A rum stay in the Rum Store

Bed was comfortable and linen / towels were good. Location was close to town and station but next to a working dry dock . See below.

Wifi was non existent. En suite WC wasn't connected securely to the floor and didn't seem safe to use.. Plenty of cobwebs. Main bedroom was next to a dry dock, which used heavy machinery from 0730AM on two days of our stay and 5.30AM on one day. Always rubbish outside from the restaurant.

Location was ideal for us. Easy access on foot to the station and the Scilly ferry. Also handy for the Boatshed Restaurant an the town centre which was good.

Wifi was a little flaky, and bed/bedding/bedroom arrangements didn't quite match those detailed on the Booking.com website pages, but we managed. Bathroom door didn't lock.

October Stay

We loved the location of this character property. The host kindly told us all about the history of the building which was really interesting. It is a large accommodation but still has a very cosy feel. It was warm with easy to advance heating and water. The sofas were comfortable and evenings watching tv together as a family were great. the kitchen table was big enough to have a jigsaw puzzle on the go (it was a wet week) and still have dinner in the evenings at the other end!! we’d definitely return!

There are windows all around the property but only one has a view which makes it a little dingy, but even then it wasn’t something we didn’t like as it was so cosy.

Location was great.nice size apartment.plenty of kitchen utensils and coffee/tea as a nice extra

Very tired in need of some up grading.bathrooms need attention.bed in master room is very uncomfortable and has a wood block underneath which sticks out catches your leg.

Location is central for penzance, ideal if arriving by train.

Could be really nice but interior, especially bathroom and ensuite are tired. Beds dropping to bits, held together by bits of pallet and cable ties.

A beautiful location set in a wonderful spot, close to everything going on in Penzance. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends n family.

Das Bunker!

Size and location of good pubs near by. Too expensive better off at a local village either side of Penzance

No natural light, 25 lights alone in lounge. EN suite bedroom has very small windows which back onto an industrial drydock which operates a forklifts from 8 am with an annoying reverse tanoy. Other bedroom wi Dow is overlooked by the office of the works. So it's more of a bunker than anything else. Very little information only thing supplied is a WiFi code which due to thick walls is all but useless. Even you mobile phone won't work. Luxury was not a word I would use but it's dependent on what you are use to. 32 inch TV seemed lost in the large lounge. No tvs in bedrooms. Emergency exit was blocked and I had to report and insist it was cleared. Again its a small window a meter of the ground, very little signage and no instructions The parking of cars outside the door with a steep hill doesn't instill confidence if they were to roll back they would block the only door. Overall expensive and there are better options at a £1000 per week. Also parking was diabolical people complaining and trying to reserve area's that can't be reserved.
