The master suite has a queen size bed, a 26' wall mounted LCD television with DVD player, and private bathroom with plenty of storage. The two hallway bunks are extremely user friendly with each having a 15' wall mounted LCD television and a reading lamp attached to a dimmer switch for individualized comfort. They always attract rave reviews from our past guests. You won't find bunks like this anywhere. The living room is tastefully decorated with a sofa as well as a love seat which ensures plenty of seating for your entire family whether you're watching your 55' flat screen television with surround sound or enjoying the breath taking gulf front view through the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. **** Our condo can accommodate 5 guests overnight (possibly 6) but just be aware that we will only have beds for 4 guests with the remaining utilizing the sectional sofa. **** The fully equipped kitchen includes a side by side refrigerator / freezer with filtered water ice dispenser, electric range, large microwave, dishwasher, and instant hot water dispenser (perfect for making a quick hot beverage or light meal). In addition; the kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and cooking necessities that you would find in your own home. The granite counter top and porcelain sink adds the finishing touches. This unit was freshly painted and refurbished in February, 2018. Comfort and convenience was the goal and the owners spared no expense in upgrades from the crown molding throughout all the way down to the mirror polished floors. A keyless entry lock is installed so you won't have to worry about losing your key. You won't find any contractor grade fixtures here. Waters Edge amenities include a 410' gulf front beach, two swimming pools (1 heated) separated by a serpentine walkway totaling 5000 square feet (the largest on the island), four level parking garage, community barbeque area, poolside grassy playground with gazebo, fitness center with cardio equipment and a universal machine, and complimentary seasonal beach service. SEVERAL CLOSE BY DINING OPTIONS INCLUDE: Old Bay Steamer which specializes in steamed seafood by the bucket. They also offer pasta and steaks. So the place looked clean at first but they must never dust. The ceiling fan blades were full of dust. So much that i thought it was paint. And the vents in the bathroom was full of dusks. And the doors to the closets in the hallwy were full of dust. If you have a dust allergy probably shouldnt stay there. Also the sprinkler above the bed leak. Now the owner does say this can happen if you use the dryer and dont clean the vent. But i clean the vent every time. I do that even at my own house. And it still leak on me when i was alseep on the last night. Other than that it was a great stay. On there not much room to put your stuff so if you have 5 people you will be tripping over your suitcases. The room was nice and the owner did asnswer any questions that i had. Im not saying dont stay there but just so you know.

We've stayed at the Water's Edge Condominiums five times. This was the first time in this condo. It was great! One flight of stairs and close to the pool gate. The condo was clean with tile floors throughout. Owners quickly responded to our questions. We've already booked it for next August!

This was our first family trip to Fort Walton Beach and it did not disappoint. Our condo was well equipped for our stay. The complex itself is well maintained and was in great condition. The pools could be a little on the warm side, but after the sun being out all day it’s hard to keep it cool. The sand was perfect and the water was clear. The condo itself was very clean and just as described. The check in was super smooth! We will be back.

Me and my daughter have went on a "Girl's Trip" for almost 8yrs. This by far has been the best one yet! The Condo was just as described, it was truly beautiful!! The view was amazing and she loved that it had the ice maker sonwe never had to buy any. Loved that we could both shower at the same time and the water pressure was perfect! The only downside, which is of NO fault to the owner is that all the Cabanas in the front row were "reserved" every day so we always had to sit in the back row but 1 day whichbwe were still 3rd from last. I actually went down an hour early(7am) and waited and was told that i couldnt reserve one for the front. I would just have to wait or choose an empty one. That was kind of a bummer that if we had paid for one, we could get it reserved. Didnt make alot of sense but again, no fault to the owner. Bed was super comfy, my daughter said the bunkbed was also comfy, the light wouldnt work in it but we honestly did not need it. We will definitely be back again!! This was a magical week. The condo is ideally located. The pools are immaculate and not crowded at all. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The condo is very well furnished with everything and more than you need-even a waffle maker! The owner is extremely pleasant and provided so much helpful information even before our arrival. I will definitely be renting this condo in the future!

We loved the property! It was very clean, and the location of the room on the second floor was so convenient. Honestly, with this view, you could just stare out the windows all day.

My first solo trip and it was perfect!! It was everything I hoped for and more. Being right on the water was breathtaking from sunrise to sunset. The condo had everything you needed to feel right at home and was very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone who loves the beach and likes to walk. I will definitely be back and hopefully for much longer stay.

Our stay at Waters Edge was perfect. Yes, the weather was cold but the sunsets were unbelievable! Our view, one of the main reasons we chose Waters Edge, were more than we could have hoped for. The condo was perfect. David is a great host!

The unit was clean, the view was beautiful. Easy access to elevator, walkway to the beach and the pool. Short drive to the boardwalk in Fort Walton and about 15 min from Destin's boardwalk. Could use a little bit more storage to hold clothes. My kids ended up keeping their clothes in their suitcase. The tv on the bunk bed was nice, but I think the one at the top wasn't working. They don't have any way to link headphones to them, but the Plexi glass helped manage the sound. Overall it was perfect for our family and we plan to stay again.

Could not have been happier with our stay at Water’s Edge. The booking process was easy, and the owner, Daniel, even provided a guide for the area that proved to be very helpful. The location of the condo is ideal, right near the elevator and directly above the beach access. The condo itself was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. The pool was pristine and I could’ve stayed in for hours. Just the relaxation we needed. I would absolutely stay here again.

We would definitely stay there again, in fact we would like for it to become our annual "place" to stay, it was clean, great views, they keep the pool area maintained, the walkway to the beach was constantly being hosed off or swept, it's close to all our favorites restaurants. the only issue was the first hour there one of the lights in the hall bath went out (we would have gladly changed bulbs, if we could have found them) we called the number, that was designated to call on our paperwork and no reply, all week, so I let my husband get ready in there! Still a 5 star!

First that I'm sure everything I have to say about this Condo will be disputed by the owner, but beware, this unit is not what we expected and we have stayed at VRBO units for years. First, the Unit was not ready when we checked at 3:37 p.m., and we were fine with that because the paperwork said check in between 3-4 if the unit is ready. The cleaner said she needed the extra time and would prefer about 40-45 more minutes. (After check-in time) We had family staying in the building so didn't chek in until around 4:30. Immediatley we knew we had a problem when the unit had a very strong unpleasant smell, and discovered that the bunks smelled like urine! I immediatly wrote the owner and used the word piss, because, that's what it was! The covers to the top bunk were solied and had not been cleaned. The smell was overwhelming. Then we discoved the fridge had not even been cleaned, the counters had crumbs and the cabinets were a mess with spilled coffee grinds, the ice make had not been dumped. The Owner called back with the cleaner on the line and defended her saying she was a longtime friend and had been cleaning this unit for years. So after a 7 hour drive to have a vaction with family we were given the option to vacate the property with a full refund or she could come back and strip the bunks. No other rentals were available in the building so we opted for her to come back (had to wait an hour then wait while she cleaned the other areas of concern). The bunk was stripped and no other linens were provided (bare matress all week long). She did clean the other areas of concern and I had her dump the ice maker, which never produced ice the remainder of the week. And yes, the arm was locted in the "on" position. Other things - serveral light bulbs were out in the unit, kitchen was stocked but everything was old and worn, the fridge was original to the unit and doubt it's filter had ever been changed. All of the bed linens are faded and stained, the bathroom rugs were stained and old. The showers heads are old and there was black mold in the wood around the master shower. All of the fixtures in the baths were outdated. No need to go on. This unit is not professionally decorated and has not updated (maybe the stove, micro & dishwasher) Absentee Owner situation for sure. The view was great, the pool was great, the bed was comfortable. Owner made us feel this was our fault!

We enjoyed our time very much, just those two places of concern listed above- dryer couldn’t be set for a certain time or cycle because the dial and indicator had come apart. The comforters on all beds were dingy and faded. One comforter on one of the twin size beds had a cigarette burn hole.

My husband and I booked this condo and allowed our 14 year old son to bring a friend. We already k ew that we love the white sand beaches of Okaloosa Island. There's considerably less traffic than in Destin.
The boys liked the bunk beds with their own TVs and a shelf. They also liked the wi-fi a lot.
My husband and I liked being on the 2nd floor, so we didn't have to wait for elevator very often. The room was clean and comfortable. It was pretty quiet despite some people being at the pool after 10PM when it was supposed to close.
We normally might have a small breakfast before heading down to the beach. Come back to the room for a small lunch and/or frozen drinks. We generally go out to dinner every night because there are so many fantastic restaurants. My husband loved the waffle maker....just like in a hotel. We both loved the Oster Reverse Crush Blender for our frozen, adult beverages. Probably going to have to order our own. The toaster oven was wonderful for heating up leftovers for the boys at lunch.
The owner, Daniel, was very responsive and detailed with the information he sent to me. He was so nice!
The only things that I would change would be auto inflator wasn't there and he explained why. I told him that the knob on the dryer is broken. It still works. You just have to turn it and hope for the best.

When we arrived a few minutes before 4, the housekeeper opened the door & said it would be 10 minutes more at most. We waited outside in the heat til 4:20. She told the the owner that she offered for us to come in to start unpacking which was not true. Then the ice maker wasn’t working & I emailed the owner, he said they’ve never had any issues with it & to make sure the wand was down & the ice container pushed all the way back. I received an email by mistake from the owner to the previous guest stating he was sorry about the issues with the ice maker. Then the TV kept saying “no signal”, I emailed the owner Sunday to let him know this & he responded with a picture of the remote control telling us what to do. We followed the instructions with no results, we took the connections in the cable box off & back in which also didn’t work. I emailed the owner again Monday saying we tried everything he said & still says “no signal” & said he would see what he can do & that he had this problem 2 weeks ago & thought it was resolved. After another email Wednesday he said he got in touch with his housekeeper & said she would be by Thursday morning to have her look at it. By Thursday after 2 I emailed owner & said no one has been by. He said she had to wait for the HVAC guy at her house to finish. It would have been nice to receive an email telling us that. We don’t go on vacation to watch TV all day by any means, but after a day of activities & coming back to the condo it would have been nice to be able to watch TV. We were without the TV for 5 days & the owner said it was user error. On Wednesday I did ask for compensation due to not having TV service for 5 days. The owner was rude saying I should have given him a chance to offer any compensation, but I think 5 days was plenty of time. Anyway I would stay at this condo complex again, but not rent from this owner again
