The Laura Ashley by the Sea is a 2,800 sq ft delightful hacienda outfitted in signature designer style. It's located on a canal in The Landings, one of Fort Lauderdale's signature upscale residential communities. Spacious and ideal for groups of up to 10, family and friends, this is a dream South Florida vacation home! A wonderfully inviting open floor plan holds 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all in that iconic Laura Ashley style that is comfortable and attractive: tasteful furnishings, decorator tile floors, crown moldings, and stylish fittings. The kitchen is well equipped and roomy, the family room has a flatscreen television and plush seating, and the pool and sundeck are never far away, with entries from the family room, both master bedrooms, and the dining room. Wireless Internet is included. Speaking of bedrooms, this is one of our largest vacation homes, with room for everyone to spread out. The first master bedroom includes a flatscreen television, a king-size bed, and a master bathroom. On the opposite side of the house, you’ll find a second master bedroom also with a king-size bed and an adjoining bathroom. Three other bedrooms feature queen-size beds, and the fifth bedroom has 2 single-size beds that are perfect for children. The backyard faces south and has wonderful sun from dawn to dusk. It's also situated at the intersection of two canals, which makes for a scenic view of boats gliding past. The pool is lovely, with a deck made for enjoying the sunshine and there's even a hammock strung between two palms, just like paradise is supposed to be! A sheltered alfresco dining area allows entertaining in comfort, and a fully equipped outdoor kitchen has everything you need to cook in style. The private dock has its own lounge chairs, perfect for tranquil reflection and cozy companionship. Stayed at the house with 8 women - it was the perfect size for all of us. The pool and view were fantastic, very peaceful. The house was very clean, and the table was set when we arrived which made it look so welcoming. There were two living areas and of course 5 bedrooms. There was a starter pack of items such as shampoo and soap, laundry and dishwasher detergent. All my questions were answered within a few hours. The property was within walking distance to many places, but we also took Ubers, which were always within 2-3 min. away. We will definitely return to this house in the future.

It lacked a lot of stuff in the kitchen (it would also be nice to know in the description what type of coffee maker is present so guests can bring their own coffee since the place doesn't offer any), some of the pocket doors do not provide a lot of privacy (to bedroom OR shared bathroom). Beautiful house, great location, beautiful backyard but don't plan on eating at the house unless you bring your own kitchen stuff.

The property was a nice location, easy 1 mile bike ride to the beach and fun to have 4 bikes available. Lots to do at Lauderdale by the Sea and also enjoyable to relax by the pool. We were disappointed at the cleanliness of the kitchen and the beds could use an update, but overall the house worked well for our group.

We loved this house!!!This house has the best layout...it is l-shaped with bedrooms on each end and easy access to the pool area from four living areas!! I loved that! The pool area is wide open with great views and the house is in a great location...close to the beach and lots of shopping.Although the pool area feels wide open, it is very protected from the wind and the pool gets nice and warm.There is a great quality washer and dryer, good water pressure and a second refrigerator.The property manager was so quick to respond and very kind with any questions I had. I wish all properties were managed this way.I would recommend to the manager...a working vacuum, the dishwasher didn’t work right for us and there were too few kitchen wash clothes and towels...but those were minor issues in the overall perfection of the rest of the place.

THe house is in a nice neighborhood. Every amenity you could possible need was nearby. We were there for a convention in Fort Lauderdale and went early for vacation time. Unfortunately, we were not able to do some of the outings we had planned because we were there during the week Hurricane Ian landed on the west coast of Florida. SO, we stayed in, watched old movies and drank margaritas. YAY!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Laura Ashley by the Sea. The house was clean and spacious as described and illustrated in the photographs. The outstanding part of our stay was the backyard heated pool /patio area where we spent most of our time while at the house. There were minor things to note but nothing to hold anyone back from renting this house. There are no kitchen food basics as some rentals provide like cooking oil, flour, sugar, spices, etc...or dishwasher soap, napkins, paper towels,and no shampoos or bath soaps, etc...and, the house manual needs an update as there wasn't much useful information in it about the area or information on wifi etc... The owner and manager responded immediately to any questions we had. We were there to participate in the National Senior Games, so we didn't spend much time exploring the area and cooked our own meals at the house.

It was very roomy and beautiful for the most part but the house could use a few minor improvements: sofa in family room was full of stains and is in serious need of cleaning, needs new hammock, bulbs in kitchen need replacing, second master bathroom faucet tightened, towel rack replaced in hall bath, unclog sink in main master bathroom, fix cracked kitchen floor tiles, flood light needs to be replaced, and toliet seat needs to be replaced in second master bath. The house is in a perfect location and not far from shops and restaurants. Had a great time and other than those minor issues I would highly recommend this rental.

We did have to buy a lot of basic items such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dish cleaning items, and dishwasher tabs, as the quantities of the items left for us by the rental company were not adequate to cover the full week for our group (5 adults, 4 kids). We loved the pool, and we loved how the house was spread out, giving everyone together time and a way to have some private time. Location was wonderful, and the neighborhood was great. Overall, a great home away from home. Our kids are asking us to rent it again!

We arrived at ten but the check in was just at 4.We could not check in earlier because they were in process to clean the house. House was clean beautiful view and the heated pool was used every night.It was not heated when we arrived but we called and next day it was turned on.Great experience!! Only concern was that the outside table had a broken glass but I addressed it to Sean and I bet he will take care of it.

When we arrived, we noticed the main patio tabletop was broken and had shards of jagged glass sticking out of it. I informed the listing agent about this and asked that the table be removed or replaced as it was unsafe, when the property manager came out to inspect it they measured for new tile and glass for the table but didn’t do anything for our stay there. They also left the table at the house, but didn’t do anything else. The listing agent also told us that the table was not broken and was actually new when we arrived, which is incorrect. It felt like we were being blamed for the incident when the glass was already broken and no safety measures had been taken prior to our arrival. We hope that management takes care of the issue so no other renters can be injured, also hope that they take this incident seriously by using safety glass on the table so this doesn’t keep happening.
