Will come back again as convenient

Location as it is close to family I visit. Befs comfortable and clean. Nice soft towels and plentiful. Tea making facilities. Hot shower.

Room 205, walls in bathroom need cleaning and a lick of paint. Carpet shabby. Window when closed has a gap big enough to put your finger in so constant draft. Family room and it needs some attention.

It's good but I think there are better options for the price

The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable, however the carpet looked very dirty and the shower and bathtub or rather the bathroom as a whole was not good. The hotel is in front of the pub the bad thing is that the area is not even remote and the only option for food is the pub itself which we didn't even like the food(especially considering the price), The breakfast that I included was extremely and not many of the items available.

Would defo recommend, cleanliness, coziness and price done it for me, staff very accommodating too

Didn’t take the breakfast as going on hearsay it wasn’t great, staff were lovely, room was great size, clean and cosy…..

Wasn’t impressed with the disabled wet floor shower, shower power was poor and drainage also, became dangerous as it didn’t fully drain away and water was almost at the door and surrounding the toilet pan, not great if I was actually disabled

A Good Inn, Providing What It Says

The rooms were clean and tidy The beds were comfortable The area was quiet and a good quality of sleep

The Bar adjacent to the Inn closed earlier than expected The bath room showers could do with descaling to provide a better flow of water and also to prevent an outbreak of Legionella. I had the disabled room where there may have been voulnerable people staying.

Pleasant stay but glad it was only for a couple of nights.

Meals were typical pub grub, nothing exciting. The room was spacious and well presented. And, surprisingly the room was serviced, which seems a rarity these days.

The location is near to a new housing development and that was about it. There did not appear anywhere to walk to.

Mixed experience

The evening meal was lovely and the staff very efficient and friendly. Room was acceptable and location good for our journey

The kettle didn't work in the room so no morning cup of tea. The kitchen in the morning had no gas so no hot meal to start our onward journey

Functional but disappointing

Easy to find and pub with catering attached was great.

The room layout for twin beds didn’t work as one bed was directly under a wall lamp which resulted in banged head on a number of occasions. Had to ask for extra towels as only one bath towel was provided. The most disappointing factor was then bar closed at 10 and for a group of travelling friends on a Saturday night was hugely disappointing with no other local options available. This was not clear on booking as I would have not chosen this location for the whole party if I’d known.

Definitely not 4 star!

Good location. Friendly staff. Free parking.

Dangerously loose broken wonky toilet seat, reported immediately but wasnt repaired or replaced. Surprised and disgusted this was not reported by cleaning staff prior to guests arriving. Out of date milk pods. Scuffed walls and torn wallpaper. Coffee facilities in restaurant were very poor for 4 star hotel. Only instant coffee sachets and luke warm water available. Video available of broken toilet seat.

The dust in the room was ridiculous and also looked like the bed sheets are needing updated with rips at the edges of bedding

It was ok for the fact we were visiting family but wouldn’t go st new year again

The staff were lovely

The fact upon arrival it was 2150 and we were not allowed to purchase a drink even though we’d travelled so far . No special entertainment or anything for New Years Eve

Passable

Shower curtain had a make up stains on it carpet had curry spilt on the floor spoke to duty manager she didn't do nothing about the curry stains on the carpet she only said we can only call a professional if there is more jobs in the hotel to clean not just the one room .... so why was the room sold to me when it should have been closed for cleaning I'm really not happy about that

-close to Ravenscraig sports facility -clean and comfortable beds -staff helpful with pre booked food orders

-The bar and restaurant closed extremely early. - There was no shampoo/ shower gel in the bathroom - Extremely overpriced for the facilities that were available. - The breakfast window was only very small due to a dog event.

Amazing Stay

Amazing stay as always- beds a so comfortable didn’t want to check out lol. great value for money, and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

slight minor issue is the fact that the room was very cold during the night that was even with the heating on but it didn’t effect my stay tbh

An enjoyable stay under the cicumstances of my dad's funeral, the staff made our stay a lot easier.

Everything, Mr and Mrs Ian McLean, Leah and staff were awesome.

Poor overall

The bed was a good size. Good access links to the motorway.

Paid for an early check in as we were attending a wedding nearby and found hairs on the bath and bed sheet. TV didn't work. Heating was on when we got to the room which made it very stuffy already as the window was not open either, then it came on through the night and was very uncomfortable. Numerous areas of the car park were blocked off which made it difficult to get to and from the car with a heavy suitcase.

A very well deserved good nights sleep and lovely facilities.

The staff went above and beyond to meet my needs and were so helpful they even helped me do up a shoe in a time of crisis! They were truly a lovely team which is why i am happy and excited to come back again.

The only thing that bugged me a little bit was how far out of the way it was from the town, i had to get taxis or lifts from friends to get to where I needed to be.

Convenience to motorway. Type of hotel. Option of family room.

Family room with 4 people only had 2 mugs and glasses and not enough milk, coffee & tea fit everyone. Reception shut due to late arrival
