Lovely location & accommodation. This is a demonstration of one of the many reasons I love Sweden, this is an old hotel but is maintained well & everything works. Nice breakfast too.

The spacious bedroom with balcony and sauna.
Breakfast good.
It would be handy to have a cord for pulling down the blackout blind rather than having to climb up on a chair.

Even though I booked and arrived after 9 pm in the evening, the person I called was very friendly and flexible.
The room I stayed in (in the annex) unfortunately had a very noticeable noise problem probably caused by a ventilation room behind the kitchen wall, preventing a good night's sleep (for me anyway). Hope this will be fixed (a kitchen door could help). Also, it was impossible to open the windows (maybe good to know for people who love sleeping while breathing fresh air).

nice accommodation also for dogs. Very flexible even on short notice and late arrival
the curtains and blinds were too light- when it is light early you wake up and can’t sleep anymore

it was not clear from the offer (unless you looked at all 83 pictures) that linen was not included in the price. this should, in my opinion, have been indicated, just as it was for breakfast.

Great location for outdoor pursuits: ice skating on the lake 5 mins by car, Orsa grönklitt with cross country and alpine skiing 20 mins. We stayed in the separate house "torpet" right by the church. Be prepared for time travel, the house is totally 60ies/70ies typical Swedish decor, we loved it. Room spacious, child had a separate small room behind ours. Kitchen well-equipped, nice Lounge.
Nothing, but it could potentially get rather cramped if all rooms are occupied. Add it was wee were mostly on our own.

Trunna Vandrarhem is situated in a historical building, so every room and part of the house breathes history - it's an amazing place and a unique experience. I also loved the excellent breakfast which was served on a buffet table in the beautiful dining room. Not to forget the kindness of the manager: when my arrival was delayed and I came after closing time, he very kindly let me in and helped me to find my room - thank you again!
The room where I stayed was actually an apartment complete with a kitchen und a small veranda (next to a wooden old church painted in Faluröd). I loved it!

Very friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast

The seller does not present that the price for the room does not include bed linen and cleaning of the room. The offered room with its own bathroom does not have a bathroom but only a toilet.

The location was good for our purpose. It was within walking distance to Orsa. The place was clean. The lady at reception was very helpful. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices.

Nothing
The staffs or those that we met for sure can take apart in some courses regarding Hotel/Service industry.
We stayed for a night in a building that wasn`t in near the main building. Basically, the lady who checked us in just walked with us to the front door and pointed out at build in the neighborhood, and said "that`s where you're going to stay" no building number or something just a name for the street that the building was located. Plus if it wasn`t for the Christianity signs in the neighborhood, I would have thought the building is hunted or something.

Too few electric sources (only one available)

Breakfast was good.
big stains on the mattress, host looked like he drank vinegar. Hostel could use some maintenance.

The room was clean, big and without unnecessary decoration.
We are a gay married couple and booked a double room for 4 days. There were a lot of issues, but here are the two main ones:
1. When we arrived, we were informed that we'd need to change room after 2 days. We'd at least expect a "sorry for the inconvenience" but we got an "It is what it is". On the second day i asked the manager what time and how the move was going to happen and was informed that we'll change room a day later. On the day we were supposed to change room still no information at all so we decided to just leave. No one noticed, no one cared.
2. This is a church owned accomodation, something that it is not stated on the booking.com page. Religion is visible everywhere: Bible quotes on the wall, church leaflets, a Bible on the bedroom table. The church of course has every right to have a b&b; they have tho the obligation to inform the customers about it. Some of the leaflets were not accepting homosexuality and were criticizing the official liberal stand of the Swedish church in gay marriage. It's obvious that a gay married couple like us would not feel welcome.
