This place is amazing. I’m simple the housekeeping was outstanding every single day they came and cleaned my room spotless. Now breakfast is outstanding also they have a huge variety of food and even have an omelet bar, they pick you up from the airport. They have a lot of great staff anywhere on the property. Darwin the lady who checked us in the guys that offer tours to the dive shop guy’s all outstanding. If you are worried about your safety don’t be they have it squared away security everywhere!!
Hmmm nothing my time here flew by

The staff tried hard but were unsupported.
The transport did not turn up for 75 minutes after it was due. The website does not make clear that they have one bus and they pick all the flights and ferry’s up on the same bus. This means a high amount of waiting whilst different ferry’s and planes land at different times. We were left in midday sun and I was travelling with my 77 father so this was actually quite dangerous.
Also the airport shuttle from the hotel on leaves every 2 1/2 hours so you end up with a lot of waiting around. We had a local flight 8:30 and so were wanting to leave around 7 but had to get on the bus at 5:30 instead. Furthermore despite being booked as bed and breakfast and having to leave super early due to the infrequent buses they still would not provide a breakfast box to take. After complaining we were able to get a separate shuttle at 6:30 but still not food.
On arrival at the hotel there was only one lady on reception and a full bus load of people to check in. We waiting over an hour to be able to check in.
All in all these records really tainted our time here and we would not recommend anyone this hotel due to this

good location and clean. excellent breakfast and nice staff. Best of all, great beach chair location.
it is a small thing but you have to walk through sand to get to our room so we were always tracking sand into our room.

friendly staff. Javier and Justin, beach boys, were the best!

The staff was great, management was poor.
I checked into my room at 3:00PM, the first room didn’t have power or it didn’t resemble nothing that I thought it would be from the booking site. They moved me to another room which was down the hall, it had no towels, no refrigerator, hair stuffed and the shower and sink drains. It wasn’t clean at all, actually maintenance was still working on the room. They had no ice or cups for us,they couldn’t help me at all. I wouldn’t stay here at all because it was so many 5 star hotels near and this was not the one. I plan to return and stay somewhere else with my entire family.

The food at Cayuco Restaurant was exceptional
The attendance of a senior highschool trip. It wasn't bad per se that senior went to the hotel, but it was really bad that the staff let them to anything they wanted ununished to the point were guests were saying they will ask ahead of their trips to see if seniors would attend. All of that because the staff wouldn't do anything to control them as if they were something special

Great location. All staff from front desk, house keeping and restaurant were fantastic. All were friendly and took care of any requests. Very impressed with Stephanie and Michael from the restaurant that remembered our names. Gardens and grounds are in fantastic shape.
Kitchen needs updated, limited cooking supplies. Only able to have 2 towels from beach hut. Since floors tile and slippery when wet an additional towel for the floor is needed, or have something that is on the floor when you enter the room so that you don't drip all over the floor. Pathways need to be trimmed back a little bit.

The staff at Paradise Beach Hotel are excellent and took great care of us. The daily included breakfasts had us well fed every morning and caffeinated for a morning snorkel. The location is unbeatable - the beatuful West Bay reef can be easily accessed via a quick jaunt down the beach then a short swim. Another amenity we really appreciated: The hotel provides plenty of cold bottled water in your room every day as well as plenty of water coolers around to refill bottles.
The room left a bit to be desired especially the water pressure in the shower, but we weren't there to hang out in the room anyways so it never bothered us too much.

The shower did not work well. It would get scalding hot then freezing cold. Toilet had to be manually flushed half the time by taking the lid off and lifting the float. The bed was on wheels and the brakes on the wheels of the bed did not work , the bed rolled around. The headboard on the bed was not attached to the wall so when the bed moved the headboard would fall over. The headboard almost fell on top of me a couple times. The pool had a lot of steps everywhere and you can’t see them so you end up tripping or banging your knees or toes on the steps. Sometimes the elevator did not work, although it would get repaired quickly. If you had a complaint they would send someone immediately. That being said nothing really got fixed. The rooms were very dated. The bathrooms need a complete overhaul.

the beach front was fabulous and the staff even better! Our room was nice and kept up daily with sand removal and turn over.
We enjoyed everything.

Willingness of the staff to help me find an alternative solution
The hotel only notified me of an overbooking situation when I arrived. In their opinion Booking's fault, but I was not supported in communicating with them. However, I was supported in finding an alternative solution at another hotel.

The daily all you can eat breakfast buffet was freshly prepared and offered a terrific selection of foods (even for someone like me who can not have Gluten or Dairy). The open air seating is adjacent to the beach, looks out on the ocean, and is was a wonderful way to start the day! There are an abundance of beach restaurants, water taxies, a small market close to the property for basic previsions and dozens of scuba diving operations to choose from. If you are a diver, Paradise Beach Hotel has an on-site operation and the diving in Roatan is fantastic!!!
The room was very good but lacked a few basic things such as: dish soap, sponge and towel when using the kitchenette sink. Our bedroom mini-split AC worked very well in the bedroom but the unit in the main room kept tripping the circuit breaker and did not work, so we used the overhead fan. Also, it would be nice to have some additional wall hooks since the closet is so small.

good location
staff was not helpful, interested only in making you spend more money, I asked how to get to restaurant Muna Luna (it’s only a 20 minutes walk by the beach). They told me it was too far that I should get a taxi for US $15. I went out and got a taxi for $5. Once in the restaurant they told me I can walk back through the beach, that’s what I did

The smell in the corridors around the pool. They don't have fresh water in the sinks. Front desk service

location
We rented 5 rooms and the one where my children stayed, the water running from the sink gave electricity shocks, when I went to talk to the people who work at the front desk they told me not to worry because it was low voltage. They didn't try to fix the problem immediately, I almost had to beg to change the room and when I asked to speak to the manager, I never could, they always sent someone else.
So if you want a safe place with better service, I recommend you look for another hotel.

Scenery for sure! Conch soup was the best I've had in Honduras....
I've stayed in many resorts all over the world and was not impressed by the food prices.... The bacon wrapped shrimp was the worst I have ever eaten. The pizza was delicious, fish tacos I give a 5 star, conch soup was the best and the rooms didn't have enough towels.

Amazing location right in West Bay Beach, close to all restaurants and other conveniences.
On cruise ship days the area is packed, as is most of West Bay. Better towels in the room would have improved our stay, things were a bit outdated for the price of the hotel.

close to the water and restaurants and stores
there are double beds, not queens as I was expecting

One of the best locations; like that they had free activities to do for the guests such as yoga, feeding the fish on the beach, etc.
They ran out of water, even to sell.

the beach location is top notch l
staff were very unkind, scarce options to dine in, rooms are severely dated and lacking basic things. Disappointed by how the hotel has not been cared properly
