The perfect place to stay in the area. Beautiful and great value for money.

Beautifully kept villa and serene location. Gorgeous gardens with delicious breakfast. Sam’s smiley face and warm personality made our stay.

Very good

Very good place to stay for one night or more. Rooms are very clean and confortable. Breakfast was excellent and the swimming pool is very nice and well maintained. Owner and staff very helpful and friendly.

Does not accept local Srilankha’s Rupees neither visa payment, this can be a problem for long stay or for groups.

worst experience ever

absolutely nothing. The man who carried my luggage was kind.

It was by far the worst place I have ever stayed at. It has bugs and huge red ants everywhere. There was a lizard in the washroom. They had a generator for when the power cuts happened but the host specifically told me I am not allowed to use the AC because they need the generator for more important things. I slept sweaty and dirty. Mosquitos bit me all night. The mosquito net did not help. We did not have cash on us and she did not inform us that she only takes cash. She enforced it and she was not kind about it. She should have atleast informed me before hand that she only excepts cash because no where on the booking said cash only. I was not pleased at all with my stay here and was very disappointed. I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable

Villa itself is absolutely wonderful.

Villa itself is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful garden and clean room. 12-minute walk to the beach through village in the shadow. Internet is sometimes failing and latest time for breakfast is 9:30 which can be early for long-sleepers ;)

Just perfect

Our stay at Villa Shanthi was amazing . Highly recommend , it was so peaceful, clean and the service was outstanding . We were so looked after . We had an evening meal there and we felt like royalty , it was superb . We were sad to leave but we will be back . Thank you so much .

Superb feeling, best accommodation in years. Way above the 4* chains in Sri Lanka.

It is actually a boutique villa with exquisite interior and facilities. Your meals on demand will be prepared by one of the best chefs in the area.

Amazing villa in Hikkaduwa!

The villa is very special, clean and beautiful. It's very clean and the stuff is very friendly. The breakfast was amazing with a lot of food.

Watch out for the check-in time! I informed the host I will have to arrive later (I was traveling from Ella) and she messaged me it was ok but when I arrived the lady was clearly upset with me, asked me a lot of inappropriate questions and made me feel very uncomfortable. When I asked her directly why she was not nice and not friendly to me, she admitted it was because I was late. It is extremely unprofessional and I was very uncomfortable next to this lady the rest of my stay. She doesnt speak English that well and it created even more awkward talks.

- lovely Pool and beautiful garden - the hostess is from germany and she is very kind. she arranged a tuktuk for us to Mirissa for a really good price. thank you😌 - the staff is very helpful, sam is a nice guy! - comfortable bed - excellent breakfast

Tranqil stay

Beautiful stay. Villa Shanthi is all about peace and tranquility. Only a delightful 10 minute stroll through palm trees and lovely lanes to get to the beach and a plethora of restaurants but you feel like you are secluded in the middle of nowhere. Highlights: - Spacious, colonial-style room with excellent AC, fan and hot water - Verena and her team were warm, hospitable and really go above and beyond. - Fantastic chef - Sri lankan curries and fish were delicious - Pool and garden area are sublime and filled with wildlife. I saw monkeys from my balcony - Safe and secure - I was a solo female and felt well looked after. I'll definitely be back

If you’re looking for a worry-free and calm place, this is it!

Our stay at Shanthi Villa was nothing less than great. The room and common areas are clean, the staff are super nice and helpful. You feel like you are in a home rather than a hotel! The food was nice and the chef is flexible with your dietary requirements. It is the perfect place for a calm vacation away from the hustle and bustle of cities and you really forget what’s going on in the world in regards to Covid. We were welcomed so warmly and we will never forget our stay here :)

Everything we had hoped for and more!

This property is delightful. Everything is clean and well maintained. The pool is set in a lovely garden and both are maintained to a high standard. Breakfast was generous and beautifully presented. The chef produces excellent meals and is happy to discuss your likes and dislikes. All the staff are friendly and want to please. The owner is on site and ensures everything is done well. It is an easy ten minute stroll to the beach but is set in quiet location away from the railway and party scene.

We absolutely loved staying in villa Shanti. Verona and her team were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The food cooked by the villa’s chef was amazing - some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and there was so much choice. The beds were comfy. Everything was really clean. We also loved the pool. Great location - only 5-10 mins walk from the beach. We’d definitely recommend staying here and would love to go back.

Superb

The Villa is about 10 minute walk to the beach but completely away from the hustle and bustle of Hikkadua. It is an oasis of tranquility. Accommodation is excellent. The pool area superb. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were so polite and helpful .
