A Home on the Range at Bandon Crossings 6 bedrooms
About this house rental
You will have plenty of room to spread out in this 6+ BEDROOM HOME, whether your are here to try your hand golfing in Bandon, or just ready to relax and enjoy friends or family reunions. There's plenty of room for everyone in a lovely setting. The huge country kitchen is great for your group and seats 12 in there with more space in the dining room. Plenty of space for gathering, or retreating to a bedroom for privacy. Lots of beds and baths: 12+ beds, 4 2/2 baths. There are 2 king bedrooms downstairs, one with a bathroom ensuite and another right next to a shared bathroom. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms, each with a queen bed. One of them has a separate alcove with a daybed and extra twin mattress. It also has a half bathroom ensuite. Another bedroom has a full bath ensuite, and there is another full bath upstairs to share. There is also a twin trundle (2 beds) in a loft, and another day bed in a public area. We also have a futon bed downstairs in an enclosed porch, near the foosball table. There are 2 sofas in the living room that fold down into full beds. The final half bath is near the kitchen. PERFECT FOR GOLFERS: This setting is perfect for golfers - just a wedge to the first tee, with the driving range literally steps out the door. It's the only house at the golf course, and is unique in its location. As guests of our house, you will be afforded special rates for golfing at Bandon Crossings, which is a lovely and challenging course. If you're new to the game, or a bit rusty, lessons and rental clubs are available. PERFECT FOR FAMILES AND FRIENDS: The house is a great place to gather for food and fun, with plenty of room inside and out to gather to remember old times and create new memories. It's a short drive to Bandon's great beaches an other activities. WONDERFUL LOCATION: The weather, less than a mile from the ocean, is very mild, and often more comfortable than right at the coast. The closest beach access is about 2 1/2 miles away, with many other options within a 15 minute drive. The house is about 5 miles south of the town of Bandon, easy to get to right off US Highway 101. Although there are shuttles and taxis available, we recommend private cars for the most convenient stay. Enjoy the large spacious home. Guests are welcome in the entire house, except for a small owner's suite that has a separate entrance, and two storerooms. We may not be in attendance during your stay, although if we are, we usually stay to ourselves and allow guests to feel at home without interference. Our apartment has a separate entrance (a sliding door by a small deck on the southeast side). We always try to be available by phone should you have any questions or need assistance. Our housekeepers are also available. It's a 5 mile drive to Bandon's Old Town's shops and restaurants, and 10 miles north to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and restaurants, a crabbing and fishing dock, and charter fishing. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area (about a half hour drive), or serving as a base for day trips, such as south to the Redwoods National Park in northern California. GOLF: Some land is meant for Golf. Bandon, Oregon is one of those places. Bandon Crossings Golf Course is a unique and interesting 18 hole course with carts available, and recommended as a hidden gem by Links Magazine, and ranked by GOLF Magazine in the top 100 courses in the US under $150. We have a 2+ night minimum for the house, but we may be able to accommodate a single night golfing trip, so please reach out with your special circumstances. It's famous neighbor, the world class Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, includes the golf courses of Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Pacific Trails, Old Macdonald, and the Sheep Ranch. Join golfers from all over the world playing these fabulous golf courses. Our guests can enjoy golf at Bandon Crossings Golf Course at the favorable Crossings Club rates, including a cart. My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at the Home on the Range. The house was super spacious with tons of amenities but the best part about the experience is the driving range and short game practice area right outside of the kitchen!!! There were two grills (one gas and one charcoal) which we definitely used to our advantage. This property is amazing and a true golf lovers dream when visiting Bandon. We all would absolutely love to stay here again - it was the perfect golf getaway for my friends and I and a fantastic value!"

We stayed at the house for a family reunion and it was perfect for us. Lots of bedrooms and flexible sleeping options that made it easy to find spots for the little ones. The house is not fancy but was clean and well-equipped. The large backyard abuts a driving range and putting green and that was no problem for us or the golfers. Carla lives on the property and couldn't have been friendlier. She was very helpful and always quick to respond to any questions. Bandon Beach is 10 minutes away and was wonderful.

Their was not a comfortable chair in the whole house where we could set and visit unless we set at the table. All carpet were very dirty and look knot to have been clean in a long time. and what we were told was bedrooms were not bedrooms but just some add on room with electric panel in them. I did enjoy my family

Our group loved this home! The boys golfed Bandon one day and the entire group loved the view of the golf course and driving range. The house was perfectly stocked with extra blankets and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is ample space and all the extra beds and futons were great! We will definitely be booking to return again!

Love how big the house was! Kids could be in one half and we couldn't hear them in the other half! Really wish there was at least one more TV. The one in the kitchen really wasn't working well and it's an awkward room to watch TV in.
We loved all the beds! And all of the extra bedding!

With this property, you are paying for Beds! There are beds and futons everywhere. If you need a place for many people, and want to save money by splitting the nightly fee, then this is the place for you. Overall we did not like our experience. A lot of miscommunication or lack of communication from the property owner. We were denied a late check out due to another group coming in, but the next group was allowed an early check in and 2 men walked in on my 2 daughters sleeping at 8:30am while we were in town. Owner was rude with my mother-in-law when the concern was brought to her attention, and her response was, “you should of had the doors locked,” although she admitted later the men had the key code to get in. She later apologized to me directly, but I felt only because her billing system messed up and she needed me to pay the balance of our stay. Had that not happened, I guarantee she would not have reached out (via email). The Property only has 2 TV’s, 1 in the living room that seats 5 people, and 1 in the kitchen that is not viewable from the table and chairs. My kids 12-21, were terrified by one part of the house they nicknamed the “servants quarters.” Very creepy at night. This is not the worst place I have stayed, but is not worth the money charged by any means. I do not recommend unless a large group trying to save money on splitting a house as stated above.

Big house on the golf course. Beautiful landscape. Interior is very dated and uninviting.

There were a few clubs in the garage, and it only cost $7 for a large bucket of golf balls. We greatly enjoyed trying out golf for the first time, and didn’t just feel like an inconvenience for the staff or other golfers. The range is about 100 ft from the door. It was a huge added bonus for us, and we hadn’t planned to take advantage of it.
The house itself was great! The layout is a bit of a maze, but for me it added to the fun. Plenty of space for everyone, and I didn’t hear any complaints about the beds. So many soft extra blankets available. There were also a couple futons that I hadn’t realized were there. I loved the kitchen with its huge island for prep and serving food. We never ran out of silverware, and there were plenty of dishes. My lone complaint would be that there was only 1 whisk, and it was the largest one I’ve ever seen. 😂 But that’s an easy fix.
