extremely forthcoming and friendly.
Ok top we had the chance to get our laundry cleaned and rent a motorbike for a day to explore Ahangama & Weligama.
We booked the seaview room and even though it‘s a pricier than the others and we do travel on a budget - this was so worth it. We had a big room with a wonderful view. Everyday, we woke up to an incredibly beautiful view of coconut trees and the waves crushing in and loved it. Absolutely recommended.
After 4 days it was really hard for us to leave as we have
As in every other stay we’ve had in Sri Lanka so far, there were some ants who lost their way through our room, but nothing major and it is the way it is and there was a moskito net already prepared, which I’d recommend, mostly because it generally makes me feel more comfortable in tropical countries :)
Even though the room was spacious, somehow there was little room to put our stuff on. Maybe a small desk or a small table would help :)

Location is perfect as you have the beach right next to you and local bus stop right next to hotel ( cheap traveling to Galle fort ). Hotel restaurant serves delicious foods & drinks while enjoying the ocean view. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Just the loud music after midnight during our stay was bit nerve wracking that happened every night of our 3 night stay.

location
right on the beach
the seafood served at night is some of the best I’ve ever eaten.
the staff were great and the room was comfortable.
the fittings in the bathroom were very rusty and could do with replacing.
the music was loud but we wore earplugs so it didn’t bother us.

Great Staff, always helpful and proactive, creating good vibes. Facilities are clean and in good condition 24x7 Wifi. Location right by the beach 🏖️. perfect for heading out to surf. 😇

The room was large and comfortable. There was hot water.
The noise from the bar below and next door was so bad I left two days early. The music continued until 3am. The hotel staff were nice, but the restaurant staff were really rude and generally very unpleasant. Despite it being on the beach, all of the sun beds were occupied by guests from different hotels. The breakfast was expensive and not great. Overall, my worst hotel stay in Sri Lanka.

Gates been locked before we came to the hotel in the night after having a late night. No peace at the been.

I like how convenient and nicely arranged. I would definitely book here again. the room was like 50 meters from the beach. it is a family owned resort and everyone was welcoming and friendly.
bathrooms need to be taken care of in terms of maintenance and hygiene.

Really nice room looking over the beach! Good size on the room and it was a cozy environment in the restaurant area. Very serviceminded staff!
It was a lot of ants in the room and noisy att night, we had to sleep with earplugs because of the music in the bars outside

Room size and the sea view was great. The staff was incredibly polite and friendly. They restaurant offered food and drinks at a reasonable price. The location to the beach was perfect. Had good access to transport, stores and restaurants.
The cleaning service could have been more frequent as it is located next to the beach and sand gets all the way to the room. A bit greater choice of local cuisine would have been nicer as not all customers come to Sri Lanka for club sandwiches, burgers etc.

I loved the location. It's right on the stretch and it makes it very easy to get from your room to the beach in 5s. The room was cozy and the dogs were entertaining. The bartender and the man who stays at the entrance who helped us with all our bags were sweethearts and we were sure to tip them well. 💗
1. The beachboys who double down as servers in the night and morning were not as nice, or polite. Wished they could have been nicer it would have made our stay as Sri lankans so much better.
2. The hot water comes and goes in the shower and the water pressure isn't all that great.
3. Food is a tad bit expensive here.

The room was clean, the over-all vibe is cozy and chill, the food is lovely, the drinks are nice, and most of all: the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The sea view room was a little noisy at night, because of the heavy waves

beautiful little place just by the beach.
The food is really good but unfirtunately absurdly priced at. Soft drinks and even water are being sold at approx 10 times higher than the MRP.

Great location, played the football on request! Quiet property despite lots going on

The location was great, easy beachfront, and a great restaurant.
The owner was very helpful when we needed help. Because of the current shortage of gas situation, last day of our trip taxi that we arranged a way back it canceled on us at the very last minutes and hotel owner worked hard and saved us.
I don't know because it was the Sri Lankan new year holiday and the current situation. But we did not get any cleaning service and new towels for the four nights we stayed. We went to the front desk and get the towels and soap to be refilled ourselves.

Location at the beach
Very noisy (music from bars till night, rough waves from ocean-as the roof is open). No working wifi even after claims, not well mainteined furniture. Outside parts of the hotel fade and dirty look.

Very affordable rates and good value for money, close to the beach in the heart of action in mirissa
Rooms are small and only had 1 power socket

Great location on the beach. The queen room
with sea view was large and comfortable
The queen room with sea view was as near to the beach as possible which did make it quite noisy (music until the early hours) and the sound of the waves crashing resonated through the room constantly due to the semi-open roofing. Overall no big deal

The location was excellent and was close to plenty of beach front bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and accommodating; we booked a sunrise safari that meant we were to be picked up at 4.30am, the front gate doesn't get opened until 7am but once we had spoken to them and let them know about our trip they made sure that the gate was open early for us so we could get out. I had a sim-card so didn't use the wifi, some of my friends did and said it was "ok" in the room, but much better in the restaurant and bar area.
We booked a triple room which was a little on the small side, but given we spent most of our time out and about it didn't really matter too much.
