Spettacolare

La posizione davvero fantastica vicino al ghiacciaio. Struttura molto pulita, colazione davvero varia ed abbondante. Stanza grande, silenziosissima e funzionale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente.

A peaceful and lovely stay. Good location especially when traveling by car. We had a delicious dinner!

Great location, great staff, an excellent option for a Vik/black sand beach stay.

Overall I was very impressed. While you're not directly in Vik, you're definitely close enough, and within a stone's throw of the black sand beaches. The breakfast buffet was expansive compared to some other places we've stayed, and the gym was VERY well-appointed. I wasn't expecting it to have as much equipment as it did.

Excellent spot to see the Northern Lights without having to drive anywhere.

Room was fine, with the 2 twin beds requested, plenty of light in the room, pleasantly surprised it had an USB outlet to use to charge my electronics. Room was a little cold though, only bathroom had heat as we found out the bathroom had radiant heat, so we would leave the bathroom door open all day so the room could get a little warm. Breakfast was fine, smaller and limited but overall was fine. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Parking lot was a great location to see the Lights, which is a big plus for the hotel!!!

No heat in the room. Only bathroom was warm. Cold water in shower did not work, only hot water would, but would take a quick shower and by the time I finished, the hot water will be getting super hot.

Had good stay and enjoyed the room and breakfast. A big plus was seeing the Norhtern Lights

The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was good but a little short on counter space. Excellent beds.

A bit remote and a 15 minute drive to Vik for dining.

Nice hotel in a great location

Friendly staff, nice breakfast and good location. The rooms are big and clean.

Everything was good. Just a very minor detail: there was no towel for the toddler (they prepared a baby cot, but no towels). So we had to use one of our towels for the toddler and later one of us had to use a wet towel. But not an issue anyway, just a minor detail.

Great option for the busy Vik area.

The location was excellent and the gym was beyond what you expect in a hotel. Breakfast selection was good.

There was no bar area to sit. The dining room is full of tour groups and feels like a youth hostel.

Tutto ottimo, unica nota negativa al ristorante.

Struttura ottima, posto accogliente, l'unica pecca è stato al ristorante dove abbiamo preso un hamburger, che alla richiesta cottura al sangue, non è stato possibile farlo in quanto precotti dalla mattina e servito con patatine fredde. Il problema è stato risolto dalla gentile manager che naturalmente non ce l'ha fatto pagare.

Great breakfast, good location

The breakfast was absolutely huge, great selection. The view as well is fantastic. It is close enough to Vik to be convenient. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The soundproofing could be a bit better, noise from the hallways travels.

Glad we stayed here.

The room was spacious and the smart TV allowed to watch programs from our phone. The beds were comfortable. Views were very nice. Nice to have a restaurant as well. The staff was polite and professional.

The breakfast was just OK. Similar to what you would get at a budget hotel. Room charges from other rooms were on our bill at checkout. They would have put our room charges on another room if we wouldn’t have corrected them, so expecting this occurred to us. After discussing at checkout the incorrect room charges were removed. Still frustrating. Might want to simply ask to show key/proof.

La spiaggia nera dall'alto.

L'albergo è in cima ad una collina da cui si vede tutta la valle fino alle montagne e al mare, una vista mozzafiato. La camera era grande, comoda, pulita e calda, il ristorante dell'hotel, dove abbiamo cenato, era ottimo, perfetta la colazione la mattina dopo, abbondante e deliziosa.

Gutes Hotel

Betten bequem, sauber, große Zimmer, Bad modern und funktionstüchtig, warm (Fußbodenheizung, kann aber nicht vom Zimmer aus geregelt werden, also ist zum Kühlen Lüften angesagt), Teppichboden, Wasserkocher, Frühstück lecker mit großer Auswahl.

Das Telefon hat abends plötzlich ein lautes Geräusch von sich gegeben. Unangenehm, aber man konnte einfach den Ethernet stecker trennen.

가격이 약간 비싼 편이지만, 지역의 특성을 고려할 때 어쩔 수 없는 부분인 것 같습니다.

Perfect guesthouse to visit Skogafoss and Black Beach.

Great guest house. Comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, nice view, very clean. Breakfast was outstanding.

Couldn’t control the heat in our room. It was a little warm.

Just stayed on night and it was fine, might stay here again if in the area.

Easy check in, accurate to the listing, large room, very good breakfast buffet included which staff said went until 9:30 am but they actually let you keep grabbing food to 10 am and beyond. Has a very nice fully equipped gym which we thought about using - we were impressed with that. Very close to Vik for dining and shopping.

The room was very very grey, no joke. Many shades of grey. No mini-fridge... that was probably the worst thing, that we had no place to put stuff that needed to be refrigerated. No way to significantly cool down the room (no temperature control, no AC, no fan) for sleeping, so had to use just the duvet cover. However this is kind of common in Iceland where they really have only two months of "warm weather" so they are far far more prepared for things to be cold.

Clean and spacious

Good location for our itinerary. Rooms were spacious, clean, warm and comfortable, albeit somewhat basic (very basic hallways as well). Breakfast options were good.

The restaurant requires dinner reservations in advance. This was frustrating since we didn’t always know our timing and ended up having to venture back out after a long day when we would have preferred to eat at the hotel.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast with a great view. Tidy rooms.

Friendly staff, tidy room. 2 rooms had great views, 1 room had a view out the back, but we were only staying for a short night so it wasn't an issue. Nice breakfast spread with a great view!

Would have preferred curtains that completely covered the window due to short nights at this season in Iceland. Room was quite warm and window doesn't open very far.
