DIRTY

The place was good located and with easy access with public transport to Amsterdam.

DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY! Everything was dirty, the floors were full with balls of dirt, the shower, even in the sink there was toothpaste of the previous guests. The walls full of stains and the curtains too. You could see the marks on the mirror of having cleaned with a dirty cloth.In the second bedroom there was a closet and on top of it a layer of dust that clearly meant that they haven't cleaned that for weeks.

Quiet and out the way

Swimmingpool was great and right next to a play park. Easy bus routes, 15 to closest town and about 30 mins from amsterdam sloterdijk. Staff where amazing and friendly and great English as I don't speak any Dutch other than basics.

Eating facilities where not great. Only could get takeaway no restraunt reading, always closed off, thought there would be some sort of entertainment for children in the evening but there wasn't anything.

Location. High standard for rooms. Quiet.

No staff or facilities in evening. Charged extra for bedding but no towels provided. Air con could not be controlled and bunk bed fell off wall.

Great

Great little place with great view and outdoor space, enjoyed our stay a lot

Did not have towels, hairdryer or cleaning products. Also had to pay for tax and bedding separate to the original price.

Superb

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Warm despite the cold temperatures outside. Very quiet site in December. Bus stop a minutes walk from the site to get into Amsterdam centre one way or the sea/Lidl/Aldi the other way! (change at Sloterdjik station for Amsterdam Central. Uber taxis and uber eats also readily available in the area. Plane noise did not bother us but perhaps may be more busy in the summer.

On-site shop was closed in December.

Beautiful holiday house. We had such a lovely time in this resort. Very clean, very stylish,we could see the ducks and the beautiful view.

nice place to stay

We enjoyed staying here during new year. the house is decent, a lot of facilities and we love the environment. The receptionist were all very friendly and helpful, we felt welcomed. Just that they will be unreachable after the check in time & we have to get the towels & everything the day after tomorrow. As we didn’t have a car because we are foreigners, it was quite a bit problem to reach this place as it was quite far from the city and there was particular time to get the bus from the nearby bus stop (need to check the bus schedule or else have to wait for 30-45 mins). And the deposit is quite a big number (€500) per booking. We recommend to rent a car to go here as it will be convenient for family/group.

a last resort option when visiting amsterdam

warm apartment, spacious inside & out, washing machine + drier facilities ($$)

very far out of Amsterdam city so it’s perfect if you’re doing day trips and don’t mind taking the bus or spending 60-100€ on Ubers. the staff were unaccommodating, rude, and didn’t give us much help. my father was locked out of the apartment and the staff refused to let him in at 1am in the freezing cold. people skills are not their strong suit. disappointing for such a beautiful city.

Not recommended if travling with no car

A great place to travel with the child. A lot of possibilities for walks, a pleasant restaurant and convenient washing system. Not so hard to get to Amsterdam

Where should I start? To make it short: a piece of soap, a roll or toilet paper and a box of matches could make our stay way more comfortable. We came with no car so every time something small was needed we had to go to a supermarket by bus. Here and there some spider net, but this was less critical than no matches or no towels in the room.

Very cosy, warm place. The garden was nice. The location is very nice other than being slightly away from the city.

The room price did not include bed sheets. Therefore I paid for the bed sheets separately, which was OK. However, I would expect that at least the bed sheets were laid on the beds by the personnel before customer arrival, instead of just being put on the beds. I had to lay the sheets provided by the facility. Before coming to the facility, I knew that I would have to bring own towels, food etc. However I would expect that at least the very basic things like toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher liquid was offered by the facility. I brought everything needed for the stay, but I could never think that I should bring dishwasher liquid with me. The internet was without password, an unsecure internet. This could be improved.

Comfortable stay but it’s quite out of reach with conveniences.

The surrounding environment is back to the nature, lots of greenery, canal, ducks… Rooms are decent in size, clean and comfortable. Kitchen utensils are complete.

There are no towels, no shampoo, no soap in the bathroom. The room was not made up, we have to lay our bedsheets, pillow case and blanket covers. And end of the stay, as per their booklet instruction upon check out, we have to clear the rubbish bin, remove the bed sheet, pillow case and blanket cover, broom clean the rooms, clear the fridge, clear the dishwasher, arrange the cutlery back to cupboard…. Feels like are doing house keeping for them ! Location is far from the township, there is nothing around the resort, closest shops and train station are 15 minutes drive away, if you don’t have a car it would be a problem.

Quite nice for a relaxing stop

such a beautiful place. large cabins and comfy beds.

€42 euro charge for linen fee and the beds weren’t even made when we arrived. no towels in the property but available from reception for a non refundable fee of €6.95. staff not so friendly/helpful on front desk. possibly just lost in translation.

Really good place

It was very clean. Soft beds. Beautiful scenery. Cozy house to stay. Actually it's a really got place to stay. We wanted to use the pool but it was closed.

The parking slot that we got was so tiny. A little far from Amsterdam but there are buses passing just outside to take you to the city. The laundry machines that I used I think didn't have soap because all clothes didn't smell "clean". And had to use the dry machine twice to dry the clothes.

Pleasant

The noise due to the airplanes taking off at Schiphol isn’t as disturbing as other reviews made it seem. The location of the accommodation is great for the price - a 20 minute neat ride to Amsterdam Centraal.

Our accommodation lacked a good kitchen knife, a lighter to turn on the gas stove, soap, etc. We also had to purchase our own toilet paper.

The worst booking I've ever made

A lot: - false advertising (the property claims that pets are allowed for a surcharge; the truth is that pets are allowed only for a small proportion of the cabins, the majority of the accommodation is not pet-friendly) - a total disrespect for the paying customer (refusal to fully refund the booking upon providing last-minute information that they don't have a pet-friendly cabin available for me; mowing the lawn in the afternoon during my 3 day stay, even if I was present) - hidden costs (you are informed that you have to pay the tourist tax and the bedding after you book) - barely slept at all, as the cabin got very hot (no air con or ventilator), mosquitoes and spiders feasted on us, and the noise of the planes landing at Schiphol was deafening - there were dirty pans/pots/glasses/cups/mats; the table outside was also dirty, with traces of food/beverages

Nice park with spacious accommodation, but beware of aircraft noise

Nice park with reasonable distance between the accommodations to give you privacy. The living room and kitchen are spacious, the bedrooms a little on the small side. It is a bit out of the way so having a car is no luxury, although there is a good and regular bus service running past the park to Amsterdam and IJmuiden.

Aircraft noise has been mentioned many times by others, but it is hard to imagine how noisy it is really is: more than you think. You do get used to it, but leaving the windows open at night is not really an option unless you want an early wake-up call.
