Excellent central location, but need some maintenance.

Location

Needs some serious maintenance. Broken and loose tiles; balcony door couldn’t close or lock (which is a concern as balcony faces the main road); bathroom door lock was broken; taps and shower head loose; no wine or tumbler glasses.

location great but some changes are needed

The location was amazing .That was a positive .However the tenants making a noise to set up business early in the morning was not so pleasant

A little microwave would have made a difference if one wanted to warm up a meal but there was not one . Also a gas heater would have been welcome .In load shedding the apartment got really cold and perhaps an electric blanket. The parking for our unit was around the corner and the gate and lock was manual so parking the car and opening and closing was not pleasant.I don’t mind it being around the corner but an automated gate would be better and safer because while I was parking the car a man appeared from nowhere and scared me because he wanted to help and was insistent about .

Nice property shame about the traffic.

Very comfortable large room. Location was great for the centre of Franschhoek.

Unfortunately, since our last visit 12 months ago, the traffic on the main street has become very heavy with heavy lorries blasting out heavy diesel fumes such that the air in the Main street is not good. Not the fault of the Studio, but it does impact on the enjoyment, making the balcony pretty unpleasant to use during the day.

Great location! Just a little difficult to request assistance

The location was exceptional! A very comfortable accommodation with enough amenities nearby. The place also had loadshedding-friendly lights so the stay was comfortable at night, even without power.

As the studio is on a main road, it is very noisy very early in the morning. It was impossible to get hold of the host. We had requested a later check out and anplace to leep our luggage for a while while we explored the town. The lady cleaning the studio when we arrived said that she would get the host to call us, and he never did. He also did not respond on the app. We had no means of requesting more clean towels and the shower had bad drainage, causing the bathroom to flood a bit. We had to use our bath towels to dry the floor.

Great studio in the center of town

Great studio in heart of Franschoek! Perfect spot as a base to visit the surrounding wine farms and can walk to all the restaurants in the evening from there. Truth coffee operates a stand right outside for the morning brew too...:) The room is large and spacious and very comfortable.

The road can be a bit noisy if busy at night but the bed is comfy!

Excellent location. Tea and coffee included. Great channels on TV and an excellent view

bar down the road was a little loud but we went out at 7:45pm, when we got back, it was silent.

Great central location

Great location, easy parking which was safe behind the property and we were able to park before we could check in. Bed was comfy, apartment had a small fridge, kettle, tea, coffee and milk, together with a good selection of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. Spacious apartment, with seating and tv, large shower and wardrobe. Private entrance from Bijoux Square and good communication with the owner, albeit all virtual via booking.com messaging, which is fine. We would stay again.

This apartment is a central location, which overlooks the main road in Franschhoek, so with that comes some road and outside noise, which is clearly a challenge of being right in the centre. There is no safe, which we would prefer (but it’s not listed as having one!)

Good location

Good location in the town.

Unlike other places we stayed at during our trip in South Africa this was the only one where the WiFi didn't work during loadshed which was unfortunate. Small and wobbly toilet seat.

Place Was nice and cozy, Everything was spotless, walking distance of everything was a plus❤️💯

if you aren't picky regarding cleanliness that is a great place to stay.

Spacious place, very central located - restaurants and the wine-train nearby, small balcony overlooking the Main Road

The place wasn't very clean. I found a lot of hair in the apartment. To get to the apartment one has to climb quite a few steep stairs, not easy to master, especially with heavy luggage

we weren’t sure about security in the area. drainage in shower was poor and the basin tap loose. We are sure the owner would appreciate the feedback and attend to the above as he was very proactive and helpful. Thank you 😊

The breakaway from home was needed.

The breakfast was fantastic.

The window at the bed couldn’t open. Neither the blind could be adjusted. There was an electricity outage in franschhoek for several hours, the hosts didn’t contact us to see if we were alright or whether we needed lamps/torches.
