The staff were excellent, every one of them.. They worked to make the stay the best possible. The dive crew were amazing. We will be back.

The place is just as the photos. It is located next to big resorts but in their own private space. This place is actually cheap compared to nearby hotels. I have paid more and receives less. My stay was confortable and really affordable. I enjoyed breakfast, views and quiet.

Clean, cozy, quiet
A little bit on the far end of west bay.

Cute bungalows but the cheaper ones are on the bottom level so you may hear lots of noise when your upstairs neighbors wake up. Watch out if you're trying to sleep past 7.
The view from the deck of the restaurant is beautiful.
It's expensive. A plate of pasta in the hotel restaurant is $20 US. Roatan has completely dollarized the economy and you're paying US prices. Breakfast is included but has one small hot plate that you can't pick. It's not much to get you through the morning.
The hotel is in a quiet part of the beach which is nice but as soon as you walk down to west bay it's like a shopping mall exploded on the beach. It's loud, crowded, you're harassed by vendors every minute for a chair, hair braiding, excursion, mango, etc. The prices are crazy and designed to rip you off.
Roatan was amazing in the early 2000s but it's over. Too many cruise ships, too much short term focus on ripping off tourists, too developed, too loud, too expensive.

The location was in a litter hidden in the jungle but barefoot steps to the beach and dive boat.

Great location. Helpful staff. Close to the West Bay beach, but very quiet. Nice garden, apartments just few steps from the beach. Diving center in the resort is the perfect fit for divers.

The location was perfect. Just at the end of West End Bay so easy to walk to the restaurants and snorkeling, but not in the middle of all the crowds.
Happy hour drinks were advertised as 2 for 1, but usually provided as a "double" with very little alcohol.

The location is perfect, just steps around the corner from the bustle of West Bay's main beach, it feels secluded and quiet, with a lovely little pocket beach to itself and magnificent views from the restaurant/deck.

This is a great place to stay as it is centrally located (a quick walk to the beach at West Bay and a quick boat taxi to West End) and super convenient for diving. The airport transfers were included and very helpful. All staff were patient, kind and helpful. The room was spacious enough and had a hammock on the porch and the luscious gardens and palm trees were tended every day. Drinks were potent and a bargain. The food was generous and tasty. The diving is fantastic.
The restaurant was convenient and there was plenty of tasty and reasonably priced seafood on the menu. That said, the menu needed more healthy options. Fried food dominates the menu. Also, most of the food is excessively salted. The conch soup had a wonderful broth but it tasted like a handful of salt had been added. The room needed some TLC--re-plastering & paint mostly, rusty shower curtain rod, moldy grout in shower. Also, the room service was kind of hit and miss. Wash cloths were either not provided or we received only one or one that was ripped, worn or stained. We ended up short of soap and TP a couple of times. The staff, however, was responsive. I mention these things not to to issue heavy criticism but to bring attention to them because they do matter and hopefully management will take note. We enjoyed our stay and would be thrilled to return.

Loved the inviting atmosphere and the staff was very nice. Loved we could wake up and see the ocean from our bungalow. The hammock was a nice added touch for relaxing.
There was so much trash in the rocks and the ocean especially where we sat for supper.

the place is a bit secluded from the main concentration of resorts, is quiet and peaceful with a lovely garden in front of the cabins. Macaws come over in the morning to eat the fruit and seeds from the trees and there’s a family of cats that drop by for visits. The on-site bar/restaurant is great too
Whilst it would be great to have a full-size pool it’s not a big deal to not have one! and

excellent Roatan option with immediate beach and water access, very good onsite restaurant (simple menu), excellent dive team and wonderful resort staff from the grounds crew to the chef and barmen to the security personnel
A more comfortable chair in the room for relaxing - it was the bed or a hardwood chair

Awesome place! Beautiful grounds, 2 min walk to West Beach, restaurant has great food, friendly staff, private beach area. loved the hammock on the porch. Would stay again.
Two things: 1: the bed/mattress was horrible. hard and uncomfortable. it felt like I was sleeping on the box spring and not a mattress. 2: I asked the receptionist about beach towels, they said just lock up at reception when you need and drop off when down. what they didn’t tell me was they were $12 each and I was actually buying them. it’s fine except they were super cheap. I think a beach resort should provide beach towels. most resorts I’ve visited across the globe, it’s a service provided. bring your own beach towels

just like moving in with family - family that you like
no room service - we are spoiled I know

Breakfast included
Trip hazards everywhere, poorly lit, soak pool is not really a pool, it has a dive shop that does not really do much for those that want to snorkel, and the location/ proximity to the beach is very inconvenient.

Great staff and wonderful laid back feeling. Peaceful spot with a lovely deck and water views. Away from the noise and crowds of the main town but just a few minutes walk to the beach and all the shops and restaurants.

The location is fantastic. The room was nice. The food was okay. The staff was very helpful with everything (except wifi). I had dinner here twice, and the dinner food was very good.
The wifi was subpar. It was between 0 and 1 mbps download and upload in my room, which meant it basically was non-functional in my room. I asked about it at the office, and was told it was 10 mbps throughout the property, and that there were access points near my room. It was true that it was 10 mbps at the front desk. But if you walked out of reception, it was about 5 mbps. If you walked all the way to my room, it was about 0-1 mbps. So, the access points or mesh was not working. I went back to the office, and was told "no one else was complaining" and I left it at that. Nothing was done to fix the problem. Most people don't need wifi, so for most people, this was not a problem. But I was trying to work remotely, and could not. Instead of staying at the hotel, I ended up staying at Roatan Beach Desk every day I was there. The hotel was wasted on me.
Breakfast was only okay. I looked at the breakfast offering on my first morning and decided to go somewhere else. I ate at Annie's, which is about 200 yards away, almost every morning. I ate here only on my last morning when I was in a hurry.
